From the moment we arrived we relaxed & began to unwind. Oku is a very special place. The gardens were stunning & beautifully maintained & the rooms were clean, comfortable & stylish. The breakfast buffet selection was exceptional, lunch was fantastic & the evening meals at Kima were outstanding. All the staff were welcoming, friendly & professional. We loved the beach (& the beach bar!), which had a stunning views across to smaller islands; it was difficult to leave the sun beds as they were so comfortable! All the cocktails we sampled at the main bar were delicious, it was the perfect post-beach & post-dinner lounging point! Occasionally there was a DJ, who played some afternoons & evenings, he was brilliant & his music perfectly matched the laidback vibe. We're already planning our next visit.

A de-misting mirror in the rooms.

Breakfast was perfect, however it could be better in terms of the staff asking if we want eggs when they ask for coffee. We found it difficult to order. Breakfast was supposed to be until 11 but they would start cleaning everything out at 10:40 so it was a bit stressful if we slept in.

The housekeeping could be better as they only changed our bedsheets once during our 7 night stay and we never had enough towels as you shower multiple times per day because of the salty water. Also the floors seemed never to be swept thoroughly and there was always sand. The air conditioning was right across our bed so we had to be very careful with it as it was blowing right on us during the night but without it it got too hot

We came to OKU KOS because we looooooved OKU IBIZA and we were expecting the same vibe. It was actually a bit different and somehow a bit disappointing, but all in one it was a great stay. What's good ? The style, the amenities, the direct access to the beach, the pool area, the rooms, and this "village" spirit.

It was not that bad... but the staff is not as friendly and entertaining compared to OKU Ibiza. They are available and efficient, especially at the front desk and room services, but at the restaurant, some are doing the strict minimum. The gym is a bit small and we were surprised to see we had to pay an extra 25€ to access the spa for one hour/day. I guess it's a way to limit the number of people going there, but it seems a bit "cheap" from us. Especially when you consider the level of price. Same for the quality of the breakfast. A large choice but it was not so wow after all, and a bit repetitive after one week spent there.

- The beach is one of THE best in Europe I have been too, excellent staff, great lunch menu, lovely sunbeds and beautiful sea and scenery. - The rooms are excellent, spacious and modern with lovely bathrooms and most have exceptionally good outside space … especially the roof top rooms. - The spa is great, we had a message each (me and my partner) and the team there were brilliant, great service and a very nice massage.

- At all costs avoid the half board package, the food at dinner is excellent but the half board package is a pre set menu containing 2x options which can be insultingly low quality vs the á la carte menu - Oku need to remove this option or replace it with like for like parity with the main menu at dinner. - Reception staff are poor, often lacking basic training in customer service and came off unhelpful and at times confrontational … the checkout process was awful owing to a particularly aggressive female receptionist. - Breakfast is very average, often lukewarm food left out for hours that can attract flies … Coffee can take a very long time and the breakfast staff are not attentive.

Absolutely stunning hotel. From the time we got to the hotel it was just pure relaxation. The swim up suite was superb in every way. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly and made the experience even better. The activities that the hotel had arranged through the week were also very good (outdoor cinema, stargazing, wine tasting) and we thoroughly enjoyed each one. And just as an added bonus, the beach at the hotel is also perfect where we ended up spending most of our days at the hotel :) . Highly recommend!

Extremely minor point - The music played at the hotel was on repeat through the day and without much variety so every night ended up listening to the same tracks in the main hotel areas

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and stunning - layout, design, interior - the entire setting. Location is a bit remote, i.e. not much around on foot, but that probably is what you're looking for in a place like this. All staff were super friendly and accommodating. Spending time at the beach on very comfortable sun beds is a real treat, not to mention the beautiful beach itself. And lastly the food (breakfast, dinner) which was of highest quality, excellently prepared and presented. In short, the OKU Kos certainly is one of the best places we've ever stayed.

The best for me was the Greek hospitality from the beginning till the end..Maria the ‘concierge manager’did more then here best to fulfill our needs. Also compliments to the rest of the staff, they were sincere and very kind and helpful! The beautiful environment and happy atmosphere gave us the much needed vacation and rest that we were seeking for.

The location could be better ..It’s a little too isolated from restaurants and supermarket etc..so you need a car to explore more. The breakfast in Oku Ibiza was better then Oku Kos!We had more variation and we missed out of authentic Greek cuisine at the menu of the hotel ‘gemista, mousaka for example :-) I would suggest to adapt one luxury room for disabled people ,they offered us an upgrade because our room where some issues with the bathroom and some other minor things but we could not take the upgrade because I could not enter the toilet with my wheelchair and the steps infront and in the room wich was unfortunately! At the beach some extra wood boards too get easier in the sea with my wheelchair would be fantastic:-)

Beautiful design and layout, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, comfortable beds, fantastic breakfast, clean private beach, lovely massages, daily complimentary yoga classes. Would definitely recommend this wonderful resort! Prices are obviously high but that's what you expect in such an environment

Food is inconsistent in quality and quantity. Some dishes are amazing (michelin star quality), others not so much. Some mains are so heavy that the half board option (amuse/bread-starter-main-dessert) is way too much, others are small, which would make à la carte ordering difficult.

Calmness Intamcy

We came in October, so wasn’t to busy however I feel in the peak of summer it could very well be overcrowded, the hotel itself is very photogenic again I fear in the peak seasons it would become a sea of selfie sticks (obviously no fault of the hotel) It’s understandable that you can’t find beds to suit everyone however the beds were very soft and both myself and partner woke up with back ache each morning. Also the room cleaning was minimal, at best fresh towels if required but that was the only thing noticeable.

Our stay at Oku Hotel in Kos was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with cold towels and a yummy welcome drink. We stayed during the low season and was very fortunate to get an upgrade to a room featuring a private pool, which we were SO grateful for 🙏🏼 The hotel's decor and location are simply stunning, offering a picturesque backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The service provided by all the staff was great . Maria was super warm and friendly from areival, she checked in with us each morning and gave great advice on local attractions. As vegans, we often encounter limited options, but the staff at Oku went above and beyond to ensure we had a variety of choices. Their thoughtful gesture from the pastry chef of preparing different cakes and cookies for us was greatly appreciated and truly enhanced our dining experience. Overall, our time at Oku Hotel in Kos exceeded all expectations. With its exceptional service, breathtaking surroundings, and thoughtful attention to detail, it's a destination we eagerly look forward to returning to one day.

It would have been great to have a TV that had Netflix options on it.
