Facility: The facility is well maintained and super super clean. The staff cleans multiple times a day the stairs and the common areas. There's 4 pools: one near the big hotel complex, the infinity pool, the pool with the bar and the children pool (well distanced). There's few restaurants, the spa (not free!), the basket ball and the tennis court. Room: We booked a sea view room and waking up in the morning with that view it's breathtaking. Truly awesome! Wi-Fi worked like a charm. AC was very refreshing and helped us sleep through the night. The shower's glass wall is see-through and the toilet is behind a glass door which doesn't lock, you can hear every... noise. Staff: The staff is young and it's extremely nice, always welcoming you with a great smile. Not every person in the staff speaks a perfect english but most do. Despite the hotel being pretty full, every drink or food was delivered very fast. Pool & Towels: We spent most of the time at the beach, but we also enjoyed the infinity pool and the pool bar. It is possible to change the towels as many times as you want. Not sure if it's always the case, but we even took more than 2 towels at once and it didn't seem to be an issue whatsoever. Beach: The resort has its private beach which is usually not overcrowded and super clean. There's also a beach bar with soft music, soft drinks and cocktails. Not much words needed that the Aegean Sea itself... clean, crystal clear water, not cold, in one word: stunning. It's mostly pebbles but you can find spot with sand as well. For someone into nice walks, it's is possible to take a long walk along the coastline. Half board vs All-inclusive: We were not sure whether or not booking the all-inclusive and in the end we decided to go for the half board option, which, if you don't drink a lot of alcohol it's definitely the best choice. It'll save you few bucks.

Both at the beach and at the pool, the umbrellas are fixed, it is not possible to move nor orientate them. Therefore, if both want to be in the shade it's necessary to move the beds all around... and we ended up being almost elbow-to-elbow with other guests. And of course, like in every other resort... the freaking race wars for the sunbeds in the morning. The Spa is fairly small and sadly it's not included, which for a 5 star hotel is a bit disappointing. Last but not least, the food wasn't outstanding, it was okay. (My wife disagrees with me and she wants me to tell y'all that I am Italian and too picky 😂) My point being: we are at the seaside, I expected much much much more fish and seafood.

Hotel, Infinity pool, delicious breakfast and dinner, also from a la cart menu. Most friendly staff and great shows at the dinner time. Top 3 beaches on the island Kos - Camel beach, Agios Stefanie and hotel beach at Agios Fokas. Free towels to be used at the pool or at the hotel beach and even outside the hotel. Just return the towels as you are checking out. Towels can be changed on a daily basis. The staff explained to us everything we asked about, so we had all the information at once. 3 pools, one for small children, large enough to be used by all the children and families, since not so many small children have been in the hotel, best infinity pool, large enough that we did not found it to be crowded, and one little bit smaller pool, like half the size of the olympic pool. Hotel beach is just 3 min by foot, down the stairs, the sea is crystal clear and pebble stones outside and some rocks and sand in water. Hotel offers also rent-a-car services, and car awaits you at the hotel and car can be returned at the hotel, so there is no issues coming back from rent-a-car place to the hotel. We took a car for 2 days to see main attractions on the Kos island. The car was the latest model of VW Up We first booked a holiday in Šibenik, Croatia, but as we saw the costs for accommodation, we immediately searched the cost for Hotel Michelangelo on Kos island, and for the same period the costs for 2 adults and 1 child (10 years) at the Michelangelo in Kos have been cheaper then in Sibenik, Croatia, so without overthinking we booked vacation on Kos, Greece, and at the best hotel on Kos island. We have decided that we will never ever spend our vacation in Croatia anymore. We will definitely return to the Michelangelo hotel, hopefully by the end of the summer this year. And with our friends to whom we shared the photos and videos of the hotel, beaches and the island of Kos. And we still have to make our trip to Bodrum.

We liked everything about the hotel and its facilities....

The infinity pool is stunning and most of the staff are lovely and so helpful. Our rooms were cleaned everyday and towels changed. Restaurants are nice with lots of choices for food.

Evening entertainment is awful and massively needs improving. They have an act on for about 90minutes between 8-9.30pm then it becomes lifeless with no atmosphere whatsoever for a 5 star hotel, the only other option is 15 minute taxi ride to Kos Town as the hotel isn’t in the best location. One of the pool bars was shut throughout our stay also at the quieter smaller pool. If you struggle with steps this property isn’t for you. lots and lots of steps to get anywhere.

Stunning hotel and location, the exterior and pools are gorgeous. great selection of food and drink available and the rooms were spacious and clean. would definitely return for a relaxing, luxurious holiday.

Hotel and staff weren’t set up to deal with a solo traveller and it was pointed out often that I was alone! shock horror! I had a lovely time, and would go back… but this did make me feel funny at times.

Almost everything during our stay was highly pleasing. We had a very relaxing vacation! Tasty food, quiet (a little rocky) beach, beautiful view of the sea and mountings, and very nice spa treatments. It is my 2nd stay at Michelangelo, and I could only highly recommend it!

Two minor things were unpleasing for us—payment for the airport taxi at the reception only in cash. We didn't bring any cash with us. (Because why would you do that in the 21st century?!) And that it is allowed to smoke on the restaurant terrace right during the dinner. We are both not smokers, and this was very annoying to us. Tables are not that far away, with a lot of children around and pregnant women, but some people just don't bother to think they could cost harm to other people around them. I wish the hotel would have some policy about that!

Hotel was one of the very best I have stayed the design and layout is very modern and spacious with many areas for restaurants, incredible main swimming pool with others on different levels, and the beach is excellent, stoney but very clear water. We opted for half board and all meals were very high quality and a lot of choice. Rooms are spacious and also had necessary features like tea coffee and fridge and safe. The staff are so very good and attentive especially with arrival and departure. The facilities are excellent and it is close to main Kos town about 10 to 15 minutes by car. Will definitely return in the future.

Beautiful infinity pool & breathtaking views. Guest relations Nina was wonderful and helped me to resolve my issues. General manager Mr. Kastanakis offered small compensation. Staff is hardworking at the restaurants and tries to offer the best experience to its guests. Anastasiya from the Spa was wonderful. Great entertainment in the evening. The garden is well maintained.

I booked a room with a sofa and sea-view. The room I was offered was not the one I had booked. I presented at the reception but there was nothing they could do for me. Front-desk service level is very low and unfortunately not reflecting the 5-star hotel. Room was located next to housekeeping stockroom, very noisy. Will be back another time to experience the real 5-star service I was promised by Mr. Kastanakis.

We arrived at a hotel for a family trip I should mention that the place is simply stunning, an infinity pool with an eternal view of the sea.. The facilities are new and comfortable the breakfast is indulgent, but at first I didn't find food that suited my personal taste (again it's a personal taste) I eat a certain type of food so that those who don't have a traditional limitation or a limitation of types of food can enjoy the food that the hotel offers For those who do not take the package (all included) can go down to the restaurant next to the pool during lunch hours when the hotel offers a pampering and unlimited buffet service for only 10 euros This includes all types of food that the hotel offers except for carbonated and sweet drinks. They change the menu a little from day to day so there is variety I had an embarrassing incident in the dining room there because I didn't understand their explanation about changing meal times, but the staff made sure to make me feel comfortable and immediately pampered me Another important point In the room the beds are luxurious, the wardrobes are relatively transparent. It was strange for me, but it can be refreshing for couples I will sum up my stay at the hotel as a good experience A bit of disappointment from the wardrobes from the diversity of the food in the first few days (personal taste only) the food at the end was a pleasant surprise! The eternal view from the pool woww The privacy and silence was exemplary.. The staff is amazing!! I would totally like to go back to the exact same hotel.. Many thanks to the hotel staff for an amazing hospitality experience.. 5 stars is an understatement

Staff were fantastic. Maria in reception and Demeter and his wife in the restaurant, always had a warm welcome, coffee within minutes and nothing was an issue. The food was amazing for buffet, especially dinner. We traveled with our 2year old boy and they were so kind. Highly recommend. We would definitely return.

The location is fabulous but it is hard to get into town town. Buses are hourly or less and you need cash. They should try and organize shuttle buses for people to get out of the hotel.

The infinity pool is something that I have never seen. It worth to learn swimming just for that :) The entire vibe is very unique.

The hotel location is so so, always last in the bus stop near the city, very problematic to get a taxi ( as no one is coming to this area you have to order one ) The food is nice, and ok, but I have seen better quality in Greece. The toilet and the bath walls are from glass that is semi transparent, if you want a complete privacy that could be problematic. While people mention that this hotel is great for kids, there is actually no activity or almost nothing for them. Aside from the kids pool. The infinity pool is amazing, but note that the pool is not heated and suited for warm days.
