Wonderful, characterful hotel with very stylish and comfortable rooms set around a beautiful garden. Fantastic breakfast served in the ballroom with an incredible range of choice. Garden was lovely for early evening drinks and the adjoining restaurant serves excellent German food in a convivial and relaxed atmosphere. A real highlight of our Rhine cycle trip. Thanks very much

This hotel was exceptional .Clean , luxurious , spacious , friendly .beautiful....I could go on. I stay in a lot of hotels but this one was something else . Beautiful restaurant attached .The German charme but still not old world .I hope I will be back there soon. SUPERB !!

We booked very late having been let down elsewhere and due to a slight mix up we were upgraded to a suite which was wonderful! Everything about the hotel was amazing, really luxurious, the staff were all lovely and the brewery and bar next door were so memorable 🍻. We didn’t have breakfast so I can’t comment on that. The bed was super comfy, huge - the shower with a massage head was such a treat, loads of speciality teas and a coffee maker with pods, premium brand toiletries - real touches of quality. Thank you for upgrading us, our son thought his double room was fab too! Safe motorbike and classic car parking, I really hope we come back one day! Thank you so much 😊

We missed food at the restaurant, so we had to eat elsewhere 😔

I was in a suite and it had excellent air conditioning (not all rooms there do), which was great on one of the hottest days of the year. Excellent location, nice beer garden, nice courtyard.

Although there was an elevator to the first floor I needed to take another stair case to reach my suite. That was an unwelcome surprise and no help was offered. So if you stay at the Barbarossa suite and they say there's an elevator: there is, but only part of the way. Also, it would have been nice to see smiles at the reception when I checked in and checked out (2 different people).

The breakfast was wonderful, variety and delicious! Location was wonderful too. I could just walk down Main Street every day to shop and see the Christmas markets.

My only issue would be the noise from the bierGarden in back of me in the evening. (My room was a little too warm, and I had to keep opening the window. I didn’t realize the heat was underneath the window and would’ve turned it off sooner if I had known). The noise was a little too much in the evening. I love church bells but the tolling of the bells at 7 AM was also a bit annoying with window opened.

Beautiful hotel in a top location, just near the Speyer dom. Clean room, comfortable bed. Unfortunately no air conditioning, which would have been pleasant during the warm days. A fan was available though. The breakfast was rich and sufficient. Next to the hotel there is a biergarten, including restaurant, also from the hotel. Nice location under the trees. We had diner in the restaurant, which tasted very good. Too bad something went wrong with crediting the bill to our room, but that was taken care of during check-out.

Very cosy and well positioned hotel in a stylish historical building, straight in the heart of the old town, yet very easy to reach also by car. Safe parking lot. Very kind staff, a nice room, nicely refurbished, well looked after and clean. Excellent bed and pillows. Breakfast had a great offering of fresh bread, cheese, fruit and vegetables. We felt very welcome and surrounded by staff who know their job. Would certainly recommend and come back if I am in the neighbourhood.

Almost too much of a detail to be mentioned: I found the towels a bit small.

I chose to stay at the Hotel Domhof because it was close to Hockenheimring, where I was taking part in a Porsche training course there. The rooms were quiet and they had some very good whisky and gin available! The air conditioning was nice to have, as the weather was a bit hot during the day. Chris (sp? - the day manager) and his trainee were super friendly, and I thoroughly enjoyed talking Formula 1 with him. I would definitely stay there again. Not even a question. While I didn't get a chance to try to the restaurant next door, I plan to do so next time I visit. There were several people there each day. So, I assume it's popular. However, the hotel's restaurant served a really good breakfast.

Upon arrival we received an upgrade to a Junior Suite, which was a beautiful room, with an excellent bed, shower and amenities. Breakfast was excellent, one of the best we have had during recent hotel stays. Our car was full, as we were driving home from Italy so the use of the private locked garage for only Euro 12.50 was an important extra. Just outside the hotel were two loading stations for electric cars, which was very convenient. Getting back to the highway was also extremely easy.
