Absolutely stunning Heritage hotel, away from the maddening crowds, totally and utterly secluded, exactly what we were looking for.Although it states this is close to Arambol, thank god it really isn't,and if Arambol is your thing, then Tiricol certainly will not be.
There is nothing to dislike, other than ignorant day trip visitors who think you can see a sunset looking South, clambering near to your table in the veranda restaurant overlooking the Tiricol river, taking pictures hoping that the sun will miraculously appear setting in the south instead of the west.

location is good different from normal or beach stays breakfast is good but limited restaurant location and views r great room spacious and view from room is good . even though there is space for car parking inside fort and adjusent to it we were asked to park some distance away . there is a small beach below fort . if a way is constructed to reach down it will be an excellent beach to fort
parked our car under trees . by morning its top is full of red ants . it took considerable time and stress to clean it all they could have allowed to park inside fort or by the side of fort where there is space for parking

very interesting place to visit and stay, we had two suites for 3 days, the staff make the Fort run seamlessly 5☆ Breakfast and dinner was beautifully served as it used to be in the high end hotels. our suites had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.. I highly recommend a beach and Fort stay if you are heading to Goa , it's a great combination... I would like to praise everybody at Fort Tiracol for your professionalism.
I honestly couldn't fault anything

Loved everything about the property, but a special vote of appreciation for the smiles on the faces of every member of the team...from the front office to the restaurant staff, to the security team...and the effort they took to make sure our stay was absolutely delightful. Thank you, everyone 😊
Nothing about the property as such. However, we landed at Dabolim airport so it took us a good 2 hrs+ to reach. Guests staying at this property would do well to check for flights to Manohar International Airport, which can significantly cut down travel time.

The suite 'Sunday' was extremely comfortable. Beautiful views of the sea and the beach. Lovely balcony sitout with a sun umbrella and 2 comfortable chairs. The bed was super comfortable. We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant and the service was impeccable. Kudos to the staff. The breakfast was perfectly adequate served a la carte. The views from the restaurant too are spectacular. I would suggest using some mosquito repellent in the evening while sitting at the restaurant. Overall a wonderful experience!
The window of the toilet needs to have a net to keep mosquitoes and squirrels out, so that the window can be kept open. There is no exhaust for the toilet.

Tavern is a wonderfully located restaurant in the property with a majestic view over the estuary. The quality of items served at breakfast was superb especially the pooris . The view from the balcony of the room is astounding, You can walk down a flight of steps to be closer to the breakers and the sound of their fury is real music. Dinner had limited choice but alls well. The location of the Heritage property is a great attraction for all those who are looking for a peaceful coexistence with nature.
The dinner and lunch varieties

Stayed here after a decade and was pleasantly surprised to see the upgrade in everything from the rooms to the restaurant! The View as always stays unbeatable! This remains one of the prime spaces to unwind after hectic moments in the tourist zone!! The staff have been upped to another level, not seen at Tiracol during my earlier stays!! Way to go ...
Nothing .. your so pampered, that the only effort is walking up the stairs :) :)

Fort Tiacol was a wonderful place to stay, situated on the top of the hill away from the crowds. There were good possibility to go for walks. In the afternoons we watched the sunset from a beautiful deserted spot north of the fort. The terrace restaurant was fantastic with stunning view and nice staff. We enjoyed very much the food as well. Delicious seafood, fresh juices and a good choice of indian and western dishes. The staff there were very polite and kind to us. We felt that they took care of us. We loved this small restaurant, we had all our meals there. Our rooms were nicely decorated and had balconies. The bathroom were huge and had a wardrobe. Our stay at Tiracol was our treat of a two months trip. We wanted to celebrate Christmas there and we had a memorable midnight mass in the tiny church in the fort yard.
The only thing I did not like was the rubbish in the area behind the fort. This area is unique in whole Goa. Pity that people who go out in this beautiful nature do throw their rubbish right there. Why do they not bring it back and leave the nature clean??? The fort administration should put a sign where they ask people not to litter. It might help.

The views from the restaurant are wonderful. We saw Dolphins at breakfast. The food and breakfast is very good and not a smorgasbord. The hotel stands by itself on a cliff and you have to cross the river on a ferry. The car ferry is free and available every half an hour. This means you need your own transport or coordinate with the hotel for pick up and drop off. We were provided with complimentary drop offs to the ferry however this is not advertised in the hotels sales pitch. The hotel staff are well trained, polite and helpful. The older wait staff in the restaurant are an encyclopaedia of loach history. It was great talking to them.
You have to rely on the hotel restaurant for every meal unless you go down to Querim beach shacks in a ferry. Having said that we found the food very well prepared, presented and reasonable. Alcohol and drinks are reasonable too.

It's located in a secluded place away from any noise of Goa, it's a truly peaceful place, the property has 7 beautiful rooms only, with a restaurant facing the ocean. It's a truly calming place. The staff are also very polite, caring. You can walk to nearby sunset point, it has most amazing view, also one can take ferry and visit Kedi beach, and take a small trek from the mountain to sweat water lake next to Arambol beach. Breakfast / food menu options though were less, but I feel chef were good in whatever they made from the menu. Would love to visit them again.
Bed direction in the room was North - South facing which is not a good direction to sleep. Food quantity in breakfast can be increased, I guess the kitchen was a bit far which takes a bit longer for staff to bring the food.
