breakfast was quite basic, but at least it was included in the price. The facilities were overall pretty good.

Staff quite unobliging, I asked for a late checkout but they would not even give a half hour extra and I had literally checked in at 1 am at night, the night before. Seemed more concerned with their cleaning woman's needs then the customers needs.

Location allowing easy city sight seeing walk. Quiet (residential neighbourhood) albeit it bordered a main road but that was not to noisy (Thurs night / Friday morning). Welcoming staff Good shower / bathroom & towel provision - any place with includes a face rag in the towel offering is positive.

Not much to do within property - but then one is spending little time inside so major issue. Pillow offering could be better e.g. firmer pillow. What was supposed to be an electronic room safe was a keyed safe but no key provided. Nevertheless I felt comfortable as there was a guard at the property entrance.

Rooms were large, very clean and well appointed. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. From Reception to Security who called our taxis, or arranged outside dining, to Krystal who called our room to ensure we did not oversleep breakfast and her supervisor who enquired after and helped my daughter when she was poorly.

Nothing that I did not like, but replenishing the bottles of water in the room on a daily basis, even if I had to pay for them, would have been a nicer touch.

Very nice, clean, comfortable hotel. We only stayed one night before our early morning flight. We wish we had more time as it was a very nice place. Rooms were generous in size with a very comfortable bed& pillows. Bathroom clean and stocked with amenities. The room had coffee & and a mini refrigerator and complimentary water. We used their shuttle service to the airport very smooth process as we left at 4am. The restaurant on site was excellent, the food was delicious! Great place to meet family or friends, and it had a bar/lounge area and, of course, the restaurant. We definitely will be staying here again on our next visit.

Such a short stay, we found no cons

Breakfast and dinner were very good.

The Room was very very disappointing. I made my booking in March 2023 and the room I was given on September 28th, was very cheap. There was an old writing desk, no nightstands, 2 old wicker chairs, and the Closet was like an old box with no space. I reported the Television several times but still, it did not work. After about 25 minutes it would shut down. There was no Blanket to cover on the bed. The Receptionist told me to look in the Closet for a blanket which was a black fleece cloth on the bottom shelf.

The welcome by the security personnel especially Christopher was so warm and friendly it made us happy and a sense of security. The office staff was very helpful especially Rehinna who was very warm and professional. The staff in general was very courteous and friendly and approachable.

Not much to be critical about at times the breakfast needed to be more heated.

Wow! Just recently returned from a week’s stay at the Herdmanston Lodge… one of my best hotel stays ever in a long time! I traveled with family, and this was my first visit back home after 35 years. The hotel is very well run and the grounds beautifully maintained. It is in an excellent location, away from the hustle and bustle of the city but with easy access to everything. The room was super clean with all amenities and the housekeeping was excellent. A home away from home experience! The onsite restaurant, Sucre, has a great vibe and ambience with indoor and outdoor seating (loved the indoor waterfall and the great Caribbean music playing – very relaxing!). The food was so good that we dined there every night. Plus, breakfast is to die for. I would like to give a special shout out to the staff who made our stay most memorable and enjoyable! Andrew (check-in/-out), Kevin with Security (who greeted us, took our bags up to the room and should us how things worked), Suzanne (restaurant manager), Odessa and Fiona (restaurant staff), Stephen (the driver), and anyone else I forgot to include (apologies!). You all go above and beyond for your guests and are truly the BEST! I will be back again in the near future and hope to see you all again!

The complimentary breakfast was was not good and the paid a la cart dinners were disappointing. We purchased meals on the street. The bar was unable to provide mixed drinks.

When I arrived at the Herdmanston Lodge the room check in was a breeze. The room was clean and staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The meals I enjoyed on the property were also delicious and captured the local flavors of the area.

The only thing that caused me any concern was the need for a taxi or private driver to go almost anywhere. There was a moment where I needed some cash from the ATM and when I asked for directions they notified me that it would be best to call a taxi to drive over there instead of walking. Due to this I just ended up combing ATM stops with any existing tours and transfers I had arranged in order to save some money.

Good location. Nice property. Ambiance of the place is nice.

Was not crazy about the breakfast choices. Names of dishes should be put in front of the sternos, so as not to keep opening the sternos to see what was in them. Food and water for tea could have been hotter. I asked 4 times for replacement garbage bags, never received them.
