The location was perfect…easy access to some smaller beaches, quick walk to downtown area and restaurants. It was very peaceful and quiet with a charming inner courtyard and pool. Breakfast was amazing and served by the pool. Manolis outdid himself with the presentation and the food.I had the room with a small patio it was lovely.

Nothing. Though one might be worried about the busy road closing the shutters at night kept it very quiet.

This property has an amazing feel of being a very private hotel. The Economou Mansion has only 6 rooms and therefore breakfast is served to your table (a brilliant spread too!) and the pool facilities are often yours alone!

Our whole stay was wonderful. If you’re looking for a modern hotel with super fast wifi/state of the art air con, you might have a few quibbles BUT the hotel more than makes up for these minor things with its character, privacy and charm. We would 100% recommend.

Breakfast is fantastic, a little variation each day. Good filter coffee, fresh juice eggs cooked a variety of ways and something sweet. The room is tastefully classic, with a huge comfortable bed and quiet air con. The grounds are very well maintained with a beautiful array of trees and plants. The pool areas is very comfortable and well catered for as there are fresh towels and loungers.

Would be useful to have a ‘do not disturb sign’ for the door.

This is an old mansion converted into a small hotel. For us, the room was comfortable, with nice breakfast by the pool. The mansion is very good situated in the vicinity of nice restaurant and a beach. The staff was helpfull and polite .

On some days, there was virtually no WiFi connection in the room.

This is an absolutely charming historical mansion that sits right on the very sea front promenade of Spetses, on the quieter more charming end, nearby a few of the best restaurants. We had heavy luggage and it’s a 10-12min walk from the port on cobbled streets which are difficult for wheeled bags so it is worth asking for the free hotel transfer which is a lovely touch. The staff are so lovely and welcoming, and tend to your every need. The breakfasts are INCREDIBLE and subtly change every day to keep it fresh.

Perfect location, easy walk to beach, restaurants, bars, port and town, and ferries. Accommodation was excellent, the breakfast is unsurpassed and made better only because it is served around the pool. Our second stay and hopefully not our last.

Leaving.

We loved our stay. The mansion is a gorgeous old home that has been beautifully and thoughtfully renovated. Rooms are generous and well insulated from the outside heat with metre thick walls. The view, the pool, the location all perfect but the scrumptious breakfast feast made and served by Mr Manolis is amazing.

Nothing.

Out of all the places I've stayed in Greece on a reasonable budget this has to be one of the best properties so far. A clean historic property run by excellent staff and a friendly owner who takes time to speak to his guests and make sure you have everything you need to stay comfortable. The breakfast was varied and sets you up for the day. There are a couple of really good restaurants close by and the property is an easy 10/15 minute walk from the harbour. Next time I stay on Spetses I will be staying here. Thanks again.

Everything was great, nothing to dislike.

Such a beautiful property in a perfect location, close to the new port. Traditional, spacious studio with air con and a nice, powerful shower. Comfortable, large bed. Outside private terrace, overlooking the water. Lovely staff - we were met at the port on arrival which was an unexpected pleasure. Very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Good sized continental breakfast every day. Also a beautiful poolside cat. So pretty! During our stay (end August) we had the luxury of enjoying the pool to ourselves. Bars, restaurants and beaches all within easy access. Buses and boat taxis/moped hire etc. to the beaches that aren't as close. Very easy!

Not concerned directly with the property, but it's worth mentioning, if you're animal loving like me, that you will see and hear the horse and carriage rides all day long on the heat. It's the only thing I didn't enjoy about this island. Everything else was wonderful.
