Breakfast was delicious and ambundant. I appreciated pancakes and croissants with chocolate spreading the most, but there was a menu for literally all tastes (american, british, french, you name it!). Coffee was excellent as well. The staff was trying their best to serve quickly and always with a smile. The room spatious and clean, with good air condintion and the sandy beach just perfect and an arm's length from the hotel (just across the road!). Dinner was also tasteful, with an adequate variety. I believe very good value for money and a first choice for families, although it was very quiet and we didn't have a problem with noise at all!

The diner lacked air condition and the temperature was a bit higher than expected. Thanks to the room's large windows, this was not a major issue however. I also noticed the personnel's black, disposable, PVC gloves they wore during dinner service. I know the purpose was meant to be protective, but I don't believe it was very sanitative. They trap sweat and cannot be dissinfected. Using them in a 5* hotel just doesn't feel right. May I also propose more sunbeds at the beach?

Staff are overwhelmed and/or not trained enough. Checkin lasted more than 30 minutes. Pool always inaccesible due to overcrowding, food is poor quality. Hotel manager called and asked me to increase review grade, he seemed a nice and reasonable person and it seems he knows the areas which need improvement.

Very pleasent welcome from reception, room service and manager who gave us better room then original booking and welcome drink. All property is well maintained, pool area is not overcrowded like usualy which makes you chill and relax, pool water temperature is very good. Location is very calm. Very clean.

The hotel is clean and all the hotel staff is friendly, very helpful people. We apprecieted the hospitality during our stay. The hotel manager welcomed us by sending a bottle of wine to our room. Room was big. We had a quiet and peaceful stay. No loud music, it's a place to have a relaxed stay. Beach area is nice with enough seabeds. The pool is clean and lifeguard is always around. It's not crowded as well. Car parking has never been an issue as there is always a place to park the car. The facilities and the furniture is old however everything is enough to have a comfortable stay. The food was okay. Of course it's hotel food so we didn't expect to eat exceptional Greek food. Yet the buffet offers enough variety of food and the taste is okay too.

The number of towels are not enough in the pool and the beach area. Though also the people are taking more than 1 towel per person. I would prefer to have a couple of sea towels in the room instead. Otherwise you have to rush to the common area to get a towel before people loot the towel cabinet. If the towels are left in the room during the cleaning, no one would be able to get more than 1 towel, therefore more fair distribution is possible.

The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable, and thanks to its closeness to the beach, we enjoyed the sea to the fullest. The beach was beautiful, especially watching the sunset was wonderful. There was a wide variety in the buffets and bars, there were options to suit everyone's taste. Chef Grigoris' meals at the A la Carte Lagoon Restaurant were top notch, and our waiter Stefanos helped us very quickly and always picked the best recommendations on the menu for us. When we were in need the hotel manager Mr. Kappas personally took care of everything. In general, I recommend this hotel to those looking for a comfortable and enjoyable holiday.

After our stay in 2022, my family and I chose Ilio Mare for a sea vacation again this summer. We were happy to see that the quality of service has been maintained over time. We had a peaceful vacation and left the hotel with a quite positive overall impression. The receptionist completed the check-in process quickly and with a smiling face. The suite room we stayed in was extremely large, spacious and clean. The ventilation system is strong. The balcony of the room is big enough for three people to sit comfortably. The beds are comfortable and orthopedic. The area where the hotel is located is very calm and quiet, free parking is possible right in front of the hotel. If you come to Thasos with your own car by ferries departing from Keramoti, you can reach the hotel after about 20 km from the port where you get off. If you prefer the ferries departing from Kavala instead of Keramoti, you can directly reach the Prinos area where the hotel is located. The restaurant capacity, decoration and presentation of the food is very successful. The variety at breakfast is quite sufficient. For dinner, there are always five or six main courses, one or two of which are seafood (our favorite). The flavor of the food is quite good, you will finish the products you take on your plate. At the pool and beach, there are constantly renewed clean beach towels, there are enough sun umbrellas and sun loungers for all guests. The entire beach and the sea are sandy, the sea does not deepen immediately, so it is suitable for families with small children. The bar staff serving the beach brings what you want immediately. There is a continuous and fast enough internet connection in almost every area of the hotel.

Excellent location, blue flag beach with cristal clear water with all the necessary beach amenities (free beach towels and sun beds which are always available). The breakfast and dinner which were included in the price had excellent food choices and were very tasty. The desing of the hotel is very modern and great for couple and families as well. The staff was very welcoming and helpful and the GM, Mr.George was always there at disposal.

The hotel’s spacious and airy rooms were perfect for a family holiday. The large, clean pool in the middle of the hotel was enjoyable, but being able to reach the sea in just a few steps was an even nicer. The soft sand and crystal clear water took our beach pleasure to the top. The bar and open buffet overlooking the sea offered a variety of delicious dishes, but the most unforgettable moments we experienced were at the a la carte restaurant Lagoon. The meals meticulously prepared by Chef Grigoris were wonderful, and our waiter Stefanos always helped us with our food choices with his fast service. The general service quality of the hotel was impressive; the hotel manager( Mr. Kappas) personally took care of any of our needs. I would recommend this hotel with all my heart for relaxation.

It was all very well. Spacious room, cleaning is done daily, the staff was very friendly. The food was diversified and very well prepared. The hotel manager is a special person who provided all the necessary information for a very nice stay.

Breakfast and Dinner were great! Variety of foods to pick from. Staff was pleasant and helpful! The beach was amazing. We had a wonderful vacation and would come back!! Avgi Katchutas
