I recently stayed at this hotel and had a great experience! The spacious, clean, and comfortable room exceeded my expectations, complete with plush beds and effective air conditioning. The staff were warm and welcoming, always happy to attend to any requests or needs. The real standout for me was the rooftop restaurant - it's a must-visit during your stay! The breathtaking views and delectable cuisine made for an unforgettable experience. In terms of location, Egnatia City Hotel is ideally situated near the city center and beach, making it effortless to explore the local attractions and amenities.

My only minor quibble would be the shower facilities. While visually appealing, I found the space to be slightly cramped, and the showerhead felt a bit oversized for the area. Additionally, despite being careful, water would occasionally seep onto the floor from the tub, even though the tub door was fully shut, requiring some extra attention to keep the bathroom tidy.

The location of the hotel is great, on the top of the mountain with beautiful view at the sea , we booked room with sea view, the room is spacious and clean , with cozy balcony . the entire hotel team is ready to help, friendly , my husband and I celebrate our birthdays there, so we got so much attention from everyone , Breakfast was very good, all food was fresh and delicious, we also went to dinner, food and crevice was great . I have been getting massages in spa , young lady Elpida is very skilful, so I had great experience with massage therapy, thanks Elpida . Staying at the Egnatia Hotel in Greece was a delightful experience. The hotel itself was quite nice, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment I stepped in. The rooms were impressively spacy, giving me plenty of room to relax and enjoy my stay. Each morning, I was greeted with a great breakfast that had a variety of options to start my day right. An added convenience was the included parking, which took away the hassle of finding a spot for my rental car. As I walked through the halls, I couldn't help but admire the nice pictures that adorned the floors, adding a touch of elegance to the space. The furniture throughout the hotel boasted real wood craftsmanship that exuded quality and comfort. Lastly, the room service was top-notch; prompt and courteous, making sure all my needs were met with great care.

Amasing hotel location. You can see all Kavala from the balcony from 3th floor. The room was big enough. The receptionists were really friendly. We went to the city center by bus No. 11. Schedule you can find on internet, about half an hour every day. The bus station is 50 m from the hotel.

In august the hotel was a little bit crowdy, because of that at the moment it's running out some food: tomatoes, salami, cheese, fruits. One day I must waiting a while for those foods that cook bring it again.

The room was very clean and spacious, and had a nice TV. It had a contemporary look, as it was probably recently renovated. The bathroom was also clean. Staff were friendly (when i requested a toothbrush, the receptionist brought me one within 2 minutes!). Breakfast was also nice, with many options! Location was good. Easy to park. There was a mini-fridge in the room (which was actually filled with stuff, as most hotels usually keep it empty). Good wifi!

The bathroom had a slight moldy smell at times. There was an issue with the heater, and even though the reception guy tried to help me, the floor heating system would not work. I could have used the AC heater instead, but there was no remote in the room. Apart from that everything was perfect.

The hotel is right at the entrance to the city of Kavala, sitting high on a hill with an amazing view of the city. Booking a room with city/sea view is highly recommended. The rooftop bar/restaurant is worth visiting at least once during your stay (best city views). The hotel has a spa/pool/fitness center but there is an extra fee to access.

The 10 euro fee per day and per person to access the spa/pool/fitness center is, we think, steep. Perhaps a per room charge (as opposed toper person) would be more reasonable. Although breakfast is included in the room charge, we found that on one day we were charged extra for espresso drinks, while on another day we were that told they were included in the breakfast. The great view afforded by the hotel also means that to access the downtown you need a car or taxi, or really enjoy hiking steep hills!

Everything is just perfect. The breakfast, the staff, the view, parking, very comfortable beds and dinner at the rooftop. The staff also showed us local spots we can visit and gave us very helpful tips to make our trip like a true adventure. Will definitely go back next year.

The restaurant is a bit over priced as a dinner option. There are not any places to eat within walking distance. Plan accordingly.

Worn out bed and room. The room we stayed in needs an upgrade. The beds were old and we did not sleep well due to the discomfort. The room cleanliness did not meet expectations for 4-star hotel. Good points: Amazing view, Excellent dinner at the roof top restaurant, nice pool, great breakfast, very friendly staff.
