The view was very fascinating and the staff were very friendly and always trying to ensure that we are having a comfortable stay to the fullest. The interior is very comfortable and elegant. The lights makes the room very cozy. The hotel offers a free transfer to Fira almost every hour which was very nice and considerate.

The hotel has breathtaking views on offer where you can watch sunset on your own balcony. Privacy largely depends on which room you get. Our room was at the end…so it was quite private. But we walked past a number of balconies where privacy may be an issue. Whilst the location is only 5 min car ride…walking it anytime of the day in August is too hot. The hotel does provide a shuttle to Fira town which is great; but be aware that it’s only at specific times back and forth. And transfers/taxis on Santorini are rather expensive. Our 5 min ride back to hotel from town cost us 20 Euro.

Breakfast buffet is very limited only offering meats, tomatoes, cucumbers and pastries. My wife cannot eat dairy…so it was some veggies and fried eggs every day. She tried to request an omelette but they don’t offer anything beyond what is served. Overall service was inconsistent. Drivers and front desk team were friendly but restaurant team were not.

We had the Honeymoon Suite, the view was amazing. It was the perfect location to wind down and relax after travelling 9 weeks around Europe. Pool area was magnificent to relax during the day.

Room was awesome. Our suggestion to staff as they asked for our feed back that a magnified/shaving mirror would be great in the bathroom. A little more attention to daily housekeeping needed we had to ask for face towels & tissues not replaced a couple of times. The breakfast was great, but we were annoyed that we had to pay for a second coffee (we were told only one coffee per person allowed for breakfast). Accomodation is very expensive in this hotel we feel unlimted coffee should be included!!

overall great experience the staff are fantastic so nice and helpful. The view of the Caldera is unreal which is excellent for sunset. Breakfast is good but could do with some additions like nice fresh fruit salads, after 7 days it is a bit repetitive.

You are reliant on Taxis if you don’t have a car to go to other areas if staying outside of Fira. They have a shuttle bus that goes to Fira every few hours which is free. Taxis are expensive and not metered normally between 20-30 euro per ride for a 8-10 minute Trip. We had a hot tub outside on our balcony which was great but don’t expect full privacy due to the nature of the layout of rooms built into a cliff.

The views are unreal, soo beautiful!! Staff all so lovely, the ladies working on the reception especially, they couldn’t do enough for us and helped us with booking trips and even hired a quad bike for us and had it delivered to hotel, which was great so we didn’t waste any time trying to find a company ourselves. We stayed in a room with a hot tub with the same amazing view, room was modern and bed comfy! The restaurant also overlooks the caldera, the food was great, we had breakfast every day and had lunch a couple of times and always had a delicious meal. The pool area is my favourite part of the hotel, same stunning views, infinitely with the most comfiest double beds! There is also a bigger pool for a little swim and a good size hot tub, all overlooking the view. The hotel is very clean, great location only a few mins drive from fira (the hotel have a regular free shuttle bus which is great if you don’t have your own transport) we would highly recommend this hotel! Just trying to work out when we can go back :) thank you so much Lilium and your amazing staff for making our 10 year anniversary trip even more special than we’d hoped it would be!!

I actually can’t think of anything we really had the most perfect stay!

Our room with hot tub and caldera view was fantastic. Spacious room with amazing view, I loved waking up in the morning, opening the shutters and looking out of the window at the view out to sea. Breakfast was great as was food in the restaurant for lunch/dinner. Shuttle bus to Fira was great. We loved the pool/sunbeds. Very friendly staff especially Constantina and Katrina in Reception, nothing was too much trouble for these lovely ladies.

Being very picky as the hotel was excellent but the hot tub could have been slightly hotter but we still used it every day and in no way did it detract from our fab experience.

The images on booking.com are outdated and not the same. Our room and hot tub were a lot smaller than the picture. When we told the staff, they were not helpful, told us photos we showed them are old photos and said we can down-grade to a standard room ,which is apparently bigger than the one with hot tub, without refunding us the difference between the 2 rooms, and there other option was for us to cancel the booking and find another hotel. Which of-course makes no sense considering we were in our honeymoon.

The pool area was meticulously maintained, offering a tranquil setting to relax and soak in the breathtaking views. The hotel's location is also ideal, providing a peaceful retreat away from the bustling crowds, yet still within easy reach of popular attractions and restaurants. It strikes a perfect balance between seclusion and convenience. In conclusion, I highly recommend the Lilium Hotel for anyone seeking a truly exceptional experience in Santorini.

Beautiful views of Sunset from our balcony. A very convenient shuttle facility to the town. Great restaurant food quality.

The property is excellent, but the Greek tourism lacks warmth. We were disappointed as our flight to Athens was cancelled by Aegean Airlines due to strike, and no arrangements were made for us.. Left with no choice, we had to cut short our Santorini stay by one day and take an 8 hour long ferry ride out of Santorini to Athens. This had happened in 2020 as well during Covid, and then too Aegean had refused to refund the tickets. The national carrier isn't very tourist friendly. The Greek tourism needs to mature like the Swiss and Scandinavian to be more tourist-centric.
