We as a group of 6 travellers loved everything about this place, we took 2 apartments , - very authentic Greek residential area, in with the locals, - yet some fabulous restaurants, small mini market, bakery within walking distance, we were just so sorry we only had one night, -the owners were fantastic, very easy to communicate with, they recommended a restaurant nearby and arranged transport to and from the most beautiful location for a restaurant we have ever eaten at, right on the beach, the food was amazing, - just wished we were more hungry ! The accommodation was spotless, so clean and tidy, and the extra bonus was the beautiful swimming pool. They will even arrange transfers to and from airport or cruise port, - this accommodation is definitely a must if you need accommodation close enough to Athens airport - Look no further, - book this you won’t regret it ! Thank you so much to the loveliest owners !

There were nothing we didn’t like !

Pretty much everything went well. The hosts were very welcoming. The apartment is very secure and down a side road so untroubled by traffic passing through the town. Facilities are close by, eg petrol stn, little supermarket, pharmacy and only 2-3 mins drive from a number of beachside restaurants or cafeterias. And only 15 minutes from the airport (but planes don’t pass overhead). The apartment was very well appointed, plenty of space, plenty of equipment in the kitchen and Theologis and his wife were happy to help in any way. (I was caught up in the Greek air traffic control strike for my return to the UK and Theologis was even prepared to cone to the airport late at night to pick me up if the already much delayed flight had been cancelled. How kind and helpful is that ?

The only thing which is outside of the control of your hosts is one or two noisy dogs in the neighbourhood. I expect if you live in a town you may not even notice but we live where the nearest neighbour is 100 yards away so it is very quiet.

We picked this place because it was close to the airport and we had an very early flight. We had taken a cruise and Theo the host came and picked us up from the ship. Our room was not quite ready so Theo stored our luggage and then took us into the town and showed us some sites and then dropped us off so we could walk around a bit. He messaged us when our room was ready. In the morning Theo was there bright and early to drive us to the airport. Another nice feature is that the local restaurants will send someone to pick you up and then drive you back to your Villa.

There is nothing to complain about but a suggestion would be to have a couple of complimentary bottles of water in the room.

We had a lovely, large room with kitchen facilities and a large balcony overlooking the pool and sea. Communication was great and it helped us to arrange to be dropped off at a restaurant/beach chair facility about 2 km from the property as our flight arrived in the morning before check in. George and his parents were very welcoming and gave us good information on the area. This is a family run property and we could tell that they all took great pride in and care for it. We also ate at the restaurant that was recommended and the restaurant does free personalized shuttle to and from the hotel. Great food, huge portions!

We liked everything. I would encourage everyone to communicate your needs prior to your arrival. This for sure helped us to have a lovely relaxing day at the beach prior to check in.

Theo and his family (owners) were very friendly and helpful. Theo and his wife offered us coffee and juice upon arrival and chatted a bit on the patio while we waited for our room (we arrived early and were able to check in early). Theo recommended a local restaurant where he called them and the restaurant provided a free ride to and from. Theo showed us a private walk way to the local beach where there was a small cafe built into the hillside. The villa was large for the two of us, but we loved it nonetheless! Two bedrooms, full kitchen, one full bath, living and dining areas, and an inground pool!

The water pressure was not great in the shower, but this did not affect our stay.

The host and his family were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. We arrived very early in the morning and they arranged to pick us up themselves which was very convenient. The room had everything you could need for a stay and was very comfortable. From a location point of view, this was perfect for us as we needed a place to stay close by to the airport for our next flight. The owner arranged for a hotel pick up and drop off to a nearby beachside restaurant and they all made us feel like VIPs with the service.

Nothing to not like. This was an amazing stay.

Friendly personal assistance by the host from pick-up at the port to personally settling us into our accommodation. Accommodation was extremely inviting like being at home away from home, that was tastefully decorated and fully equipped. A bonus was the transfer of our bulky luggage to our room by the host via a purpose built lift. We found the hosts Theologos and Iota both exceptionally helpful with any requests.

Couldn't fault anything that comes to mind. Regretted we only stayed the one night during transit for our flight the next day. Will definitely stay longer next time.

Most amazing place. Definitely a hidden gem. Close to airport is why we stayed a night but next time we will stay longer. The host organised well priced and efficient pick up from ferry to travel there. Taxis are the hardest and you get ripped off so much so such a relief he did this for us. The place was the most comfortable we stayed in during our 6 weeks in Europe. Best beds and very big room with 2 huge balconies, was like new. Hosts were the kindest most informative people, nothing was a bother. Area is very nice and local people so kind. Great pizza place a quick walk away. Best lasagne we have ever had and we spent a lot of time in Italy. Beautiful beach 5 minutes away. Best pool ever which was well appreciated after travelling. Best place we have stayed in all our travels. Only negative is we didn’t book longer. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful home with use. Really blessed 💙🤍💙

Didn’t stay longer

The hosts, father and Son, were lovely and helpful. The place is a strange eclectic mix of art pieces from all over the world. The location near shops and seaside restaurants is unbeatable. I swam in the sea nearby and had a lovely lunch at a seafood restaurant about a mile-walk away. The 25 Euro trip provided by the hosts from the Airport to Villa I'rene and the same to the Airport was fair.

The pillows on the bed were so large and paiuful, I had to wrap up a towel to making sleeping possible. The bed, however, was comfortable.

Loved the pool on a sweltering afternoon and Irene's great restaurant recommendation. Theo is a renaissance man and spending time with him going to the airport is inspiring. Book his transfer service coming and going. We made the mistake of taking a cab from the airport and got charged $45 for a $25 trip as the cabbie couldn't find the place even though I had written the address etc.

Basement apartment. If available book upper units that have view to the beach. Neighborhood dogs bark off and on. Unsightly unfinished home construction project in neighboring lot.
