The hotel staff was very friendly, very helpful and very polite. The rooms were very good. The breakfast was great. The staff at breakfast was so nice. Very friendly and very efficient. The food at dinner times was also very good. We had booked a tour to the Golden Temple and Pakistan Border through the hotel. It was wonderful. The auto was very comfortable and the driver was very nice and friendly. Great trip.

The only problem we had was at checkout. We had come down to checkout before breakfast. We told them we had our luggage in our room and had ordered a taxi the previous day as we were up early to catch a train. They told us no problem, for us to go ahead and have breakfast and all would be ready. After an hour, and after an hour after breakfast, our luggage was still not down, our taxi was not here, It was not pleasant. We kept telling them we had to catch the train and they kept saying "just one minute". After still no taxi, we went on the main road and caught a taxi to take us. Very stressful!! This ending was too bad considering everything else on our stay was nice.

The WiFi kept dropping out (daily) and needed to keep logging back in The bathroom had been used for smoking by a previous guest, and the stench was awful. The shower smelt of urine, made worse after a hot shower. It was also not clean. After raising with staff, some effort was made to clean it, lots of air freshener was used but the smell remained through our stay and the cleanliness was short of satisfactory Main rug in the suite was filthy. Pillows had ink all over them (replaced when requested) Slow service, albeit friendly staff throughout the hotel.

The location was great! Very central and a beautiful hotel. The staff were very attentive and helpful, they responded to requests promptly with the utmost courtesy. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious, compliments to the chef and dining staff for looking after us so well. Housekeeping were brilliant, it was so lovely to come back to a clean, fresh room after a long day out!.

The only thing I would say annoyed me was when key cards stopped working and we had to go down to reception to reactivate, this happened three times during our stay. It was also very noisy in the room when events were happening late into the night, music was very loud making it difficult to sleep.

Fortune Hotel, in the bustling centre of Jalandhar is well situated for multi-faith excursions and shopping around Model Town. The main bus station is also nearby. I found no faults in the Hotel’s cleanliness. Being a four-star hotel the overall comfort is above par and exceeded my expectations for Jalandhar, especially in value for money. Our room was pleasant, spacious, and accurately represented by the photos on Booking.com and ITC’s website. There’s a pleasant view of the city from the window, good sized desk, and well-maintained en-suite. The on-site restaurant (Orchid) provides excellent multi-cuisines, with signature dishes. The staff speak good English, fluent Hindi & Panjabi. I would like to compliment an excellent team of staff at Fortune Avenue: Sonika (for her warm personality, readiness to provide any help, and lovely conversations). Adarsh, Rohit, Juhi & Co (for the warm welcome during check-in and check-out). Inder & Ankit (for checking on us when waiting for taxis). Hardeep, Ankush, Paramveer, Krishan & Co (for catering to our dining whims with respect and kindness). All staff providing us with room service, in-room dining, and the great security team. The Hotel provides free high-speed Wi-Fi, which can connect two devices at once. Overall, I would recommend Fortune Avenue to those looking for a splendid hotel. We will use this hotel again! The restaurant was of a high standard and Ankit and his team including Ankush were giving a very high standard of service, they need to be rewarded for all their hard work and commitment to ITC Group. Our room was cleaned daily again to a high standard but we cant remember the young ladies name in charge.

We liked everything.

Breakfasts were excellent all staff interested in what we were doing. Krishan ,Ankit Sonika, particularly brilliant 👏 2 of us were gluten free and chef would go above and beyond to bring us food. When we were going on road trip early in the morning they packed up fruit and cucumber sandwiches. Reception staff Adarsh & Juhi always courteous. We were absolutely impressed by everyone at this hotel.

No outside area or lounge to relax. Swimming pool would have been great.

The room was comfortable. The staff were guiding us for the entire trip to come to the facility. Food is good. The location is on the main road accessible to all areas.

There is no complimentary breakfast in the price. By default I was expecting that but to my surprise it was not there and had to pay the bill.

The best part was easy to check-in and checkout thanks, To Juhi

There was a slight steam in my floor and also there was a lot of noise which kept me up late otherwise everything else was great.

Clean modern and amazing hospitality. Was a treat to stay at. Will be staying again . Great location too central and well connected. One of the best in Jalandhar. A special shout out to Juhi and Malkit who made my stay a pleasure. Thank you guys :)

ROOM NO. - 409, Room size was good, Location is Good about 10 mins in car from Railway Station, The location is surrounded by McD, Burger King, D Mart so essentials can be very easily manageable. The Dine- In menu did not levied any service charge that was another plus staying there. Though prices are little high but quantity is good.
