I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gaia Garden and I must say, it was truly a remarkable experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly and attentive staff that set the tone for our entire stay. The cleaners at the hotel were nothing short of amazing. Our housekeeper, Tila, was an absolute gem. She not only kept our room spotless and immaculately clean but also went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. Her daily check-ins to see if we needed anything were a thoughtful touch that truly elevated our experience. I must also commend the exceptional service provided by the front desk agent, Xheni. When we mentioned that our flight was scheduled for later in the day, Xheni graciously arranged for a late check-out and even went the extra mile to set up a shower for us to freshen up before our departure. Her kindness and attentiveness did not go unnoticed and made a lasting impression on us. Thank you to the entire team at Gaia Garden for making our stay so special. We cannot wait to return in the future!

I was so pleased with this hotel because it was such a good fit for 3 generations of our family: my elderly parents, and my toddler were all in their element here. We loved the location of our rooms and the fact they had taken care to keep our family together with two adjacent rooms (our elderly parents next door) and also that they had thought about the needs of our toddler, so we were not too far away from the main hotel complex. We LOVED the garden setting. I think I saw the most flowers of the whole 2 weeks in Kos at Gaia Garden. It was wonderful. The layout and landscaping was beautifully thought through, right down to mobility and accessibility - important for pushchairs (although not sure about how you would access the restaurant, on the first floor with a fabulous view, in a wheelchair). The children's playground was far superior to any others we visited on the island. Again, beautifully designed and perfect for kids of like our toddler, but also older kids - we saw 6-7 year old girls playing there. We also loved the buffet food - couldn't believe it was all included and the drinks. We stayed a week and perhaps if we had stayed longer it might have become a bit same-y, but for a week it was perfect. We ate out of a couple of times - there are restaurants and beach cafes within walking distance (10 mins). And it's walkable to Kos town (20-30 mins) via the beach way, so the hotel was also really well located. I must also mention the staff - so friendly and keen to make a connection, particularly the staff at the hotel bar, which saw a lot of action among the clientele. But also the gardener and the housekeeping staff (although having a toddler in tow always helps to make friends in Greece!) It is a really nice family-run place on a medium scale - not too large and not too small. We felt that staff liked working there too.

The pool was a little cold and our toddler struggled with that. We were there in May so I hope it warms up in full heat of summer! The all-inclusive beer on offer was not my partner's favourite. I could see that he and a few other guests were bringing in their supermarket bought brands to drink on the room terrasse! By comparison, another - for the large part inferior - all-inclusive hotel we stayed at did have better beer.

Overall, it was a very good experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcomed and attended to throughout our stay. The resort itself offered a range of amenities that ensured a comfortable and enjoyable visit. The accommodations were clean, well-maintained, and provided a cozy atmosphere for relaxation. While they might not have been as luxurious as those found in higher-rated resorts, they still exceeded my expectations and met my basic needs. One aspect that stood out was the resort's facilities. The pool was clean and inviting, offering a refreshing escape from the warm weather. Additionally, the on-site restaurant served delicious meals, providing a convenient and satisfying dining experience. Although the resort might not have had all the bells and whistles of a top-tier establishment, it was evident that the management had put effort into ensuring a pleasant guest experience. The customer service was attentive and responsive, promptly addressing any concerns or inquiries I had during our stay.

While the resort may not have been the epitome of luxury, it provided a solid experience that left me with a positive impression. Honestly, the worst thing for me was the bed, the mattress was to soft and bunkie boards were just falling off.

The staff are amazing, complementary red wine on arrival to your room, cleaners are spot on every day. I even received a bottle of Prosecco on my birthday! Complementary keychains when we checked out. All the staff are happy, food was very good. Layout of the hotel is stunning, it's like mini villas situated in a village. The view from our balcony was amazing, the sunrise and sunset is fantastic and we could see a small farm opposite, we stayed in room 120.

Not enough seating the the restaurant, could do with 4 more tables (16 more chairs).

Location, staff, decor, clientele- we feel it’s better for older travellers and not for families with young children. Staff are exceptional. Food and beverage are a great standard. Some reviewers suggest the decor is dated, we disagree, it’s of a style that suits the ambiance and layout. Rooms cleaned daily, grounds maintained well. This was our second stay and will return next year- they have many returning guests which speaks volumes-please don’t change!

Had a large lovely room but with an adjoining door, will seek to avoid that next year

The beautiful hotel. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Sun loungers very comfortable and pool perfect size. Always plenty of loungers available. We were there in June. Our accomadation was close to pool and playground so easy to move from one to the other. Room was comfortable and cleaners were great. Room could use some furnishing update but bed very comfortable including pillows. Walk to bus was about 5mins and ran every 50mins straight into Kos town. Beach 10 min walk. Walk into town about 15mins. My daughter celebrated her 5th birthday while we were there and reception rang to say they had a little gift for her. It made her feel so special and the fact they marked her special day meant alot. WiFi a little slow but not the hotels fault. Only able to use card machine in reception. Cash only accepted in bar. Able to put on room if necessary. Only beer, wine, brandy and tequila & soft drinks included in all inclusive. No vodka, gin etc included Supermarket 5min walk away. Bike or quad hire across the road. Car hire from Travel Way in Kos extremely easy and very reasonable. €35 per day. Highly recommend to see island 2 days more than enough to see everything. My 1st time driving abroad and no issues navigating island or parking.

Food was just OK. Salads selection fine but hot food warm not piping and meat usually covered in sauce. Poor choice for children. Always spaghetti, pasta and chips but variety choice throughout stay for young didn't vary. Desserts 5/10. Just my opinion. Breakfast same most mornings. From lunch finishing at 2 and dinner at 7 only cake and biscuits at 5 on offer. No tea/coffee machine in room. Fridge available though.

We were in a newly renovated room with a view of the pool (room number 21). It is equipped as in a 5-star hotel (bluetooth mirror in the bathroom, computer in the room, smart TV...) Food was delicious and varied. We liked that there was plenty of shade around the sunbeds by the pool.

Music in the bar is sometimes too loud after 10 pm and can be heard in the rooms near the pool.

We came on the all inclusive basis as it was great value end of season and we needed to save some money in a 3 month trip. We didn't expect much but there were so many little things that made Gaia gardens great: - welcome prosecco in the room - USB sockets by the bed - thoughtfully placed power sockets - hot, powerful, shower - location is perfect for hiring bikes for town/beach - reception lady was so helpful and lovely - beds comfortable and second pillow left in our room on the day we asked - plenty of storage for clothes/empty cases - all of the staff were smiling and would say hi/check on you - sun beds placed considerately with a lot of seating for those of us who need our laptop and a beer :) - the breakfast omelette one day was my fave thing all week!

I think the chef did a great job with a limited budget (we ate a lot of peas/sweetcorn and green beans!) and we could see where food wasn't wasted. The options of pancakes/waffles for breakfast was great. It just meant the food was a little repetitive but for what we paid absolutely acceptable and we enjoyed lots of it. However, no matter when we arrived for the meals, the food was always tepid and it made us a little cautious about the chicken/rice. The beer and wine were definitely budget but drinkable if you're not too fussy!

Loved my stay here! The room had recently been refurbished and had all the amenities I could have wanted and more (kettle, coffee machine, iron. The bathroom mirror was even a bluetooth speaker!). Far exceeded expectations

All inclusive drinks were somewhat limited but had beer and selected spirits. Cocktails etc were chargeable but that's not entirely uncommon.
