We stayed again at the hotel on our way back to the UK from the south of the Germany. This time we had a family room in the new part of the hotel. It was a massive master room with very comfortable super king size bed and an adjoining room with 2 single beds. A very modern and clean bathroom with a very good shower. The staff was very friendly and helpful this stay . A lovely lady helped us finding the Nutella in the morning which made my daughter's day! The breakfast was delicious. The variety of bread and rolls was impressive . A nice touch was the honey which comes from a family run beekeeper from nearby which was absolutely delicious. The Terrasse looking on the river Rhein us amazing and gives you a real holiday feeling. Despite the weather being not the best we enjoyed sitting outside under the glass cover.

Everything was very good

Great location just down from ferry port from Linz. Hotel quite modern. Bedroom had a great view of the River Rhine. We went for the set dinner menu which was good although only one choice for starter, Main, dessert. Good breakfast with freshly made croissants. Good coffee. Helpful and friendly staff. Parking good round the back of the hotel. Provided a bottle of fizzy water and haribo.

Room a bit smaller than expected. Bedroom below had balcony and cigarette smoke wafted up to our open windows. A choice for the set menu would have been good - not sure how they accommodate vegan, gluten-free, etc. Not that close to Remagen itself.

We stayed on our travel from Great Britain to South of Germany and needed a break. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and staff was mostly friendly. The hotel offers a fantastic Terrasse which is covered and depending on the weather closed with windows. We were so lucky that the weather was nice and the electric windows opened and suddenly you were sitting next to the the river Rhein for your breakfast. Absolutely stunning and made me feel like on a holiday. The dinner in the restaurant was nice too. We stayed in a room in the ' old' part of the hotel ,but it was very nice .a massive bathroom!with a shower and a bathtub. All very clean. The bed was very comfortable too

The only small complaint was that there was no apple juice on the breakfast menu which wouldn't have been a problem but my daughter only drinks this in the morning. I had to pay for the extra which is ok, but the child didn't drink anything else like coffee or orange juice ,so there were no costs for the hotel. But this is a really small point, so no harm done and we came back and will definitely come back again as it is such a lovely place to stay.

This is hotel is an oasis. Very reasonable priced for their level of service. We’re cycling the Rhine radweg and this hotel is convenienty located right next to radweg. First impression is always staff, and the gentleman was friendly, helpful and welcoming. There is a secure bicycle parking room with outlets to charge E-bikes. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotless. The bathroom spacious with great fan. Two comfortable chairs so we could enjoy the amazing view of the Rhine. Breakfast is a generous spread. An assortment of fresh breads, many choices of quality cold cuts and cheeses, homemade jams, several types of yoghurt and toppings. And delicious fruit salad. Plus, yes it goes on and on:), my favorite Bircher Muesli. Also an array of juices, bottomless coffee and teas.

Absolutely nothing.

A very modern and well equipped hotel right on the banks of the Rhine river. We had a superb room with balcony overlooking the river. On arrival, Sara, on reception, suggested we change our room as the balcony didn’t have overhead cover and it was very cold outside. The alternative did have cover and she thought it would be better for us if we sat out to take the view. She was so thoughtful, welcoming and was correct in terms of the balcony. The room was huge with very comfortable bed and separate sitting area. A coffee machine was provided which was very much appreciated. Car parking was plentiful too and free. The staff were so nice and helpful too. Wifi reliable too. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. This hotel was perfect for our overnight stay on way home to UK and had great views of the river. It was also very close to a cross river car/passenger ferry should you want to visit Linz on the opposite bank.

Nothing. Lovely hotel and staff.

Very efficient and helpful, friendly staff. Great service. Room was comfortable, although the "courtyard view" turned out to be of the car park! Location by the river was stunning. Bike rentals were economically priced. Excellent breakfast and evening meal. Packed lunch service for our long onward journey.

Nothing!

Easy access, free parking, friendly staff, lovely breakfast room looking out onto the Rhein, nice bathroom, great lighting in the room. We thought there was a good attempt to modernise and make the hotel feel more luxurious than it’s current star rating.

We had booked a double/twin room, and had thought this meant 2 single mattresses together as a double bed. Instead we were given a small double bed with one mattress - not so good for a party made of a Mother and teenage son! Mattress not good quality either, somehow rather noisy, and if one person moves in their sleep, other person feels it. Pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. Overall we both had a bad nights sleep unfortunately.

Friendly staff, great breakfast each day, good place for bike riding, close to ferry for train station.

Would have been good with some air conditioning in the bedrooms. No central room / area to watch Euros as a group.

Great view of the Rhein from our balcony. There is a ferry for cars and foot passengers a couple of minutes walk which is really well priced and gives you access to the town of Linz which has got lots of nice restaurants and bars and a real old world feel.

The parquet flooring was a bit dusty
