The locations is outstanding. Breakfast was great for us each morning. It is a pretty good place to explore the island but the trip to Basse Terre attractions is pretty far (1.5 hours drive to most) Room was wonderful as we were in room 2 with an ocean front balcony. Internet is spotty but we just used the island service with our Iphone and that was fine. Overall a great hotel and I would stay there again for sure.

The only thing that we might have changed is staying on Basse Terre one or two days. It is a very long car ride to volcano, waterfalls and other attractions. But this is a great location for the beach which we did 5 days.

We had a sea view room and it was amazing; very private balcony overlooking the ocean. Big room and bathroom, very clean and comfortable bed. The breakfast was fresh fruit and bread and croissants every morning with plenty of coffee and fruit juice too. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and either spoke excellent English or were very patient with my pigeon French and Google Translate! Location was superb - directly onto the sea, but rocks where the hotel is. Within 50m you are on sand and the beach is beautiful. We had dinner in the hotel a couple of times and the food was great quality and quantity. The restaurant was always busy, which is a great sign. They had live music Friday, Saturday evenings and Sunday lunchtime - it was a vibrant and fun atmosphere without being overly loud or intrusive. Loved it and could have stayed longer than the 5 nights we were there.

It closes on a Monday - you still get breakfast, but then it is closed. I fully appreciate the staff need a break though, so no major issue, just something to be aware of if you are going.

On the ocean. Lovely beach adjacent. Great for swimming. FAB view from balcony. (Only 2 rooms have these, so specify Restaurant below excellent. Main focus of this establishment. Friendly staff. Nice continental breakfast can be included if prior arrangements, otherwise extra. Easy walk to town. Clean OK bathroom/shower Easy check in/out

Ridiculous bathroom sink Really thick and rock-like pillows. No laundry service Closes down from Monday after breakfast till Tuesday before dinner. I had heard about the blasting music on Friday Saturday nights, so I arrived Sunday and left Friday, SO I HAD NO PROBLEMS with that. My nights were quiet. It helps if you speak French here and on Guadeloupe in general.

The location is perfect, steps from the beach and a few local spots with good food/cocktails; I didn't spend too much time at the hotel, as I was on the beach + short excursions elsewhere, but the ambience is great to hang out in the morning / afternoon... we enjoyed listening to some amazing singers that performed at the hotel a couple of nights.... ...the room and the bathroom were comfortable (and cleaned every day), and all the staff was excellent... thank you, Antoine and Gail... don't know the owner's name, but she was very helpful and pleasant...

I was ok without WiFi, though annoyed when I needed it to check-in / get a boarding pass on my phone.... it took forever, but I did it... like I said, I don't care much for WiFi when I travel, but I thought I'd mention it if it's important to you. We paid for breakfast, and it was the same every day. A small plate of fruit to share (?), bread, butter, jam, a chocolate croissant, and coffee and juice. I would suggest some variety, like eggs, and definitely more fruit.

Absolutely amazing spot and amazing value. My wife and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon, we stayed in one of the sea view rooms and were blown away by how nice it was. The bed was beautifully made and you can see a beautiful view of the ocean. The bed has a mosquito net so you can go to sleep with all the windows open (if you want, you can also keep them closed and turn on the AC) and let the ocean lull you to sleep. All the staff were incredibly nice to us, my wife speaks French but the staff is so friendly and helpful and some speak English as well and I’m sure you wouldn’t have any issues. Breakfast was my favorite part of the trip, they serve you a nice plate of pastries and fresh fruit with juice and coffee, they put on some light music for ambience and that paired with the sound of the ocean was so nice. Our experience was overwhelmingly positive, if I had to say any negatives I would just mention that in our room the bathroom smelled of mold due to old wood that had rotted over the years, it wasn’t a huge deal and didn’t affect us that much but something to note. Another thing that to us was not a negative but to some might be, is that the ground floor functions as a bar/lounge during the day, and from Thursday to Saturday they have cool live music playing downstairs until 11 pm or so. This was a plus for us because we went down and listened and danced for a while every night and had (amazing) drinks and stayed until the live show ended and went upstairs, but if you are a quiet loving person perhaps it’s not the place for you, at least not between the hours of 8pm to 11pm, but honestly I don’t think you can find a better spot to stay in St. Anne, our stay at Le Nil made our trip!

The bathroom smelled a little bit of mold, for us it was not worth complaining about. Also, if you are looking for a place that is quiet on the weekends, this may not be the place for you because there is live music downstairs playing until 11:00 PM. For us this was a plus, but I could see how some may not have expected that and maybe would see it as a negative.

Le Nil is a great resort. Amazingly close to the beach, wonderful hospitality and food and when they had entertainment at night it was great. If you visit Guadeloupe and you don't speak french you will have a problem but atleast 3 of the staffmembers at Le Nil spoke english so we had an excellent stay. We will definately come back.

All information is in french so no-one told us that Le Nil was closed (except for breakfast) on Dec 20th. We found a street van that served bokits pretty close to Le Nil but a little "warning" would have been nice, Please note that all the restaurants at the beach close VERY early (around 5-6 pm) so be prepared for a walk in to town if you don't want to eat at Le Nil.

Being able to walk out of the hotel directly to St Anne beach and walking distance to some good local food. Included Breakfast was excellent, and we had 2 really good dinners here as well with some nice cocktails. I will do a thorough review of this place on TripAdvisor if you are interested once we return home :)

we had 2 different rooms - #9 first right behind the kitchen so noise was an issue early in the morning, we then switched to room #2 with ocean view and we could hear the baby crying next door early in the morning :/ and the WiFi did not work in #2 which made it a bit more difficult if you dont speak French and rely a lot on internet help to go to places :)

I stayed at Le Nil for 3 days, the hotel is next to the beach. We are able to hang out at the beach every day. Staff is excellent, kind, friendly and helpful. Next time visit Guadeloupe, I'll book Le Nil again.

We wish wi-fi is faster a little bit.

The location of the hotel is perfect, right onto the beach. Nice bar/restaurant with good food. Easy parking.

The room was quite small and it had no curtains, also there was some noise from the bar at night.
