The hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. The cleanliness of our room was superb and the rooms were cleaned daily. The rooms were a good standard and had an area with a seat and a mirror to get ready of a morning/ evening and we had a very good stay, we booked a room with a private pool and we used it every day and it was worth the extra bit of money. Breakfast was included and it was a help yourself buffet style unless you wanted an omelette made from scratch. Would highly recommend the restaurants/ tavernas Nikolas and Philosophia for an evening meal!!

The Honeymoon Suite was exceptional. Private but also with excellent view of the valley below and the sea. The spa bath (jacuzzi) is enormous, super clean and shaded. There was a comfortable outdoor furniture set, also shaded, plus two sun beds. Inside, the room was super clean, modern and very comfortable. The mattress was amazing and the pillows just as we like them. The room has an environmentally friendly safety precaution so that you dont leave the air-conditioning running when you open the balcony door. I appreciate this. The bathroom has a spa-tub and wonderful shower facility with immediate hot-cold water. The night was so calm and quiet. We will come again for sure. PLUS: it was very very windy during those days and the staff did everything they could to keep the hotel clean from leaves and sand. BRAVO!
The two wooden sun beds at this room are almost broken, most probably from a previous quest. I'd have been happy with simple plastic ones. I am sure the excellent staff is already changing this. Broken furniture happens.

Our stay at this wonderful establishment was truly a dream vacation, thanks to the fabulous staff (thank you from the bottom of my heart). The room was bright and spacious, with impeccable daily cleaning—each evening we returned, it felt like we were stepping in for the first time. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including fresh juice and fruits, with a dedicated chef preparing made-to-order omelets. The location is excellent: quiet and just a 15-minute walk from the center. It’s the perfect starting point for exploring the beautiful beaches on the southern part of Rhodes Island, and it's less than an hour from Rhodes City, where you can enjoy the nightlife.

Lovely quiet location, very peaceful. Pool area and staff were amazing and nothing was any trouble for them. Always extremely pleasant and helpful. We had an issue with being put in the wrong room (we had booked a junior suite) on arrival but this was quickly resolved the following day (we had arrived really late after a delay so opted to sleep in the 'wrong' room for the first night). The hotel is located a little bit out of the main resort but is within walking distance or a short taxi journey - Reception will ring a taxi for you. We didn't go to the beach but the hotel is a short walk from Kavos beach.
Had to ask for a kettle and cups - would have been better if these had already been in the room but nothing major! Breakfast is only served until 9.30am - which is a bit early when you're on holiday.

The Eagles Nest is an excellent hotel. The building, síte, cleanliness and staff. The only exception are the breakfasts - bad, real lousy quality of most food, tastless jams, badtasting coffee, synthetic tasteless drinks, wet sugar packages, broken toaster — one wonders how they can get away with such situation!

Great position for those who only use the hotel too sleep. We had a privat pool. It was a geat decision. The location was raly very quiet.
Hotel corridors are so emtpty. Like in a hospital. We took Suite with a privat pool for 4 persons and the pictures of the suite on booking are not the same as it is in hotel. On the pictures are 2 rooms, but is realy olnly one, separated with a curtain.

Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.
The hotel was over booked on our first night which was unsettling. However the hotel managed the situation well and once settled in the hotel the friendly staff made our visit enjoyable

Breakfast was basic but had a few options. Room was a good size. Private pool was great, and more or less in the sun all day.
My friends room had much better air con, our's was poor.

I loved that I was able to get room with my own pool for a very good price (discounted on booking.com). The included breakfast was great with a lot od options. The hotel was a bit further out from the main strip but that allowed for more peace and it wasn't a far walk into town.
I had expected some more amenities for the price of the hotel. I only got a kettle on my last night so I wasn't sure if they had forgot to put this in my room or not. And there was no mini bar that was put in the amenities. The beds were bit the comfiest but I prefer a softer bed, I was still able to get a decent sleep.

As this hotel is breakfast only, I can only say that there was a choice for everybody from cereals, fruits, eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, breads pastries, tea, coffee and juices but best of all are the chef specials of omelettes. You simply let the chef know what you want and he prepares and serves it to you, very well recommended. Regarding the pool bar, we initially thought it was a little expensive but when you venture out, the prices are very similar. Gerry has worked there for seven years so really knows his stuff, he's very friendly, professional and likes to keep the area very clean, we were there a week before the season got started so was quite quiet so make sure you go and have a drink with Gerry, he'll make your day ! The reception staff and cleaning staff are very pleasant and cheerful, the roof garden has it's own bar but wasn't open while we were there but is probably lovely to relax at and have a drink when the season gets going. All in all, we had a very nice time.
There's nothing not to like, the pool could do with a little updating and the water temperature could be a little warmer for swimming but there's plenty of loungers, etc for seating with shade when needed. We had a room with a swim up pool, again the water temperature could have been warmer
