Hotel and its environs were lovely: modern, with gardens and adjoining pool area. Location was on the the beach road, so you can sit on the restaurant terrace at breakfast or dinner, looking out to sea, and with views of the mountains. Room was very comfortable, and excellent AC. The adjoining leisure complex has a great outdoor pool, with seating and pool-bar service. Staff were very friendly. Excellent food. The hotel is at the edge of Kalamata, you can walk along the promenade to the port area, where there are many restaurants and bars. There are closer beach-bars - some right next to the hotel.

It is a 2km walk to the port area, and 4km to the historic town centre. Keeps you fit. There are many taxis.

Exceptional service by the staff. This was my second stay at Elite and yet again was very impressed. Filanthi and the entire wait staff are always welcoming with nothing ever being a problem. Vasili, the barista makes the best latte I have had in Greece. The reception staff and in particular Pari made some great suggestions for places to visit in the region. They organised my taxis and the experience was the highlight of my trip. Don’t miss a visit to the spa retreat. Lena is an excellent therapist whose massages and facials had me going back for more! A fantastic way to cap off a beautiful day at this resort. Thank you Elite!

As I tend to have long stays, I would like to see more variety in the breakfast menu.

Location, staff professionalism and warmth with kindness. Georgia and her entire staff appeared when we were checking in to welcome us. A courtesy upgrade to a beautiful room was greatly appreciated. Giorgos the parking security officer continues to welcome all guests with warmth and kindness. The you all for another exceptional vacation

Lovely location right on the beach in Kalamata, very attentive staff, very clean. There are a casual and an a la cart restaurant, both excellent. Also a special mention for the small but excellent spa. I was very sore from tennis plus flights. Lena gave me a fantastic sports massage. Thank you! Overall, great hotel, we will be back.

No issues

There was a good choice of breakfast foods but we would have liked some more fresh produce (fruits) to have been on offer. It was great having the bar by the pool but we found it a little hard to get the bar staff's attention, but when we did the service was good.

Our room was a little small with the additional child's bed in it, but we made it work! Our daughter wanted to visit the playground but when we tried to get in we found it locked, which was a shame.

The breakfast was great as usual. There was lots of choices to choose from. Something for everyone. Would defiantly recommend this hotel to a friend. I’ve been staying at the elite with my family for many years, and will Continue to do so.

I’d say the selection of fruit can defiantly improve. In the past the fruits were available as a whole. This time the fruit was precut and placed into individual servings.

Facilities especially swimming pool. Massage in hotel spa was great.

Swimming pool attracts a lot of teenagers when schools close, which I guess it is nice for the community. However, hotel guests get no priority either for sun beds or bar service, therefore pool usage becomes compromised in the weekends. Also teenagers create a lot of unnecessary noise and mess in and around the pool that hotel staff are unable to control

A beautiful and large room at a great price. Extremely helpful staff throughout!!

Sadly if you don't stay at the hotel you can't write a review. There were more than 10 other rooms booked by our friends at the same hotel and they were all cancelled within a week of their stay. The got an 'upgrade' in a hotel far away from Elite that doesn't even have a beach. And of course spoiled the fun of us having them close to us, which was the plan all along. Important to note they had booked via booking.com.. The hotel lying about why that happened is also completely unacceptable and the management should be ashamed when they have such a lovely place and great staff to treat anyone like this..

The buffet breakfast offered enough to satisfy a basic breakfast. The breakfast hours were generous and dining options that were offered were indoors, and out of doors. There was a separate outdoor area which allowed smoking. Staff are helpful and attentive. The hotel is very clean on a consistent level.

The breakfast offered enough to satisfy a basic breakfast, but we did notice a significant decrease in the amount of variety of breakfast foods, such as the Greek spinach and cheese pies and there were no pancakes or waffles. We found that the egg dish items were at room temperature, which was not palatable. The variety of fresh fruit was limited and bananas were scarce. This was a buffet, self-serve breakfast and I found that many guests did not adhere to Covid-19 safety protocols. This could have been more controlled by staff.

The good impressions started with the warm welcome at the hotel entrance and the parking lot. The rooms were very clean and well airconditioned (as it was hot in Kalamata those days). The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and orthopaedic particularly useful for people with neck-back problems. The breakfast had a lot of variety. I particularly appreciated the Thessaloniki's traditional koulouria! The near beach was equipped with sunbath beds and free towels were distributed by the staff. The service (snacks, drinks etc) was excellent contributing to the comfort while enjoyed the sea. The massage at the spa was very relaxing and the therapist was extremely competent and professional. It was also very easy to book an appointment with the staff at the information desk who helped us with our many other questions about our daily trips to near by places. Something that was very impressive was how polite, kind and helpful all the staff were. During the check in there was a glitch in the process, whereby some names/rooms got mixed up but they corrected the mistake by working together (very impressive and appreciated collegiality) and made sure that everything is as we expected. Thank you for the great experience, and keep it up! :)

The only thing that stood out as a really negative experience was the mani-pedi service at the spa. I booked an appointment for a simple mani-pedi, nothing complicated. The therapist lacked the motivation but also the proper tools whereas the technique clearly needs a lot of improvement. The tools were not sanitised and I had the impression that the same tools are used to multiple customers without being disinfected; at least nothing was disinfected while I was here. It was worrying that I ended up with 6 bleeding nails thereafter. Upon my arrival to my home country, I got a doctor visit as one of my nails got infected. I encourage the hotel to review the service and to make the necessary improvements. At the moment, unfortunately I am not able to recommend the service to anyone.
