The room and the facilities of the hotel were great.

We asked to use the pool since the weather was beautiful and it hadn’t rained yet and we booked the hotel because of the pool. First it was not possible and the staff was also not willing to let us cancel to find a hotel that did offer an operation pool. After an hour when we walked in the lobby a group of 4 staff were talking and looking at us and all of a sudden we were told we were allowed to use the pool at own risk. This felt uncomfortable, being talked about like this amongst all staff. It did spoil the experience of staying in a luxury hotel, which is a pity because everything else was great.

- Very nice, spacious and comfortable rooms. - Very attentive staff - Very good breakfast with local dishes - Big and rather quiet swimming pool although the hotel was full - Electric vehicle charging spot in the spacious parking lot - Although there was a big wedding reception on a Saturday evening, there was no disturbance for the hotel guests - The gym has all basic instruments and in good quality in a spacious room

- Extra charge for coffee types beyond filter coffee at breakfast - 20-25 minute walk from the city centre. However, this offers tranquillity, ample parking space and a taxi ride costs only 4€

We simply adore The Lake Hotel! Every time we stay here we experience a new level of top class hospitality! Superbly clean and comfortable place with crystal clear swimming pool and beautifully designed surrounding park! As we traveled with our 4 cats we decided to stay at their comfy suite. This suite is just perfect, featuring super comfy bed, nicely furnished living room, real wooden flooring, large balcony covered in quality stone tiles overlooking the Ioannina lake. I especially like their marble bathroom with a jacuzzi type bath that gave me so much needed relaxation after a long road trip and prior to another! Before leaving we asked if a local vet could come to our suite to check up our cats, and the hotel management replied: “Of course they can, we are a 100% pet friendly hotel! The vet has a small clinic in walkable distance to the hotel, if you travel with your pets, this is so good to know! Both the receptionists are lovely ladies, the young waiters at the restaurant are unbelievably professional and kind while the chef is a maestro!!! Just book it, this hotel is a gem!!!

The property is perfect, nothing to dislike!

We only stayed for one night before our trip to Pappigo so we didn’t experience all of the hotel, like the pool for example But the room was VERY SPACIOUS with VERY HIGH CEILINGS big bathroom Wood floor! Small sitting area Window screen so insects can’t fly in when you leave the window open! Nice breakfast although they can improve coffee quality & marmalades ( way to sweet and off the shelf ! Why not utilize this region’s amazing homemade products instead? ) Location few minutes away from airport and few more to the city center , 40 min away from Acheron river springs! This place is great value ! We will come back most likely!

The Lake hotel is a spacious, modern conference hotel near the lake, but without direct lake views as a grandstand for rowing events hides it from the hotel pool. Rooms are large, with sizeable terraces, and the bathrooms are finished in polished marble. Ours had both shower and bathtub, and there were two bathrobes, always welcome. Overall, the hotel is rather cool and anonymous in feel, but there are unexpected decorative details: wooden ceilings with painted panels; and the staff are cheerful and helpful, if not always totally on the ball. Room rates are good out of season, so this is a nice place to rest after travelling around the northwest of Greece.

I can't think of anything in particular, other than that the hot breakfast foods could be a little less soaked in fat.

We just loved staying at The Lake Hotel! The rooms are spacious and have all the facilities, including tea/coffee (no machine), a little fridge, bath robes, and slippers. Cleaning in the rooms and in the hotel in general was spotless. The food, both breakfast and dinner, was excellent, special thank you to the Chef. The hotel staff was very helpful and polite at all times. Our special appreciation and thank you to the reception lady Anthia. What an exceptional and devoted employee! We had a great pleasure communicating with her and her assistance was just outstanding!! We would definitely return and recommend this hotels to all our friends visiting Ioannina.

The only thing we would add is a shower curtain or a shade. Also looking forward to some spa services which might be a great value to this wonderful hotel

This hotel offers  the finest level of hospitality  and professionalism. Every time we staying at the Lake hotel we feel so papered and appreciated! First of all, Anthi at the reception is a true angel. The hotel’s lovely atmosphere, beautiful facilities, rooms and suites with the breathtaking view will steal your heart! All the compliments to the manager who does a great job here! We had an issue with a mixup with the suite reservation so we got a downgrade to a (still wonderful room). However, the manager treated us to a 5 star dinner that requires a special review. The hotel recently changed the chef and this was a superb surprise! The dinner was something every gourmet oriented person would appreciate! The chef did a virtuous twist to traditional Greek dishes with style and artistic attention to details! Just pure perfection! The hotel is pet friendly and still extremely clean and tidy! The pool is breathtaking! We are definitely staying here again! You should not think twice, book this hotel and be pleasantly surprised. Special thanks to the lovely Chrysa at the restaurant!

Wonderful room. Comfortable bed. Professional staff.

The management needs to pay more attention to its individual guests. We understand that the hotel is aimed towards groups but the dining room spaces are also set up for large groups. Very uncomfortable trying to find a single table. We stay often and this is becoming a problem to the extent we now go out of the hotel for dining.

The Lake House is a nice little hotel located outside the city, quite near the airport, with a decent size parking lot and car charging stations for electric vehicles. While it was too cold to use the pool, it looked as if it would be fun during the summer. The room was clean and relatively spacious, as these things go, and the breakfast and staff were excellent. We were allowed to bring our small dog, and this was very convenient for us. I can actually say that the staff, as is usually the case, made our stay very pleasant. They were always friendly and smiling, and always available to assist. My family and I thank them for our pleasant and comfortable stay.

Our only significant complaint is about the poor sound insulation, especially regarding the balcony door. The hotel is fairly new so we assume that it is a matter of shoddy workmanship. In any case we could hear everything outside as if was almost next to us, and is a possible reason that we may choose to stay elsewhere next time we are in Ioannina. Or maybe not, as we did like everything else about our stay.

The view of the pool, lake and hill from the restaurant is lovely. The bed was comfortable. We had debated about staying in the middle of the city or the Lake Hotel, and are so glad we chose here. Parking was much easier, and it was away from the chaos of the city centre. The breakfast was delightful, with many choices for those that like Greek or American dishes. We had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed everything we ordered, including their creative specialty cocktails.
