This hotel is located in Karterados, a small village very very close to Firá, the capital. You can reach this very touristic area of Santorini by foot, some 10-15 minutes walk or by bus (station nearby). The hotel itself, which has a traditional look, is nice and peaceful. Our room was really beautiful and big, very nicely decorated, very clean and very comfortable. There is a free private parking place, which is very important because you really need a rented car to make most of your stay in Santorini. Our host was extremely nice, friendly and helpful. She speaks many languages and will guide you with a good advice for everything you need. We enjoyed a lot our small vacation in Santorini and I highly recommend this hotel. Oh, and there is also a breakfast option and breakfast is good.

I am so happy, I stayed here I felt so comfortable and so safe as a woman travelling alone. It was close to a convenience store a few few places in case you're hungry in the evening or just looking for a snack and was round the corner from the bus stop. Could easily get to Kamari Beach, Oia, Fira town and more. Air-conditioning was really good in the room, easy to navigate. Breakfast every morning was lovely.  the accommodation was a really nice quiet and peaceful vibe. Also, would like to give thanks to the staff who were so so so amazing especially Evangelia who liaised with my partner to get me a beautiful bouquet and red velvet cake for my birthday!

Very well maintained and new. Very friendly and helpful staff. We even got different room on our request without any problems. Quiet location off of the mainstream tourist paths but still in close proximity to the happening places

The only thing for improvement is the breakfast procedure. It’s still the Covid process where you pre order the day before which makes it appear to be a bit greedy. A small buffet would be the more customer friendly choice. Pool opening hours only from 10am till before sunset.

We did have the superior room and it was so good. The king sided bed was super comfortable and the room was awesome. We had our own balcony with deck chairs. The pool was great to go in.

I didn’t like that the pool closed at sunset, could’ve gone for a late night swim if it didn’t. Also the shower didn’t have a door which meant water went everywhere in the bathroom but there was service daily.

We were very impressed with the hospitality of the people who worked there. The day of the checkout we had to wait until 9pm to catch our flight and we were allowed to use the facilities of the hotel as if we were still checked in. Thank you so much for being so understanding and accommodating! Overall our stay was very comfortable and we had everything we could have asked for. The hotel is a bit further out of the Fira centre but easily accessible by foot within 15 mins. The swimming pool area is compact and cute. All staff members we met were extremely friendly and welcoming, a huge plus for us. Good value for money overall!

As the swimming pool space is compact, people would come and hang out outside our room on the second floor balcony, sometimes talking very loudly before 9am. Perhaps breakfast options could be a bit more fun.

The team at the Nikolas hotel were bloody amazing! Even though we landed in Santorini way too early, the staff were accomodating and watched our bags while we explored the island. The information that the staff provided regarding Santorini was also so helpful and they were keen to assist in sorting out transport etc. The room was also very modern and the pool is a great way to refresh. Comfortable bed.

The only negative we found was the bathroom was on the smaller side and no screen/shower curtain did make it easy to flood the bathroom but the hotel provided more than enough towels to fix this.

The room is spacious. The deco is very cute. The staff was lovely. We had a private balcony which was a plus. Easy access to food and beverage options despite the hotel not having a restaurant. The breakfast is very decent. The yogurt was the best we tried in Greece. Nice Greek coffee. walking distance to Fira if you’re willing to stroll for 20-25 min (we did it)

The bed. I cannot highlight enough how uncomfortable the mattress was. Desperately in need of replacement. Despite being huge, which was potentially a plus. The pool is a bit too shady as it is in the middle of the hotel and a bit sunk from the surrounding building.

Close to restaurants and shops. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

The shower did not have a door. Bathroom floor was soaked after every shower. There are no screens on the windows or doors so mosquitos would get inside if we opened them to let the breeze in. Breakfast is very limited.

Staff was really nice and welcoming. The hotel has a very nice swimming pool, good WiFi and big free parking. Also the location is really good to enjoy Fira area. The staff was flexible for check out time giving us a little bit of time to enjoy our last day in the island and inside his pool.

Rooms and specially the bathrooms are small. Is almost impossible to not throw water on the floor when taking a bath.
