The location was central. I was advised by a local in places to avoid and so we booked a place at Areos last minute and I’m glad we did. The security and layout was amazing. Our rooms were tidied properly with fresh towels, shower gel, body lotion, toothbrush and paste! I thought that was so kind and thoughtful seeing as we forgot to bring our own toothpaste. It wasn’t a hassle for the first night/morning. The guy at the reception was so kind to give directions on where to go eat and even offer us compatible adaptors to charge. It was a short stay but pleasant.

Nothing.

This boutique hotel is in a great location. The addition of balconies is a real bonus. In top of all that, the staff is so accommodating with information & suggestions. They remember you from visits the year before and really care about your experience.

The coffee machine! The hotel no longer offers breakfast which is fine but coffee is a must and the machine offers many choices including hot chocolate- the mixture is awful for all. A better quality machine or fresh brewed at least available in the morning would be nice.

Location great 10mins walk from Victoria metro, 10 mins from bakeries, supermarket, lovely restaurants. Harris was friendly, very helpful and interested in what we we doing each day. No problem to give you a kettle to use in your room. There is a coffee vending machine in the lobby and a vending machine with some snacks and rolls. The main tourist are of Monastiraki was 2 metro stops away. Lovely Areos park was just across the street.

Internet was not good. The cable was being upgraded close by so it was pretty much unusable. Just check when you book if the upgrade has been completed.

Room was a good size to accomodate our luggage and move around without bumping into each other all the time. The terrace was a nice size with table and chairs and a sun lounge. Staff are very accommodating with little requests like a kettle and cups and extra blankets. Location is great, across the road from Areos park for a morning walk, 10 minutes to walking Victoria metro station and bakeries. 10 mins in the other direction for beautiful Greek restaurant, sushi and Irish pub. Late check in went very smoothly.

Nothing really, all good. Bed a bit too firm for me, but ask or an extra blanket and place it under you works really well.

Really nice room, terrace is absolutely huge and gorgeous, with lovely views. Air conditioning worked well. Enjoyed the property.

Not a criticism of the hotel but the area where the hotel is in is a bit sketchy and dimly lit at night with characters roaming. Definitely aim to arrive in the day, walking at night isn't fun. Would probably recommend staying a kilometre away from this area.

My room was clean, comfortable and spacious. It was was great to have a balcony. too I really liked the location too as it was near the the Archeological Museum, and Areos park which is really pretty.

There was a small kitchen section which was great, but it would have been great if a kettle had been provided.

The location was perfect for my business meetings with good parking option nearby.

The hotels does’t prove breast, which is ok for business travelers. However, they need to put coffee & tea kettles in the room, which is not a big investment in general, but it gives extremely comfort to the guests.

Although the main attractions in Athens are with a considerable long walk distance from the hotel, the Victoria subway station is just 5min from the hotel, therefore the main attractions are easily reachable. The room is comfortable, its size is reasonable, the air conditioning works well and the shower is outstanding.

The staff noise in the corridor outside the room is a nuisance (too loud conversation), therefore this was a hassle on the day I decided to stay in bed longer, since I couldn´t sleep anymore. There is staff in the reception only from 9am to 5pm, which for me wasn´t an incovenient, but it could be depending on the situation.

very clean and comfortable

I have stayed several times in the past (before Covid) when it was such a welcoming place with helpful staff But this time - 1. no staff at reception - self checkin- not welcoming! 2. bar was closed- and the building feels 'dead' This is a great shame. Also no staff in the building makes it makes it feel a bit 'scary' for solo female travellers
