We loved everything about this place! The view was phenomenal - it completely exceeded our expectations. The hotel restaurant also has a great view and the food was EXCELLENT - even better than many of the "fancy" restaurants we tried elsewhere! The restaurant staff (especially Trifonas!) were amazing. We felt like friends or family each time we visited. We loved that it wasn't right in the heart of Mykonos, so it was a bit more quiet, but still a very easy 10 minute walk to all shopping and everything you wanted to see! If we ever have the opportunity to visit again, we will definitely stay here!

Of course, like EVERYWHERE in Mykonos (as well as other Greek islands), there are steps and hills, but you must expect that and deal with it in order to get the amazing views that come with it. It was well worth it!

Breakfast is standard, however tastes well, especially a desserts & fresh fruits. Staff are really friendly and so helpful. Room was cleaned daily. Stunning view.

Kettle, cups & glasses are provided but not tea & coffee, no still fresh water. Bed mattress and pillows were not comfortable, every morning I had a headache and a back pain. Towels were clean but grey because of the ages. TV, hairdryer & AC are quite old - but was working which is good. There is a euro style socket without USB so make sure you bring your own travel adapter.

I love the STAFF of this hotel. 1) Our room cleaner - Antonetta - was exceptional. Everything was clean and in order. And she was very friendly. 2) Our pool bartender - Mirtho - she was excellent. She made amazing drinks and gave us a lot of recommendations. The cafe bartender - Stephano? was excellent too. The breakfast was quite very good (lots of meat - ham / sausage / eggs). We had a great time. The views and the pool are spectacular - get your 'pasarela' ready!

Our bathroom could have been bigger. I understand this is Europe - and everything is 'smaller' in Europe.

Good location, 10 min walk into town. Great breakfasts. Large room. Great view AC worked well.

Extremely windy & can hear whistling thru doors became annoying after awhile. They need weather stripping etc. As some dirt even blowing in under door from sidewalk. Shouldn't have to "explain' when you ask for some icecubes for ypur water in your room. When sitting for breakfast..so windy that seems like overhead canopy may blow off with loud bangs..is very startling. Mykonos is often very windy, makes it hard to walk around..a bit wind whipped..heads up..not hotels fault.

Lovely views: from our balcony we could see Mykonos town and the 6 windmills and had a panoramic view of the sea. Of course you are only going to get such a view from a hillside location which means a walk uphill to the hotel which some other reviewers have commented on. If a 5 minute uphill walk is an issue for you then stay at sea level. Breakfast was the best we had. A real smorgasbord of traditional Greek and international dishes which are all homemade, except for the croissants . I was speaking to the kitchen auntie and she told me it takes her 3 hours to prepare breakfast and she has to get up at 5:00am every day. Rooms were a good size and not at all cramped. Staff are all cheerful, friendly and helpful. Helped carry out luggage up the steps to our rooms and arranged transport to the new port for us..

In this price range I would have expected complimentary bottled water especially since you are advised against drinking the tap water in Mykonos. But this is a small issue. I would chose this place again if coming to Mykonos.

The view was insane! The pool area and pool bar has a really good vibe and I found the staff to be very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. You are a short walk from old town. People complain about the stairs but the staff are always so helpful with luggage and I am grateful for that!

the tap water isn't drinkable (which is fine!) however I would have expected to have a complimentary bottle of water in the room. Every place i've stayed at without drinkable water has provided at least 2L of bottle water per day and this hotel was by far the most expensive of that lot. Secondly be careful with the breakfast, me and my partner got food poisoning on our first morning directly after eating the breakfast and spent over a full day in bed suffering.

The breakfast at Mykonos view is really varied and was different most days. The breakfast bruschetta's were amazing and the lady at breakfast was really helpful and friendly. Our room had an amazing view right across the sea with a really large terrace which was great to sit on in the evenings to watch the sunset. The staff at reception were really friendly and helpful with recommendations and booking taxis.

We felt a little uncomfortable around the pool with kids as the barman told them they were not allowed to jump in the pool, or splash too much which is quite difficult with kids but we still had a good time and the pool area is great with an amazing view. I would say it would be good to be able to get pool towels before 11am when the bar opens and the sunbeds are too hot to sit on until then!

The Mykonos View Hotel is an absolutely lovely property located just up the hill from Mykonos Town, within easy walking distance of everything the Old Port area has to offer. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the pool deck is amazing, and the breakfast is truly wonderful. The on-site restaurant is also extremely good on its own terms, and quite reasonable priced, we thought, so we are there several times during our stay, both for the simple convenience of doing so, and because it has a really wonderful view, especially around sunset. We also found the staff to be very kind and accomodating. We really could not have asked for a more pleasant stay.

The hotel is beautiful. It's layout is unique and aesthetically pleasing. The pool is lovely, the view over the old port is stunning and it's near to the restaurants, windmills and shops along with the nightlife. It's easy to get to the new port and the airport. The restaurant on site is wonderful (not included) and I definitely recommend a meal there. The breakfast offering is vast, fresh and tasty.

The bed was really hard! The ones in the other room weren't, but ours was very hard. The toilet and shower is a bit cramped, but we only stayed one night so it wasn't a huge issue.
