Fantastic value for money hotel with wonderful views over the town and traditional architecture. Good location not far from Jaisalmer fort. Beautiful and huge room (they upgraded us for free) with high quality furniture and very comfy and big bed. The staff was very attentive since the moment we arrived, helping us to book a driver to visit sights outside the city and also to reach the airport. Excellent dinner at the rooftop restaurant with affordable price and great views over the Jaisalmer fort. Breakfast not included but affordable and they prepared it for us earlier to start our tour in the morning before our flight.

I wish we could have stayed longer and use their beautiful pool. The room floor was a little bit dusty, but it´s kind of normal considering that Jaisalmer is next to the desert.

Great hotel, very professional helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble, everything was facilitated with no hassle. Room and bathroom were spacious and elegant and it was excellent value for money.

No big deal but thought breakaways included in price but it was extra. Still good value though.

This hotel was by far the highlight of our holiday in Jaisalmer. The members of staff were helpful and understanding to our needs regarding restaurant recommendations and directions to the top tourist areas to visit and how to get there. The room that we had stayed in was clean and well-kept at all times. We would come back to the hotel in my future endeavors to Jaisalmer as it made my one-day holiday with my partner extra special. I would highly recommend it and in my humble opinion, I would give it 10/10.

Lal Garh Palace provided us with an unforgettable two-night stay. On the day we checked in, the owner upgraded us to a room with a view of the fort. He helped us plan our Jaisalmer tour and schedule, as well as book cabs for desert safaris. He is a true gentleman. The hotel and restaurant staffs were extremely helpful, friendly, and cooperative. I've never encountered such generous folks in my life. I would recommend, everyone to stay here and enjoy the wonderful meals and breathtaking views. It will make your vacation, more relaxing & calm. Also, it's a "go to place" for people who enjoy swimming.

Hotel offers very good standard. Rooms are clean and very big and they offer heater which is very much appreciated as nights in January are cold. Sandstone design is really impressive. Food in restaurant is delicious, you can try wide variety of India cuisine. Restaurant is on a roof top with amazing view!! Hotel has great location - walking distance from Jaisalmer Fort. India is very difficult destination, tiring, noisy, dirty, dangerous, you are expose to scam every minute, this is destination only for very skilled tourists and in this extreme and incredible madness Hotel Lal Garh Fort and Palace is a sanctuary of peace, security and cleanliness. Recommended 100%

no single thing to mention, everything was SUPER

This is a fabulous place to stay where everyone makes you feel so welcome. The room was even better than the photos with a spectacular view of the fort light up at night. It's very comfortable. The rooftop restaurant is lovely although in January it was a bit too cold to stay sitting out into the evening. During the daytime it's a great view and a lovely place to relax away from the City. Upon arrival I was provided with plenty of information about Jaisalmer and which places to visit which was very helpful. I would certainly stay here again as it was great value for money and I really enjoyed my stay.

Our room was huge and had a nice, sunny window seat and the fort could be viewed from the room. The bathroom was also very big and had two sinks (not two toilets as mentioned on the booking.com info). It was in easy walking distance of the old city. Laundry cost 30 INR per item, regardless of size, and was returned the same day. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Although the room had a view of the fort, the window was in dire need of cleaning on the outside. The room would have been a peaceful haven but for the incessant barking of dogs during the night.

The privilege to come again to this beautiful heritage place feels like being the lap of luxury, comfort & self-pampering. Royal experience... truly felt like a king and queen from the time, We entered and till the time we checked out.... each of the staff takes genuine efforts to make you feel special.
