This is the best location for an hotel in Patmos Skala region. It is a waterfront hotel minutes from the town center. Also the hotel is at a walking distance from the ferry port, no need to take a taxi just walk 10 minutes.. There is a decent beach nearby and a nice pool in the hotel. Rent a car from next door shop and visit other beaches and Chora, the medieval village around the monastery. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. If we come again Skala Hotel will be the only choice for us.

Breakfast is acceptable but not superb. Rooms are not very large but almost all hotels in Greece are like that.

Location is unbeatable - you can really maximise your trip from this location. Even though it’s so central it was never noisy at night when in the room. Convenient on premises parking. Staff were all so lovely and helpful and bear in mind I was travelling with a child and a noisy toddler but was always made to feel welcome. Cleaning staff very friendly and immediately came to help when I needed. Breakfast was great, large selection and helpful staff

Decor in the room is a bit dated. Bathroom was a bit small.

We visited in June 2023. Very friendly hotel with easy going, tranquil atmosphere. Set away from the main road within its own courtyard but within very easy walking distance to a little beach and centre with shops/bars/tavernas. Good quality, simple breakfast on the terrace. Bedroom very tranquil, excellent a/c.

Some of our room furniture appeared in need of replacing/fixing, e.g. cupboard door handles and old-fashioned springy mattresses!

The lady who worked the night shift was very helpful and friendly. We arrived on the overnight ferry from Piraeus at 2:00am. and she made us feel so welcome. We were a family of 6 spanning 3 generations and all were very happy with the Hotel. From the breakfast which was very good through to a late afternoon dip in the pool, all more than made for a great experience. Location and quiet setting, perfect.

Stunning entrance nice pool, good breakfast, great atmosphere, very clean, nice room nice balcony, good views of the harbor Very close to the city center, cafés, and restaurants, very close to the ferry port.

There isn’t really anything i did not like. I had one uncertainty whether I had already paid in the evening of arrival versus I still had to pay. I think the standard payment method is in the morning of your departure. Just be aware of that.

Beautiful hotel inside and out. Staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely a great combination of natural beauty, fine finish to everything. Lovely pool, outside shaded dining areas, interesting range of breakfast items. Quality doors, patio double sliding doors. Beautiful flowers, trees, fountain effect, and wee areas of delight everywhere you look. Great but not at an outlandish cost. A gem on a small but significant island, located very close to harbour yet idyllic setting, well off road and balcony views to die for.

Nothing at all. If I ever get back to Patmos, Skala Hotel is the one for me.

The outside pool was wonderful and salt water. The hotel breakfast was varied and delicious, the staff all friendly and hardworking...will definitely return !

Twin beds...my husband tried to cuddle me and ended up falling through the gap between the beds onto the floor ....🤣...was funny but luckily he didn't hurt himself.

Excellent location. Good pool. Lovely staff. Good breakfast. Beautiful grounds. Beautiful town with lots of restaurants on the hotel door step. Close to Port & bus/taxi station too.

Hairdryer got very hot to hold. Our toilet leaked but staff tried to fix it straight away when we reported it. A kettle in the room would have been nice.

Very comfortable accommodation. Kind staff (receptionist was very helpful) and very professionally managed hotel. Very much appreciated the quiet location of our room, the bottle of wine given by the hotel for my husband's birthday and the late checkout as we had a later afternoon ferry. This hotel is centrally located a few steps from town and the ferry yet in a calm garden setting. The bougainvillia surrounding our balcony and the fabulous view of the monastery and Chora up on the mountain

Breakfast could be improved by offering eggs cooked to order as we don't like pre-cooked eggs sitting in warming trays. Slices of fresh fruit, or fresh fruit salad, would also improve breakfast
