Standard and simple hotel with amenities you would expect. Breakfast was expansive and good. In future I would choose something more "local" and not a large-size hotel chain.

We booked via Booking website and our 2 rooms were split into two different names. Our rooms were then located apart from each other. Be sure you message or specify you want rooms next / near each other if you have multiple rooms. Giant tour groups took entire dining area.

The Hotel Was great! room was great.. and the Staff was great... BUT .. i do have to write about the restaurant at the hotel. the Staff was excellent.. and the food... well. i dont have the right words for the food.. they must have a master chef employed... i started with Ceviche... oh man.. it was incredible.. moving on to the main course,,. Reindeer.. i dont even know what to say... it was the most delicious meal i ate in iceland and it was one of the most deliciously prepared meals i have ever eaten. then you have the Skyr with strawberries .... most excellent.

The staff was kind enough to book me a second night based on my poor playing. I was lucky enough to stay in a different style/type of room. I appreciate the help & ease from all the team members. The morning breakfast was a treat & had a variety to choose from to include waffles. Great location to a Netto & a campsite to wash laundry. Something not to take for granted.

Easy to find with plenty of parking. Check is was smooth and easy even when arriving at the same time as two tour buses. The room was very comfortable and cosy and had the darkest curtains from our entire trip. Breakfast had a fantastic range of choice including hot cooked food, cereals, toast, fruits, yoghurt - and even a local speciality with cod oil and beetroot juice. The bar was stylish and lovely with plenty of space where you could watch the sunset.

Being half way around the island of Iceland from the capital, it'd be ideal to have laundry service but this wasn't a deal breaker.

The hotel was modern and comfortable. The beds were nice and I enjoyed the tea-making facilities (the hotel even used my favourite tea brand!). The restaurant was surprisingly good; do not miss the wonderful langoustine soup!!

I did not understand why the breakfast service only opened at 7:30, when all guests seemed to be waiting for it to open (maybe the 2 hour time difference for all the guests from continental Europe could be taken into account by the hotel management). It created a large demand at the opening, and caused waiting time for certain food, and tables had to be shared in an inconvenient way.

Nice bar, unfortunately the waiter doesn’t know what he sells. But he was really kind and nice. He did great effort. Waffle at breakfast. Nice choice at breakfast, fresh fruits, coffee machine. Parking in front of the door. Hotel easy to find. Nice view from the room.

Only one armchair in the room for two. Water smells a lot sulfur.

Room was very comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly. They even left us complimentary wines as a surprise for our honeymoon. The staff were very friendly and gave us great suggestions with things to do around the area. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations for sure!

We also had dinner at the hotel - the menu was quite limited and also slightly pricey.

Good breakfast, if a bit pricey. Great dinner in Lyng restaurant - one of the best meals in Iceland. Awesome chef. Location was good.

Had the happy hour cocktail of the day - it was primarily soda with practically no alcohol! The room was good, but we had problems with the shower. The front desk person came up to check it out and show us how to use it - we were not turning the left know properly. But compared to our Airbnb in Reykjavik, later in the trip, the shower faucets were not as good.

Room was comfortable; beds were clean; bathroom was well laid out and shower was spacious. Nice view of a park and the sunset from our room. Parking was convenient and free. Purchased breakfast was delicious and offered many healthy options.

Cannot think of anything to change or improve.

Quiet location, friendly staff & a great breakfast buffet. We would stay here again. The hotel does evening meals but we did not eat here so cannot comment but there is a great bistro a short walk away.

We stayed in April & at that time there was no form of transport to get from the airport to the town/hotel so we had to walk carrying our luggage from the airport to the hotel. I do not know if there is a shuttle in high season but would be good to have wheels on bags just in case, or hire a car.
