The place is beautiful, the staff are amazing and the whole place is a stylish comfortable work of art . Everything is considered , curated and works really well together . The interiors are fun , colourful and well maintained. The cleaning routine is rigors yet discrete. There is a chap with a bugle in the garden that heralds each guests arrival , he is in fact a brilliant photographer and captured our outfits every morning . We stayed for 11 nights with our whole family joining us for 7 . We had a wonderful private party with all the staff contributing so happily to our celebration . The trip was great value and the hotel is right up there with the very best in India .The younger girls had Indian dancing lessons arranged by the conceierg with a talented and fun teacher . The spa is a delight as is the food . Real sourdough every morning , croissants made with butter . The highlight for the children was the lovely pool on the roof . Thank you 💕

Everything but particularly the style

Narendra Bhawan exceeded our expectations in each and every aspect - be it the beautiful ambience of the hotel and the luxurious and plush overall feel of the rooms and the entire hotel , the very polite and helpful staff or the excellent food - we were truly impressed by all of them. The hotel is a little gem of a place with carefully selected artefacts placed all around the hotel and tastefully done up rooms. The highlight was the food - be it traditional Indian or Italian or Pan-Asian, we loved everything. And what to say of the breakfast spread! Everything was tasty and scrumptious - the croissants and the breads, the various chaats, the fresh fruits, the tasty south indian fare, delicious coffee and kanji! we loved everything about this place. Tried to find a fault in some aspect, any aspect, but we couldn't! I should say well done to the hotel management and staff!

We checked in late at 5pm and still our rooms weren't ready even though their check-in time is 2pm and check-out is 12pm!! we had traveled by road for almost 5h coming from Jaisalmer and were truly looking forward to resting in our rooms but the fact that we had to wait for 30-45 mins before we got rooms really spoiled the whole checkin experience. Also i had booked 4 rooms some 3 months back and had asked for adjoining rooms since we were travelling as a family but our rooms which got allotted to us were scattered all over the place! Can't understand why hotels don't give priority to customers who book and pay well in advance.

Our stay was exceptional. From the moment we walked into the courtyard we were greeted with amazing service and attention to detail. After a 5 hour drive we were seated in a calm and relaxing reception area offered a drink and a welcome snack while our details were taken. We didn't have to stand at the desk which was a wonderful touch and showed how much the hotel cared about our arrival. We were then taken to our rooms which were huge! lots of room to unpack. The courtyard was magical as was the outside area which was filled with wonderful music all day. It created the perfect conditions to enjoy a drink or bite to eat. Just sitting in the space felt wonderful. The food was wonderful as was the staff who looked after us during our stay. The rooftop terrance with the pool was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the surroundings. We felt special throughout our stay. The internal courtyard was a superb place to sit and work or just enjoy the area.

The staff were excellent, very pleasant at all times and they made you feel very welcome and valued as a guest. Food was good and the chefs listened to specific requirements when spoken with.

No bath in my room but I guess that's an expectation from my culture but it wasn't the end of the world. My room was also under or very near the gymnasium and I could regularly hear weights being placed heavily on the floor of the gym although thankfully it wasn't much past 9pm or too early in the morning

Narendra Bhawan was a slice of luxury at an affordable price. The property is truly stunning, the staff welcoming and helpful, and the food was delicious.

Some items on the menu were unreasonably high (500 rupees for plain rice, 600 rupees for water etc). On the whole the food pricing was what we expected, and commensurate to the quality, but we thought it bizarre that rice and water would constitute such a large portion of the bill. This was however in part balanced out by the delicious free breakfast.

A boutique, heritage stay. It delivered style and charm from the moment our bugler announced our entry. Our welcome drink and plate was most appreciated and tasty. All staff are attentive. Our room upgrade was much appreciated. I indulged in several massages and enjoyed the techniques and steam/tea post massage. Thank you Mary and Kelly! The restaurant team were excellent; the personal attention from the chef and complimentary tasting plates were delicious. The ambience of dinner outside under the patio heaters looking up at the lit Havelli was stunning. We enjoyed the complimentary appetisers, hare curry house speciality and enjoyed Western burgers too! Plates were warmed; food was served hot! Latte was served with a home baked cookie; attention to detail was consistent. We ate A la carte breakfast due to occupancy levels so we didn’t experience a full buffet option. Pastries were fresh. The roof top is a pleasant resting area, in addition to the inner courtyard. There was maintenance taking place. The pool was icy cold and not yet warm from the sun at this stage of the season. The hotel was a welcome haven for us at this stage of our tour. The turn down service was welcome; a hot bath was luxurious! The laundry service was efficient and we considered all services good value for money. Large Kingfisher beer was available which most hotels don’t offer. We appreciated a social visit from the manager pre check out.

We received confusing messages about time dependent prepayment prior to checking in which we reported and presume were hackers. This caused anxiety and time wasting on several occasions trying to seek reassurance that the booking would not be cancelled.

We loved the City Haveli, renovated in an excellence way enhancing the atmosphere, the ambience. We cherish the memories of our stay at Narendra Bhawan. The staff was simply incredible: they made every instant a memorable one. We were looking forward to spend the days in this charming residence and it went beyond our expectations! The warm welcome on an exclusive area of the residence, the great experience with the amazing variety of choices at the buffet breakfast, the afternoon tea in the veranda, the unique and delicious dinner served by experienced waiters in their unique attire, all that made us feel like a Marahaja! We will be back soon!

After a series of overpriced supposedly luxury hotels in India this was the first one that really got it right that wasn't crazy expensive. Place was wonderfully clean, luxuriously decorated (!), room was great, shower was at least very good, beds were very clean, towels good, bathroom spacious, breakfast and restaurant was excellent, second best of the whole trip of ~10 hotels, nice pool and rooftop, awesome courtyard. MRG group seems to "get it" compared to a whole series of properties that just don't seem to understand what they are getting wrong. I mean, they had a guy dusting the lamp shades one by one with a cloth! Stay here!

The food was delicious. The ambience and decoration was beautiful. The staff were courteous and kind, and very prompt with helping us regarding any requests that we had. The dogs Bugsy and Toby were a bonus!

The piano was just decorative and could not be played. It would have been lovely if the piano could have been played (either by a live performer or willing guests)
