• Due to miscommunication, I ended up booking Room 34 which only had one window, compared to the other apartments which had two windows and hence, more natural sunlight. ROOM TIP: Book rooms that end with “1” as these have a corner balcony that faces both sides. • One cornered staircase before you get to the elevators. • No human receptionist.

We enjoyed the stay, location and the room. It was very clean and comfortable. The view was great. In general we liked all of the details about the room.

We didn't like that there is no cleaning room service included in the price, even changing towels. We stayed for 3 nights which was fine, but for somebody whose stay is over 3 or 4 days it wouldn't be nice to have the same towels.

I think the Raise Kornarou is very well located: very close to the pedestrian area of the city centre and easy to get there by bus, car or taxi. The electronic way to get in is easy and well explained. The mini-apartment is newly-refurbished, clean and silent (considering the position)

Nothing to signal. Everything was fine. In my opinion, maybe a bit larger table could provide more value to the apartment and I would have added a glass door for the shower. But I´m talking about small details...

If you don't need the extra hotel amenities like breakfasts and in-person check-in, then this is exactly what you are looking for. These are short-term apartments, rather than typical hotel rooms. Ticked all my boxes. Very well-located in the centre of Heraklion, with lots of cafés/restaurants/shops around, and transport options.

As it is located in a busy area of town, the street noise can be a little loud. Kitchenette doesn't have a lot of equipment in case you are wanting to make meals there.

The apartment was in a great location and within minutes walking you can reach the major sights and Venetian port of Heraklion. The bus stop is just a minute away from the apartment and it can take you to Knossos palace or Heraklion Airport in 20 minutes or so. Nearby cafes and restaurants are abudant. There is a nice balcony with view to the square. We really appriciated the sound-proofing of the apartment. Apartment had everything we needed, even a small kitchenette. Beds were comfy and the place was neat!

Would have been nice to have more coffee pods available, otherwise everything was nice! :)

This place is on the edge of the tourist area, which actually makes parking easier. Everything is just around the corner, and there’s a car park right across the street. All parts of the city is walkable from this place. We received a code to enter both the building and the room, and it worked perfectly. The place was comfortable and clean.

It can be a bit noisy at certain times of the day, but it's quiet at night. There’s no elevator, but the room we stayed in was on the first floor.

- Super clean - Short distance from Heraklion Airport and also super short walk into Heraklion (1-2 minutes) - Good communication via Booking.com App - Perfect for work from anywhere (strong WiFi + Desk with space and city view) - Also perfect for couples/singles that don’t focus on having breakfast/lunch in the hotel but rather enjoy being outside

Good sized room and clean/ new - great location - taxi rank and bus stop just outside. All facilities in close proximity. I would stay again.

Things to improve - change of towels (especially in summer) - Wi-Fi for our room didn’t work connected to another but still was not great. Quite a few stairs - could have been a problem - checked booking then carried my hairdryer there to find in room and an iron. Maybe make this clearer at time of booking. Maybe a little bit high priced as hotel room next door was about the same with breakfast included. No complaints !! Just giving you feed back 😑

I recently booked a studio for a short holiday, and it was a great experience. The studio was modern and clean, with all the amenities I needed. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Although the balcony didn’t offer a particularly nice view, the central location more than made up for it. Close to attractions, restaurants, and the sea. Overall, highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a prime location!

I stayed at Raise Kornarou in Heraklio for 7 nights. Location Positives: Fantastic, Its right in the centre of town. Everything you could possibly need, restaurants, coffee shops, transport links is all just a few mins away. The Airport public bus stops just 5mins away from this hotel. There is a port just a few mins away but it's not used for swimming. I remember running down this port and just breathing in the fresh air. It’s about a 2.5km route from the start of the port to the end. So a 5km round trip for you joggers or walkers out there, if you fancy some exercise whilst on holiday. Negatives: The nearest managed beach is about 5km away. There is a public bus that goes there from the hotel. The elevator starts from the 1st floor. So if your room is on the 2nd or 3rd floors then you need to carry your bag up the stairs to the 1st floor before you can use the elevator. This wasn’t a big deal for me, but someone older might struggle carrying their luggage up one flight of stairs to reach the elevator. Room Positives: Fantastic! Its large, clean and spacious. My shower was also large with a large rainfall showerhead. The room had amenities like Air-Con, a TV, hairdryer, Ironing board, clothes hangers. It also had a small kitchen which included a sink, plates and cutlery, a Toaster/sandwich maker, Kettle, Nespresso (coffee) machine with pods, an electric stove, fridge, dish soap and a sponge. We didn’t really use the kitchen, as we ate out every day but the cutlery and plates came in handy on a few occasions where we brought home dessert to eat on the balcony. There was a table with 2 chairs in the room and another table with 2 chairs in the balcony. We enjoyed chilling in the balcony with a drink each morning. The bed and pillows where comfortable for me and everything was very clean. I was very happy with how new and clean everything was. Negatives: None! You will not be disappointed.
