The hotel offers a unique charm with its heritage-style ambiance, and the restaurant is undoubtedly a highlight. The food feels homemade, adding a warm and comforting touch to the dining experience. However, several areas could use improvement to match modern expectations. While preserving the heritage of the building is admirable, the facilities, furniture, and amenities could use an upgrade. Simple conveniences like easier ways to order food or pay bills were missing, which could enhance the overall experience without detracting from the classic charm. Overall, while the hotel has its merits in terms of atmosphere and food, modernizing some aspects would go a long way in making it a more inclusive and well-rounded experience for all guests.

The breakfast spread seemed more tailored to foreign guests, which felt a bit unbalanced. Additionally, at times, it felt like the staff prioritized the foreign guests over Indian patrons, which was disappointing. The rooms, while adequate for the price, could benefit from updated furniture and fixtures. It wasn’t bad for the value, but there’s definite room for improvement to make the stay more comfortable and enjoyable.

Rooms - They are very clean and I loved the way things were put together. The overall property has a good vibe as well. Location - Excellent location considering the proximity to different tourist locations. Food - Food is actually good for the most part with good buffet breakfast. Lunch and dinner options are qlso pretty good.

The staff - It's not a reflection on all the staff, but quite a few of them are more inclined to the tourists of foreign nationals. They would greet them with a smile and all of their requests will be catered to in no time. At the same time, our requests were not given the importance that it deserved. When we asked them of something, we would need to remind them multiple times to get it done. Whether it is changing the batteries of the AC Remote or placing a mosquito coil at the place where we are sitting. Again, it is something that we experienced with a few of the staff and not all and I feel this is important that they should treat all their guests the same way.

Great room at an affordable price. We were here for two nights in Jaipur, and the hotel had everything you needed. It is a beautiful mansion property and we felt very welcomed and safe. The facilities and garden are wonderful, and the in-house restaurant is super affordable too! Hotel also contains a gift shop, and a travel booking facility to plan day trips! We would love to come back here and use the place as a base to explore Rajasthan.

The staff maybe weren't as friendly as some other places we stayed. Bathroom was also a little dirty and aged. Other than that nothing wrong!

The perfect heritage hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent café restaurant with delicious fresh homemade food. Lovely garden area to relax. The best staff - everyone so friendly and helpful! A wonderful stay and a great location.

Some recommendations which I think will make this a better place. Parking gets congested here. Please do something about it. Restaurant staff is very well trained. However, food needs some looking into. There was hair in cookies. According to FSSAI, egg products should be marked with non vegetarian sign not vegetarian sign. Ice cream was not up to mark. It was very tight as if it got melted and then frozen again. A little foot path around the lawn to walk in the evening would be appreciated. The water on hot tap was coming out yellow, very dirty water. Shower had very low pressure. I’m not expecting very high pressure but it should atleast be average.

Everything - the staff, ambience, food, garden, room. This place is a serene and relaxing paradise in an otherwise busy and loud city. I longed on some days (December) to return to the hotel and have some tea in their garden. They had healthy food options. We travelled with a two year old and the staff was understanding of our needs and demands. The kid enjoyed running around in their gardens. This hotel has a character that I miss in many other hotels - calm, cultured, hospitable but not submissive. The dinning hall says no to the phones and surely my family happily complied. The garden also hosts free to attend cultural activities. Why aren’t there more hotels like this?

The shower took a while to release hot water.

The city and hotel were packed. The staff stepped up to the situation. I noticed most guests were being checked in and allotted keys in record time. Being our first visit to the city, our stay at Arya Niwas complemented the trip - I don't think we'd have got the Jaipur vibes had we gone for something posh and 'expected'. Having said that, this place is for those comfortable with 'used and loved' infrastructure .... it's not for those looking for gleaming tiles, IKEA-ish minimalism, or well-appointed rooms.

The first night was unpleasant. I had requested twin beds. We got a single double instead. The room was bitterly cold. There weren't enough blankets. The heaters weren't working. There was no hygiene hose in the bathroom.... The next morning, we shared our concerns with the front desk. They immediately took action. By noon, they had things sorted, and our luggage was shifted to another room, which was perfect. I appreciate their quick response..... The bathtub (in our second room) needs maintenance.

Beds were very comfortable, rooms are spacious. The whole building has a nice old style. You can refill your bottles of water in every floor yourself. The room was quite warm. The breakfast amazing! Many choices, different every day, all is fresh and tasty. Great location,about 40min by walking from the architecture places, recommended to visit Hawa Mahal palace, worth for money and beautiful pics! Street markets very close, about 15min by walking and lasts for a few km. going to all architecture/history sites

No complaints, only on the door there was a small hole in the middle - peephole and from outside you can see our room what we are doing inside :) We added the cap on it the next day when we noticed it.

The hotel is beautiful, and the food was amazing! Many options for people who cannot handle very spicy food, like me. Also, the staff was very helpful and the store there actually sells souveniers for a very decent price. The garden with live music in the mornings is just perfect! A peaceful scape in the middle of the busy city!

I feel like the bathroom could have been cleaner since there was a weird thing in the wall. Just to clarify, the bathroom was NOT dirty, I didn't even complain about that thing in the wall, and I am 100% sure that they would have fixed it if I requested. But it was enough for me to rate my experience 9-9.5 rather than 10.

The rooms have the charm of yesteryears while having modern facilities (locker, mini fridge, electric kettle). The AC doubles up as the heater. The availability of the hot water always. Has ample open spaces and sit out areas. Areas like City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Bapu Bazar are just within 3-4 kms and in normal traffic takes just 10mins. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The breakfast spread was really good with both Indian and western options.

The location of the hotel is just about ok. Its just on the fringe of the better areas. The a la carte Indian dish options at dinner was limited and taste was not up to the mark. The only windows of the Superior Rooms open up towards the corridor thus making them not so usable. The absence of night lamps.
