Staff member started copying my credit card mumber by hand on paper, which is illegal in EU: In the EU, it's generally illegal for a business to copy a credit card number without explicit authorization and consent from the cardholder. This practice is considered a serious crime, and businesses could face penalties such as fines and imprisonment. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) further strengthens data protection, requiring businesses to handle credit card information securely and with the consent of the cardholder. 

Room was clean and spacious for 4 of us. Bed was comfy and the location was right off Ermou street which is the main shopping street. Also close to 2 metro stations but would be nice if really close to just one as have to walk maybe 7 minutes to either one. Was also not noisy as the restaurants below did not have live music which can get really really loud so all in all, an excellent place to stay!

toilet is nice and big but would be nice with brighter lighting and more hooks and shelves for clothes and towels. but the housekeeping is very good and provided many clean towels throughout our stay

Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel in Athens! Stayed there over the weekend with a friend and the location is unbeatable-right next to the main shopping street and close to all the central sights. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; when I needed a pharmacy and it was closed, the receptionist herself kindly gave me paracetamol (much appreciated!). Our room was spacious, clean, had all the amenities we needed, plus a super cute balcony that we didn't even expect to have but were very happy to see! Highly recommend for anyone visiting Athens!

Vol. 5 apartments are very centrally located making it a great base to explore Athens from. The apartment was very well equipped, the bed, couch and pillows were all very comfortable and the shower was excellent. The apartment is also generously sized and made a great base for a 4 day stay. The staff were also very friendly and helpful and the communication in the lead up to my booking was excellent.

Being in the centre of Athens it was a little noisy at night, but I still managed to sleep through it and the noise was far outweighed by the convenience and price (compared to other accommodation options I looked at).

EVERYTHING! An amazing hotel in the middle of Athens - a few meters away from the shopping district and very close to the Acropolis. So clean, So comfortable, So welcoming - add the staff which are also very polite and courteous and you get a winning hotel! Super Recommended!!!

The room was very nice and big and very central to explore Athens. You can walk everywhere in the centre from there.

I wanted to book a hotel but found out only later that reception is only open from 9 to 5 pm, which may complicate things with later arrivals and when you need to leave luggage; although they waited and I arrived around midnight and check in without problems. The apartment is a bit noisy, there can be some noise from the street; also bed was not very comfortable, a bit on the soft side.

Apartment is clean, spacious and right near the main shopping and eating street. Reception lady is extremely helpful (though she is only there from 9 to 5.)

Lift is only available from first floor reception and so you have to lug your bags up a significant number of marble stairs. There is also quite a bit of noise from the street.

The friendliness and the flexibility of the staff! The design, the amenities, and the location were also great. We greatly enjoyed our room's colours and vibe and immediately felt welcome. Location-wise, everything is within walking distance. It won't disappoint anyone visiting Athens

Unfortunately, it's SUPER loud. Our 2-night stay (Friday and Saturday) was maybe party days but the windows are not that soundproof apparently (and we're not light sleepers). This is the only reason I'm not planning to return although everything else was excellent at this hotel. I've stayed in many hotels/apartments in Ermou street but it's been the first time it was so loud.

The room was very big and very comfortable the bed was superb. The building certainly is beautiful and very clean.

The breakfast was a little disappointing. The coffee was the worst coffee I've had in a long while. Big surprise in a place like Greece The coffee in the room was much better though it was one of those wasteful pod machines that I'm not very familiar with so I messed up a couple of them, it doesn't hurt to leave instructions. The people in the room next to us struggled with the heating and again, instructions would be helpful.

The location and cleanliness are on another level, the staff were super nice and helpful. It was way beyond our expectations, also the products available in the bathroom are top notch. And the roof terrasse is very nice and cozy.

The steep staircase should be noted as it’s a bit inconvenient when carrying the bags.
