Love this hotel! The only place we stay when visiting Athens for any length of time. Location is perfect, right near the metro and all the great rooftop bars. Not to mention their own amazing rooftop bar where you can take your own drinks and watch the sun set while looking out to the Acropolis.

This year we were on level 5 and the cleaning ladies would wake us up around 7-8am with the noise of them putting together all the towels and sheets in the foyer. I understand it’s a small boutique hotel but it would be better if they sorted all that stuff out on level 6 or at the rooftop where no one is sleeping.

The room and bathroom were big, practical, very well-decorated, and the bed+sheets were very comfortable. Staying in PAME house means staying in the vibrant heart of Athens, and Monastiraki is one of the busiest nightlife neighborhoods of the city. There are plenty of bars and restaurant options around, so don't expect it to be quiet at night! We were prepared so we brought our white noise speaker which allowed perfect sleep through the night ;) The building is within walking distance from the Acropolis, Plaka neighborhood, and on the direct metro line from the airport. Breakfast is taken at the lovely Frogs bar 2min walk away, where you can choose from several meal options.

We stayed 4 nights, and on the very last night we got woken up by the pipe smell invading the room. This didn't happen before, and we think it is because the room upstairs was unoccupied before that night. A note to the cleaning staff: please stop pouring polluting products into the toilet bowl if you do not intend to scrub it. Stop spreading dust and hair from room to room with this disgusting mop, and use a vacuum cleaner instead.

This place never disappoints. I have stayed in here on a number of other occasions - almost since it first opened and that says it all. The staff are always super-friendly and helpful, the rooms are really comfortable, as are the beds, and the bathrooms have a spacious shower, which is a bonus in Greece! I especially like the idea of getting a voucher to go out and have breakfast at one of two locations - I really like the breakfast at Zoubourlou, so I requested vouchers for there rather than the other location and they were happy to do this for me. You can sit, have your breakfast and watch the world around you start to wake up for the day. The hotel's location is also great... just a few minutes walk from Monastiraki Square and the metro to the airport. Great WhatsApp system too if you check in after reception has closed for the night, so make sure you check for messages from them prior to your arrival. Oh, and take the elevator to the top floor, climb some more steps and visit the little roof terrace.... the views of the Acropolis are amazing!

From the beginning , really warm welcome, quality, cleanness, functionality, and design of room are on the very high level. I had an additional need, and it was quickly covered by staff. Hotel localization allowed to get almost everywhere by foot it is close to the metro station and it was easily travel from/to the airport. Breakfasts were really good - there was a menu with 7 different options, and it was provided in Bistro close the hotel

We did not have the breakfasts. We loved the location for the crowded, narrow streets and alleys and the shops, cafes, and restaurants in profusion. We were there on a Saturday night, and it was fun and rowdy until the wee hours. Not too noisy in our room, however. The location was a fair walk from the acropolis, but if you like to walk, it’s great.

The entry is a little tricky, as a code is required, and the elevator is not obvious. An email before arrival explaining the process of getting in would be helpful.

Very comfortable hotel right in the center of Athens. The reception staff are very friendly and helped us reserve some restaurants. The rooms and beds are very comfy. There is a roof top terrace where you can bring some drinks and food and relax.

I wish the air conditioner in the room did not point at the bed. We caught a cold from the Aircon as a result. During the night it's very noisy outside (it's the center of Athens after all) so you have to shut the window (which makes 90% of the noise go away). However, if you close the window you need the aircon.

Great location if you want to feel and hear the vibe of Athens. The room was very nice and with a cool balcony overlooking the noisy street. The hotel has an excellent rooftop terrace with views over the Acropolis. The included breakfast in the cafe across the street had great choices.

Even though we were visiting out of peak season, the noise from the street never stops, you'll need a good apir of earplugs if you plan to sleep.

The rooftop patio is a MUST! It has an amazing view of the Acropolis and is very comfortable. The location is within an easy walk of the train station, Acropolis, bars and restaurants. The restaurant, Zoubourlou (Ζουμπουρλού) was AMAZING.

The only downside was the breakfast was only available from 8:30-12 which was too late for most of the tours I'd had booked with a meeting time of 8am.

The location of Pame House was perfect for all attractions, bars and restaurants. Breakfast was in a small cafe not far from the hotel, food was good. The rooftop area was nice for view of acropolis and to get away from the busy street below.

Hotel is on a narrow street and just a doorway into corridor, taxi driver couldn't find it, fortunately we spotted the name on the door ! Rooms are on 6/7 floors and lift could only sensibly accommodate 1 person with suitcases, so be prepared for stairs !

PAME is situated at walking distance from most tourist attractions in Athens, in a neighborhood that has a very active night life. There is indeed a lot of "noise" (mostly live traditional music from terraces, which I find relaxing) outside until late night but the rooms are very well noise isolated and closing the balcony door basically mutes the noise. The beds are very comfortable. There is a big rooftop terrace where you can bring your own food and drinks and enjoy them with a view to the Acropolis. It's surprisingly not crowded at any time and it's also illuminated at night. Access in the building and inside the rooms is done with a pin code, which I find very good because it takes the worry of losing the keys off your chest. There are lots of nice places to eat and drink nearby. The staff is very nice and will happily help you with any request. They also reply quickly to both phone and email/messages. Room cleaning is done very well.
