Beautiful view to the sea from my balcony and to the sunset behind the mountains. I liked the food in the restaurant, especially the Greek food (salad, pies).

A little far away from the center but it was walkable.

Great hotel, very polite, helpful and cheerful staff. The view from each location ( balcony, beach, restaurant) is sooo peaceful. At night you may hear just unbelievable great music of the sea waves ☺️ very tasty breakfast ( 3 variations of cooked eggs, 2 varieties of cheese, 2 varieties of Salam, cooked Salam and sausages, vegetarian spinach balls - very tasty, mini croissants, pancakes, different variants of pastry, vegetables, orange juice, tea, coffee, cornflakes) everything was more then enough. Breakfast hours is 07:30-10:00. In the bathroom you may find towels, shampoo and shower gel. There is no hairdryer in the room but u can find it on hall of your floor ( I just saw it once but other guests was faster then me to take it and unfortunately never give it back😅). You may also find in the hall of your floor the iron and iron table. There is a nice beach, water is crystal clean. The side of the hotel sunbeds price is 3€, there is also a cafe on the beach ( their sunbeds is 10€). After check out ( 11:00 o’clock) it is difficult to find a shower. Very happy from my stay at Samos Bay. Thank you sooo much to all staff 🤗🤗🤗

Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. Yes, the bathroom was small, but the balcony was big with an amazing view. So nice!! The breakfast had a huge variety of foods and everyone was happy. All the staff were super and helpful. They put every effort possible to make our stay enjoyable. There was a refrigerator in the room. No hot water kettle in the room, but the restaurant made hot water for us. Parking was easy along the side of the hotel (we went in May). It was a super quick drive to the port where we parked and took the ferry to Kusadasi for amazing shopping at the Grand Bazaar.

The hotel is close to city center. Rooms are really clean. Maybe it would be better to have hair dryer in room. Room view was amazing, you see the beach. We took breakfast at hotel every day and it was enough. Staff was very friendly especially two lady who were working at restaurant.

Nothing bad. If i go to Samos again, i will choose the same hotel.

We arrived at 4am because of a delayed ferry. Check-in was still available, and a sympathetic member of staff was waiting to present us our key. Dimitri was especially kind and, understanding how tired we were, made special arrangements for us the next day. My wife had coffee in bed with a flower from the garden from the staff. So very friendly, and genuinely so. Samos is generally a wonderfully calm and friendly place, but Gagou Bay Hotel stands out. We will be staying here again, and making sure our family and friends stay here.

Our stay was too short

My stay at this hotel was truly unforgettable! The location is ideal, surrounded by wonderful restaurants and charming shops just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the area. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking view of the sea right from my room – it was like a dream! The hotel is beautifully maintained, and the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome. If you’re looking for a relaxing and scenic place to stay, this is it. Highly recommend!

This hotel really surprises me: great location, very clean and quiet a few steps from a small beautiful Gagou beach. If you want to lazily spend time sunbathing on the balcony, where no one disturbs you and swim 10 times a day - this is the right place with an excellent sunset. You have to walk about a kilometer to the town and its pubs, half of the way is uphill, so you don't have to worry about gaining weight. Taverns, shops and car rental places start at the port. Tourists have appeared in Samos relatively recently, there may be problems with English. The island is small, easily accessible by car. From the beginning, we also went to see the best beaches, but we quickly concluded that it is not worth it - the best one is near the hotel. You must see Pythagoras, the ruins of the temple of Athena, go to the island of Patmos. Try local rosé wine!

Good staff, warm welcome, easy access to the beach. Room are comfortable and really efficient, awesome view from the balcony especially for sunset which is always a favorite ! Also it is really convenient is you want to stay close to the town of vathy. And there is great beach around the area. Gagou beach itself is perfect for a morning swim

Maybe the bathroom need to be refurbish with the bathtub replace by a more convenient shower. In the end I would mind having a bit less space in the room and refresh and a bit more spacious bathroom.

This is my second time to the hotel. And I would go again. Hotel in a good location. Local beach 1 min walk, literally opposite the hotel with loungers available. Food at the restaurant at night was brilliant! My favourite meal from our whole trip. Reception was great. Lovely staff and went out there way to make our trip brilliant. My mum turned 70 whilst away and they gave her some wine and biscuits in her room.

Few issues with the room and the handy was injured so... didn't get fixed. Seems to be a little wait for any DIY or room problems. But made up for my being really friendly. We had great weather. The island is lovely and the hotel is situated in a great spot. Quiet at night. Little busier in the day due to neighbouring hotel and beach bar.

I liked almost everything about this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially kirie Dimitris helped us with any questions we had. The rooms were really clean and comfortable and there was free wifi. The breakfast at the hotel had lots of options for different tastes, the muffin with cheese was delicious. There was also some brewed black tea and coffee to enjoy along with the breakfast. The scenery from the hotel is perfect, the atmosphere of the location is really peaceful for sunbatheing and reading. The location was not too far away from the center, it took us about 13 mins to walk from the city centre. The beach is also perfect for a good swim and for enjoying cold beverages. The beach is stony, so it's a good idea to wear suitable shoes. Overall, it can be the best place to stay in the island.

The check-out hours might have been adjusted for a little later, 11 o'clock seemed too early for us, as we wanted to enjoy Gaggou Beach a little more.
