We had arrived a bit early around 08:00 AM and they let us check in without much fuss. Breakfast was excellent and staff were quite willing to help - we wanted crispy dosa and we got that. Choices available for breakfast is also excellent. We had an issue with the taxi that we had arranged from a local company. It was an unsafe vehilce and we asked them to drop us back to the hotel. Hotel staff went out of their way and though all their own vehicles were unavailable they arranged one from their supplier in no time. Want to thank Ms. Ayesha for going out of her way in arranging this so speedily. We had already checked out and there was no compulsion on them to arrange something for us. The attitude of the staff at gate, reception and concierge just makes one realise how Taj excels in customer care.

Wish we had a better view of the lawn from our room. As we had arrived early and wanted to move in quickly they provided us with what was available. I am not saying this as a criticism but I hope next time when we visit we can get a room that lets us enjoy the beautiful garden and lawns.

The overall hospitality, the smooth check-in, the fulfillment of special requests for bouquets and cake in our room prior to reaching the room, and The hospitality of the spa services for both Males and Females. The overall ambiance and mesmerizing feel of the whole property, everything, and every bit of it to the last was awesome. Special mention to The male physiotherapist in the spa. He was excellent and exceeded expectations. He knows his job in and Out.

I feel the room size was small and didn't feel it was value for money. The snacks and the mini-bar offered in the room were exuberantly charged, at least some things should ve been complimentary apart from breakfast. You could've done like this- make one snack and one drink complimentary and the rest could've been chargeable.

Had a wonderful stay at Taj Lucknow….as usual, incomparable. The service top notch. Right from checkin - with Shraddha smoothly with a wonderful smile, calmly troubleshooting our erroneously cancelled booking by Booking.com due to server and technical problems 😘🙏🏼 - to the staff at Sahib Cafe - Chandra, Sudhir, Brashban, Sharad. and Mr.Shekhar who looked after us so well.. And of course, the chef who was so happy to cater to our every little whim. 😊😊. The housekeeping staff of course - Lalit, Khushboo, Sangram and Anil who kept our rooms spotlessly clean and happy to oblige our smallest request 😊👍 and Always a smile and a lovely greeting. The Concierge Mithilesh - warmly helping and out sourcing so many of our inquiries with a wonderful smile 👍 We have stayed at various Taj hotels and as usual have found the service impeccable. Always made to feel so very. welcome.

Thank you everyone at Taj Lucknow for making us so welcome and so comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who always have a Ile on their face and go out of their way to serve you. We were greeted by Poonam and Mithilesh on arrival who took care of all the check in formalities. Mithilesh was always available to help with anything and everything during our stay. Anil and Lalith from housekeeping made sure we were comfortable everything in our room. in the restaurant we were served mainly by Chandra, Sudhir, Brashban and Sharad who were all excellent. A big thank you to all of them. Finally Shraddha on reception and Bhagat at the swimming pool deserve a mention.

My senior citizen parents stayed here and they are grateful to Taj Mahal Lucknow for making their trip the most memorable. They wanted to visit and explore Lucknow and surroundings yet weren’t sure where to stay. I chose Taj Mahal, yes I am glad I did. Right from the time of reservation, pickup from airport till the drop at Lucknow Railway Station today, Taj Mahal Lucknow took care of everything. The Lucknowi warmth of the staff, the elegance of the structure, the manicured gardens, the exceptionally clean and cosy rooms, the services with a personal touch and the food won the heart of my parents. The initial plan was a stay of three days, and then I got it extended by two more days based on the positive feedback by my parents. I would particularly like to thank Mr. Mithilesh Ray, Mr. Arjun, Mr. Tushit and Mr. Ravi for the seamless transactions, the warmth, care and arrangement they ensured for my parents in my absence. I truly respect the professionalism they demonstrated at every step. They lived up to our expectations of Taj hospitality. In my personal trip to Lucknow I will definitely choose my stay at Taj Mahal. Thank you.

it’s a stunning property very well maintained. it was being renovated so while we had the suite there was a strong varnish and paint smell. the staff showed us another suite but that was not according to our requirements so we stayed in the original suite. Yogesh at Saheb cafe was lovely. Awadhesh the driver was lovely. the housekeeping staff were also lovely

the property has huge potential. the front desk staff needs some training while all other staff were very attentive. the front staff were not good at follow through and were easily stressed. our suite had a private garden which we could hardly enjoy as at any given point there were 5-7 people cleaning or pruning or painting right at our doorstep. this was a privacy issue as well. we had to finally talk to the duty manager Tushit who immediately moved the staff. my suggestion would be to clean while cleaning the room or when the guest is not in the room.

Breakfast OK but quality of ingredients going down. Sausages cereal no longer 5 star standards. Then desi culture creeping in. Teas in glasses this bun maska thing. Not corporate. Not for public school crowd. Well but I must admit that most of the crowd in there now is PLT people like them and not PLU people like us.

It was December 28. The Climate Control system didn't go above 21 deg C to 26 in heating mode. Bad. We slept with the system off.

Staff were very accommodating of the room preference request and the birthday surprise. Breakfast was delicious, with an exceptionally friendly but unobtrusive staff. The car tour of the city was very satisfying, with Taj being very helpful with my requests during shopping and him being on top of the schedule considering my flight time. It was a perfect weekend holiday for me!

most beautiful property in Lucknow with awesome breakfast and most courteous staff & service ! way beyond expectations as well ! Shraddha at front desk was so kind and helpful and considerate she helped me change rooms due to some reason and as a kind gesture decorated the room & placed and awesome cake … gave us a upgrade overall just SUPERB !!

in room guest services is a little slow

A unique and charming property ! We loved the grandeur of the colonial structure, old world charm captured perfectly by the rich yet elegant interior, verdant green of the stately gardens, Lucknow's famous Ganga-Jamuni Tehjeeb and impeccable service from Taj ! Melt in your mouth galouti kebab with sheermal bread accompanied by soulful ghazals in a darbar like set up - dinners were fit for royalties !

The Salon and the gym could be better. A small reading place with books on history of Lucknow and old historical pictures on the wall - would be nice. The boutique could have a better stock of local art and craft.
