Property was clean and fresh, views were amazing. Host Dafni was intent on making our stay enjoyable and ensuring we had everything we needed. Cleaner came in daily to empty bins, change towels and bedding. The beautiful beach was across the road and took around 10 minutes to get there. You can get a bus across the road to Agios Nikolaos, a 15 minute ride cost €2. A lovely place with a marina and shops and amazing views and restaurants

To get the amazing view you had to climb a couple of ramps and many steps, which in the blazing heat was not much fun. Also had to climb steps or hills to get back up from the beach. This location would not suit disabled person

The view: Fantastic. The location: close to two beaches, walking distance to restaurants and supermarket. Staff: very friendly, accommodating and helpful Windows: Mosquito nets were installed on windows which was very helpful, we had no mosquito. Parking: Free parking at the place and always a parking lot was available during our stay. Kitchen: Small yet fairly well equipped one. We managed to make one dinner after long drive.

Shower: There are no shower doors and whole bathroom would be flooded by the first person for the second one if you’re a couple. Living room: the sofa could be bigger and cosier. Storage: There was only one small closet for two people. Specially for us, we stayed over a week. Bedroom: Mattress was too soft.

My partner and I had a lovely one-week stay at Istron Homes in their maisonette apartment. It had exceptional views and we had three balconies to choose from. The apartment was super clean and comfortable. It was easy to walk down to Voulisma beach and Istron's restaurants & supermarkets. It was also easy to get a bus or taxi to Agios Nikolaos for the evening. Daphne was super helpful & responsive to any questions I had. There is a main road that runs close to the apartment but it didn't bother us at all. I would 100% recommend Istron Homes - thank you Daphne for such a wonderful stay.

This perfectly located apartment (we have been upgraded to a Maisonnette) has a fully equipped kitchen, gorgeous views on the sea, cozy terraces and modern design furnitures. The staff - particularly the house keeping - have been radiant with hospitality and kindness. The beach is 8 min by food away.

The check in process didn’t run terribly smoothly and some small things (like the broken insect nets at the window and toilet seat) could benefit from a little attention.

It's I belive everything as a whole. It is a wonderful location. It's very clean. Host is extremely helpful. It's Greece 😁. This apartment has it all. Very comfortable. We were with the three of us. Beds are great, big bathroom, kitchen with everything one needs. Surrounding is stunning. Not to mention Voulossima beach nearby which is just a few clicks away. For anyone staying there, please take care of that wonderful cat called Boukitsa (small bite).

Absolutely nothing.

Excellent location and beautiful views for our three week stay. We had Superior Apartment (No 14) which was had everything we needed. Dafni, our host, was very accommodating throughout our time here. Housekeeper visiting each day was appreciated (towels and bedding changed every few days). We had a hire car and enjoyed visiting places such as Sitia, Kathara Plateau, Kritsa, Lasith Plateau, Mochlos and Myrtos . Went Agios Nicholas once by car and once by bus (parking was an issue on our first visit). Local beaches were lovely but steep paths to access. We used the beach at the nearby Istron Bay Hotel (€15 per day for two loungers and towels) as it had easier access and we could get lunch at their beach area restaurant. Walking into Istro for dinner was nice. We ate at MeRaki on several occasions. Also had an anniversary lunch at Macrame by Voulisma which was excellent. Supported local supermarkets for our everyday provisions for the apartment.

No problems with the property.

Istron Homes is amazing. When you navigate the road, the parking and the stairs you will be rewarded with a spectacular view. We had the 2 bedroom apartment. It is a modern apartment, very clean with a well equipped kitchen. It has 3 balconies. We ate our breakfast each morning on the large main balcony. The location is excellent. It's a short drive to Agios Nikolaos but you are away from hustle of the city. You can walk to the nearby beach. Daphne is a wonderful host. She gave us lots of useful information about the area.

Very nice place. Accommodations are well equiped, very clean, comfortable with great views on the sea. Parking in the property. The kitchen was well equiped too. There is a amazing beach 5 minutes walk from the appartement.

We loved our stay. Dafni messaged us from soon after booking, and kept in touch until we arrived. She met us on our arrival to show us around the property, giving us a free upgrade to a maisonette. The property was just as described, clean and tidy, with everything we needed. There’s a reasonable sized fridge/freezer to store good quantities of food and drink The view is AMAZING! Within 10/15 minutes walking distance of beach, tavernas and supermarkets via a path along the road.

The apartments are above a busy road, so traffic noise can be heard when sat on the balcony, but do you get used to it. One of the wooden stair treads needs repairing for safety, as it is split and is unsettling, as it moves when trodden on.

Istron Homes appts are perfect in everything, from location, proximity to the beautiful Voulisma beach, cleanness and comfort to the friendly and welcomming staff. We LOVED the view so much it was heart-breaking to leave. Would definitely choose the same host for our next visit to Crete.

A washing machine would’ve been great but it’s a nice-to-have thing, not a must-have.
