We really enjoyed the rooms, hotel layout, good facilities, very quiet and clean. Rooms were very nice and discrete, beds were comfortable and bathrooms were really nice. Great staff at the restaurant, bar, especially the ones serving breakfast. Amazing breakfast and food served at the pool, the breakfast selection was suited for all tastes. The pool bar was really nice too, drinks were great. Kudos to the employees! Staff everywhere was exemplary

The reception could use a refresh and a redesign as it wasn’t the best first impression - doesn’t reflect the quality of the hotel. Most importantly, the gym needs to be reorganised, it is not really a gym of a 5 star hotel. Too small and very old equipment, most of them could not be used. Unfortunately it is not clean at all. Water should be available for people using the gym, but most importantly wipes and sanitiser. Another issue is the beach - normally you should get beds and umbrellas for free as an Alia guest. But once we arrived, there were no places available as all are rented to other people (we waited almost 2h to get 2 beds)

We like the hotel very much, location is exceptional, you oversea the city and the sea, the infinity pools are great, Very friendly stuff, helpful and professional.

We pay for nice sea view, but the view we got was blocked partially with another villa in front. The room was too small and not confortable for 3, and no closets. The AC was not adjustable for temperature and blowing right in the bed, because of the room size. The cold water pressure was so low so we could take a shower and not to be burned from the hot water, until we react and was fixed. But the question remains why was the cold water adjusted before we arrived. Also the shower gel was not filled until we react. These are rather small things but it's 5 star hotel and are important. We might come back again, but hopefully without these issues.

The views from this hotel are breathtaking. I couldn't get over the view and there are two infinity pools at the hotel which are ideal for pictures. The hotel is up on a hill with a view of the village, the sea and the second Halkidiki peninsula as well as incredible sunset views at nighttime. The hotel buffet is very well presented, and at most tastes delicious. Lots of choice and variety as well. Reasonable times for this too. There are spa facilities at the hotel and we were able to take advantage of that at a short notice which was a lovely change from other places that need weeks of notice. The staff are friendly and try to be helpful. There's a golf cart for helping move luggage around and parking space for cars. There's also a mini bus taking people to the village and/or beach.

There wasn't much to advertise the live events at the hotel, and other than a screen at reception, there wasn't much to advertise the excursions either. The hotel could improve on communication on such areas. The staff don't seem to be very up to date or give the same information - for example we were told of a discount (or free) for sunbeds at the beach but both of these information pieces seemed to be incorrect. Some things in the hotel could do with a bit of refresh (for example worn out cables of ironing boards). The gym is kind of small and can just about fit three people.

Amazing location, on top of the hill. Great sunrises and sunsets and also great room service. Perfect for going to get some rest. Staff was trying to be polite all the time.

Food court was too small, not so many dishes that you can choose from. The “manager” (women) was always there (kitchen) checking who is taking what food, something that a 5 star hotel should not have. Makes you feel uncomfortable. There were people under the age 16.

In comparison to Easter time, it was much more relaxed (even though there were still guests for the last working weekend!) and the food was much better!

No negatives, me and my boyfriend really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.

We didn’t know that Pefkochori was so crazy crowded and intense when we booked our staying. We were looking for a quite place to relax at and thankfully the location of Alia palace, right outside of the noisy crowded city was all everything we wanted

It’s a bit exhausting to go a few times a day up and down the hill to the room-dining room-pool and etc

room and facilities was beautiful

location was difficult to find. We paid for a "heated" private pool. THe pool was preset with the rest of the property, which was a tad cold and not worth going in as it was to cold. staff had a practiced response, so Paying for a "heated" pool was not worth the money, as there is no way to warm it up.

The setting above the town of Pefkochori was beautiful from the pool, lounge and bar area. Although this is a medium to large hotel it never felt crowded and the way it is set up made it feel very open. Great to lounge out around pool area before/after your meal watching sunset We had a superior double with our own private small pool which was all clean and in order. With good aircon. Our room number was in the 600’s at the top of the hill perhaps 120m from the main reception/restaurant and pool. The hill is quite steep but the hotel run buggies for those who can’t or don’t want to walk up the hill. There is accommodation nearer the hotel for those that want it. Food was buffet style with an A La Carte option but it was all of a great standard, very enjoyable with plenty of choice. Drinks were bought separately and not included. Plenty of options for Vegetarians. Drinks, frappés and coffees were all reasonably priced and you did not feel you were being fleeced. The hotel also run shuttles into town and the beaches if you want to explore. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed this quality hotel. Great value for money. Thank you Alia Palace

Not much really. Gym was disappointing, not very big and not that many loose weights. Invest in a decent gym. Hill could be an issue for some but the hotel do manage this.
