I stayed there for 4 nights. I got the room 53 which is on the corner and had a good view. The room was spacious. I loved the size of the room. The AC was perfect. The washroom was also cleaned and good. No complaints about the room. Cleaning was done every day. The beds for me were comfortable. I had a backache due to the soft beds elsewhere. There was a refrigerator as well in the room. They had a weighing scale but a damaged one. Hence add nearly 5 kgs to what it shows. Perhaps instead of doing good it might do bad for the traveller and cause them to pay additional at the airport. The breakfast could have add more choices. But it's not a deal breaker! The place is opposite to Larissis train and metro station, and on the main road. Hence, you don't have to go through any dodgy areas. I would say that for a solo female traveler this place is safe! All the buses for meteors leave in front of this hotel. And all the other Athens Touristic places are few metro stops away. Opt for the 5 day athens travel pass for 9 euros. It is very affordable! They have 1.5 ltr packaged water bottles for 1 euro available at the reception kiosk. Overall, I had Superb stay.

It would have been nice to have a kettle. But on the 6th floor there is a restaurant and they filled my flask with hot water twice a day for free of cost. Hence I was good.

Perfect location, Metro across the road from the hotel so easy access to many attractions around Athens, next time l'm back in Athens this is a place l will start from, metro station and the underground great price for money (5 day ticket) you can go all over the area. I can not fault this hotel in any way, staff very friendly helpful with pure family run focus to detail, make the customer happy.

Nothing, if you want the Ritz 5~6+ star gold lining you pay way over the odds. This hotel for its star rating went above that it was rated at. Again l can not fault this hotel in any way shape or form.

The Hotel upgraded our room free of charge as we were staying there for alonger period. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was good. A bit of varieties on different days will be good. The Hotel is very close to Larissa Metro station. There is a supermarket nearby which is good. The Wifi was good. The most attractive part of the hotel is the rooftop bar/restaurant. The bed was good and the shower was good. Overall, good experience and comfortable stay.

The location is a bit drab. A bit of variety and change of menu for breakfast would be good. There is no proper car parking space in front of the hotel, as it is located in a corner of a junction between a main road and side road.

We like everything . Perfect hotel. Near to the Metro Station. You can find hotel easily , perfect location!!! Clean rooms , clean bathroom and there is soaps and shampoo. Hairdryer in the room and fridge. On the six floor there is hotel’s restaurant with good and very tasty food , price is cheap. Staff is very friendly and helpful . Women on the reception was very helpful and kind, we were in the hotel early but she gave us room . If we come back again in Athens we will visit this hotel again. If you want cheap , clean hotel with perfect location you must choose Ariston Hotel!!!

The hotel is very close to the metro station. It is also next to the main railway station. This is ideal for taking a train trip to the monastery. It is also a pick up spot for many daytrips including the boat trip to hydra. The rooftop breakfast place offers great view. The security is top notched.

The front door is secured at all time and you will need someone to buzz you out or in. The coffee at the breakfast was not good, very weak coffee. They have a coffee vending machine on the ground floor but still no good. I suggest the hold should provide a coffee machine or a hot water kettle in room so guests can make their own coffee even instant one.

Stayed 3 nights. Smooth check-in. Hosts provided a quiet, cool room as requested. Lift to take up luggage. Spacious, clean room with a balcony, fridge, aircon, and blockout curtains. Good view. Good shower with good hot water. Good wifi. Cafe/bar on ground and top floors. Helpful staff. Close to Larissa Station, buses to/from Albania. Metro to centre and elsewhere close by, or it is a 15-20 minute walk.

All pretty good really. Finishes were a bit worn in places. Bed was firmer than I'd prefer. Not as close to main tourist sites as some other places but also quieter and less expensive. Nothing too serious. I'd stay there again.

We needed a place to stay near the main train station in Athens in order to head to the airport early the following morning. Ariston Hotel was perfectly situated for that! The gentleman at reception was extremely helpful and welcoming and they even kept the kitchen open a little longer for us to grab some dinner. The restaurant staff were great.

The room was small but very comfortable - and although we were grateful for the air conditioning, you couldn’t change the settings to turn it down a little. So it was all or nothing!

The location is great, litteraly across the street from the train station that goes to the airport, the metro station that goes to the center of Athens and a big supermarket which can be helpful to top up on any necessities. On foot, is not far from the center of Athens and all the great places to see. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they helped with our check-in late at night. The breakfast is nice and not expensive with a great view, I just wished it would be open until 11am for example, so that we don't need to wake up very early to get ready and take a bath in time to get there. The restaurant has very affordable prices and the food is not bad at all, it's a pity the top floor dining wasn't open at night, perhaps because it's not summer yet. The rooms are comfortable with the necessary amenities, WiFi works well and the bed and pillows are comfortable, we stayed at one of the few rooms which don't have a balcony nor a good view, I think that's the only thing that keeps it from being perfect.

Not much, and to be fair, these are not major issues and don't detract much from the experience. Having to have dinner on the ground froor instead of the top floor was a bit of a disappointment because we were really exited for the great view up there. And the fact the room had only a medium sized window and no balcony, which is perfectly acceptable, but at the same time we came at a time of the year when the hotel must be at least half empty if not more, so I don't really know why would they place us there with so many free rooms.

We choose this hotel because we plan to go to day trip to Meteora. Pro: Near to the metro (Larissa Station) and our daytrip pickup location (170m). This is important when you come back from the daytrip quite late at night. The receptionist was very kind to upgrade our room. Thank you and we appreciate it so much. Breakfast is 7Euro and have some basic menus. There is nearby supermarket to get daily stuff.

Cons: There is no kettle in the room and wi-fi signal is not strong enough. Obviously you can hear sounds from nearby rooms.

The rooms was very spacious , we have enough space to walk around. The windows/glass doors was great. Very clean ,enough wall socket for our gadgets. The room is well airconditioned. Although the toilet and bathroom needs to be improve but all in all the place is recommendable. It's nearby the Train station Larissa which we travel by train from the airport. And also the location is very accessible to travel going to most places in Athens. There's more, we did take a glance of the rooftop, the view is stunning. Also the food reasonable. We appreciate the Recepionist there was 2 of them and they are both really friendy, thanks to them they definitely complete our stay. We will surely come back again.
