The hotel had a real sense that the guests mattered. The staff we very helpful and friendly. Great Location. Easy to get around to nearby beaches. Rooms clean. Lovely breakfast. Would recommend this hotel for a stay.

All good no dislikes

The King A is located in a fabulous location to base yourself for a stay in Argostoli. It's right by the ferry port, and the sea view room we had (207) on the 2nd floor was ideal for watching the coming and going of the ferries, cruise ships, and luxury yachts. The hotel itself is a small, boutique-style one, with rooms that have light and airy decor. Beds are comfortable and the room was cleaned daily by very friendly housekeepers, as was everyone else at the hotel. A lift services all floors. Loved the hotel cat that just slept his day away on the table in the reception area. The little dog was sweet, too. TIP: Rooms 206 and 207 are probably the best rooms for a view over the bay and mountains.

The location, right on the waterfront, was perfect with some good restaurants close by. Our room was lovely, bright and airy and spotlessly clean.

What's not to like!!

Really felt welcome and at home upon check in! Staff were very friendly and hospitable, providing plenty of recommendations for Kefalonia and wider Greece! Room was presented in a clean state, and well airconditioned! Also really nice views from the hotel as well. Bonus was the fact that there was lift access - made all the difference not having to lug a heavy back up the steps. The breakfast offered in the morning made for a really nice touch. Overall, staying here made for a pleasurable start to my time in Greece! Very grateful and can't recommend King A enough!

Overall, can't really fault anything from my stay. Was fantastic.

My stay at King A had both positives and drawbacks. The central location is convenient, with parking easily found in the nearby port.

However, the attic room was small and quite warm, with some privacy. The door didn’t close fully, and the bathroom window opened onto the terrace, making it visible from neighboring areas Additionally, it was required to leave the key at reception. While the room wasn’t ideal for us, the overall location made it a convenient choice for exploring the city."

We love the location of King A with its spectacular view and great facilities. We were really impressed with how clean it was that breakfast is available if required and we were able to park right outside. Katia even left us a bottle of wine, chocolates and biscuits to help towards our New Year’s celebrations which was very good of her. The second year we’ve stayed here so we can celebrate New Year in Argostoli and hopefully, if available we’ll stay next year too.

The staff were amazing! Especially Mella and Chester on the front desk! The two males who were often on the front desk were great with us, they were so welcoming and kind. They gave us lots of recommendations of places to visit and the best ways to get there. I will miss Mella the dog she was very helpful too! The room was very tastefully decorated, the beds were very comfortable, the room was very clean. All amenities in the room were great and we had a nice view of the harbour from our balcony. Hotel was a short walk away from the square which was handy! Great stay.

The shower head attachment was a bit low down - not sure if this is a Greek thing as our hotel in Chania was the same. other than that everything was great.

This is our third visit to the King A. It is in an excellent location to everything, parking is no problem and the rooms are modern, clean and very comfortable. Our room had a balcony which was great. The breakfast was fresh, plentiful and served on the veranda. Above all we enjoy the service and hospitality at the King A - it is family run hotel and Katia is welcoming and extremely helpful and accommodating. I left my handbag in the bedroom cupboard and she called me immediately which was much appreciated. We have recommended the King A to our friends and family and we will be back in the near future. It’s our second time at King A, second time also on the island. We love the hotel, the rooms have a chill beach vibe, they are clean, with a great size and the sea view makes it even more 10/10. The breakfast is served at the table and is very complete. And the owners are just so kind, helpful and my wife and I built real friendships with the sisters. We will definitely recommend! Our baby felt so great in here you know when kids feel at home it means it’s a good place.

What a great stay at Katia's place! We had the 2nd floor sea view rooms which were great. Very modern. Katia, her family members and the staff are all so friendly. Katia and her family have been able to use their very interesting life experiences to create a great place to stay for tourists in Argostoli. Location is perfect for anything you might want to do in Argostoli i.e. grabbing dinner at the main square or catch a ferry to Lixouri. Communication was smooth.I bothered them so much with endless questions and yet I received all very helpful information. I will definitely stay here again when I am next in Argostoli!
