The view from the hotel restaurant, hotel pool and from the beach is incredible. Our room had side view to the sea, which is not so perfect but you could still enjoy the sea from the balcony. When weather is nice then the view and sea presence is everything, breakfast and dinner can be enjoyed on the small terrace, also the hotel bar operates in the same place. We had both breakfast and dinner, both are served as self catering, food was pretty good. Dinner is somewhat simplistic, nothing fancy but in general good. Staff is very helpful and polite, thank you guys! Hotel beach has small gravel and sand mixture, not 100% ideal but nothing to worry about. Sea gets deep after 10m, if you go left ~150m then it is not so steep. Hotel beach has sunbeds, 4EUR per 2 sunbeds for a day. We were with a car and hotel does not provide parking but you can left the car by the hotel, there is two grass areas (place for ~12 cars), plus you can park along the road to the beach. We did not have any problems with parking. The main street of the town is in 100m, full on shops, bars, restaurants, anything, very active life there. Small kitchen corner in the room, plates, cups, pots/pans, cutlery, seemed pretty complete. Room has air conditioner, we did not use it as the outside temperature was 22-24 during our visit but definitely a big plus with warmer season.

Our room had a big electrical transformer nearby, it is only the view to the town side but still. I read other booking.com user reviews and several of them have had the same room with this transformer nearby. I would recommend to take full sea view room, if possible. In general the room was ok, though small problems here and there. Beds were ok, though the linen felt kind of plastic. Hotel bar drinks selection is limited. Could be more different beers and wider selection of strong alcohol. Cocktails are quite light, may need personal tuning to get it right. Dinner does not include drink, after some time it starts to disturb.

Stayed as a family (with a 7&9 year old) in one of the apartments. It was the end of the season but still pretty busy. They upgraded our apartment to a sea view when we arrived which was a great! Location is ideal right on a nice sandy beach and also a good sized-pool overlooking it (which in October was a little too cold to swim in though) but the sea was still a lovely temperature. It's also a touristy area (which we wanted) with lots of options for shops and restaurants right on the doorstep. You can also get a local bus to Chania old town pretty much right outside on the main road. We went for the half board option as thought it would be easier with the kids. The restaurant was good and differing options for the buffet every night. Food was good, not exceptional, but it was a buffet after all so no complaints. We also rented a car for a day to explore a little and head down the west coast which was super easy to do and lots of places offering cheap(ish) rentals. The apartment itself is in need or a little refurbishment but cant complain as the price was good for four people on half board, plus it had a huge balcony as well. Would definitely recommend for a family getaway.

The staff weren't too friendly. Not sure if it was because it was the end of the season and the hotel was about to close for 5 months or if it was just the staff themselves. Definitely not all, some were nice, smiley and engaging, others seemed to have a moody face on a lot of the time and were very disengaging.

I had an incredible experience staying at this hotel! The location is good, just steps away from the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the sun and sea. The room was very well-equipped, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including amenities and a cozy atmosphere. The hotel’s breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of options to start the day right. I also tried the restaurant for lunch, and the food was excellent. Both the quality and service exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable stay near the beach!

The location on the beach is fantastic. Also close to mainroad and busstop. The hotel outside area was beautiful. Pool nice size and was unusually deep, which we liked. Breakfast ok. Our room had two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Nice to have a second bathroom! Rooms spacious with high ceiling. Not very modern furniture, but beds comfy enough. Balcony a bit narrow for 5 people, but nice view! We had some lunches in our appartment and the kitchenette worked fine.

The kitchen /seating area was vey small. Small window, no ac. It was not a nice room, and as family we could not really hangout togheter inside if we didnt sit by the kitchen table. The kitchenarea was also supposed to be the extra bedroom (with the sofabed) but could not be used as such. We moved the matress into one of the bedrooms. Very few sunbeds by the pool, less than 20. The were "reserved" by 07:30. Hotel should have some system for this. Sunbeds on beach at a cost.

I really liked the facilities, the staff was always welcoming and kind. They had advice to give all the time (with the taxi and car rent service for example). The cleaning was exceptional. The flats had all to cook too, even if we enjoyed trying the Greek cousine (we suggest the restaurant-tavernai Avrofiliton close to the hotel where Caterina and her staff will spoil you lots). Thanks to Indigo Mare staff, especially to Chrysa, Roxani and Vera. We enjoyed a lot our stay. We are 2 adults and a kid of 5.

Great location, right on the beach and close to plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. We had a wonderful seaview and the room was basic but clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Really liked the look of the hotel grounds. Rooms laid out almost like individual apartments or small houses. Well kept planting.

The pool area was quite small but due to the proximity to the beach this wasn't too much of an issue. The bar closed quite early at 10pm, but this might suit families with smaller children as it was quiet at night.

Nestled in the beachside front row, the hotel allows easy access to both the swimming pool and showers. The sandy and pebbled beach is a perfect match for families with children. The receptionists consistently demonstrated exceptional friendliness, always willing to aid and offer advice whenever we sought information or assistance. Our apartment was equipped with a kitchen featuring a highly efficient refrigerator.

Unfortunately, because of inadequate rules, individuals left their swimming mattresses in the pool, resulting in significant inconvenience. The breakfast remained unchanged every day, and after several days of consuming baked eggs, you might find yourself mimicking a rooster's crow. Our apartment was equipped with a kitchen, however it was quite small and inconvenient for cooking.

Staff were super friendly, especially the cleaning team, and the location cannot be beaten. Close to everything but quiet. Restaurant prices reasonable. Overall an acceptable stay but may check out other properties next time.

To be honest everyone raves about the breakfast but we found it to be a bit lacklustre. It didn't live up to expectations. Units are pretty tired. They give you a kitchenette but absolutely no washing liquid, sponges or even a tea towel, so if we were to eat in our room (or wash up from our infant's snacks/bottles) how were we meant to? Ended up buying our own.

The hotel is perfectly placed right on the beach. There are sunbeds to use for free round the pool and on the private area of the beach yards from the sea. You can lie in a sunbed by the pool and look out into the sea- paradise! The restaurant and bar with lots of tables/ chairs even sofas, are right on the front so can eat or drink and look out into sea. Breakfast is included and is buffet style with something for everyone, from pastries to Greek yoghurt, honey and fruit, continental and cooked- there's even freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and will bring your drinks to you round the pool or bar. Rooms are clean and spacious. The manager goes out of his way to make you feel welcome; we ate at the restaurant a few nights and watched the sunset- the food was delicious and the manager gave us some backlava. Honestly can't recommend this hotel enough. The hotel is yards away from the main strip with supermarkets, bars restaurants and the bus stop - you should definitely jump the bus into Chania town €3 return takes 15 mins beautiful harbour and old town with shops, bars restaurants, museum, boat trips.. the only thing I can say is that sometimes we could hear noise from upstairs from bathroom/ furniture but find that in most places. All in all, a beautiful location and outstanding service! Thanks.

Nothing!!

The pool is nice, and the beach. Good for a family. The breakfast quite good, nice to have breakfast watching at the sea. Nice flowers around the hotel premises, and a lot of cats. A lot of restaurants nearby.

The hotel is pretty much basic, nothing that special. Rooms are a bit worn down and basic, for me the price is too much for what you get. The thing I liked the least was the fact that there aren't too many sun chairs, and people come out to reserve them with their towels 7 am in the morning. I think the hotel should collect these towels away, so that the quests could use the chairs which stand empty for hours because of the towel reservations. So get up before the breakfast to reserve your chair with a towel if u want to use one.
