A good resort in general, very close to the beach. The breakfast is good, though not incredible. The employees are kind and happy to help. The ambiance is calm with no noise, making it perfect for families and couples

The first room offered to us had a strong unpleasant smell, as if it had recently been painted or had been closed for a long time. In the new room, which we had no problem switching to, the view was terrible—actually, there was no view at all, as a wall was right in front of our room. If you're looking for privacy, this room is a good choice. However, if you enjoy a good view, I would recommend avoiding this one

Location of the resort, safe and easy access to the beach is an highlight.

The non-veg options were very poor and needs a major uplift. The front desk staff could be a little more friendly and provide some information on places of attraction, tentative charges of the car rentals etc. There was a cold response from one of the staff members when I asked a question about what the typical charges would be for a car rental. I don’t think customers would hold Riva accountable for providing information about a third-party service provider.

Location was awesome, lot of options for kids. Swimming pool was well maintained. Beach was very easily accessible and it was pristine. Breakfast and dinner was awesome, lot of options. The staff was courteous and prompt to our requests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

The resort should be elder friendly too. There are too many steps to reach the main area from the entrance. Some railing or support should be provided so that elderly visitors and people with walking disability can climb up and down the stairs easily.

The resort itself is very well located. The beach is easily accessible and is quite a nice one at that. The breakfast was excellent with all the usual variety of items one would expect at a lavish breakfast. For our (and I mean Bhartiya vegetarian) palette there were enough options including dosas etc.

I really feel that the room itself could have been better. Maybe time for high quality new mattresses from a brand (Symphony, Sleep Company, etc.) and new sheets. Just the overall ambience of the room could have been better. No complaints as such as it was very much value for money, but a suggestion for future.

The housekeeping staff especially a gentleman by name of John (a tenured employee), was exceptional. He understands the relevance of customer care well. Area was well maintained and clean. Staff were quick to service when needed. Food quality and tasty. Valet service staff were wonderful too.

Breakfast was not warm enough, let alone hot. One staff at pool was quite rude to most of guests.

We loved our stay at Riva. The location of the resort between the main road and beach is excellent and easy to access. The resort is perfect for families, very kid friendly. The staff is very helpful and responding, special mention to Divya who helped us with our requests. The food is really good including the breakfast spread. Highly recommended!

The only feedback we had was for the room maintenence and upkeep. The rooms need refurbishment and the cleaning has to be better which we thought was done in haste.

Amazing property and the staff was very welcoming. I went with my family, they made sure to make our stay comfortable .

There is a room for improvement in cleaning,its not too bad but can be worked on, especially the bathroom and supplies. Also property should be more stroller/wheelchair accessible.

The locations, rooms were clean, staff is proactive. Private access to the beach, and the breakfast spread was amazing.

Checkout can be better. If you consume any items from the fridge in the room, they take a long time to checkout and generate the bill. I had a flight to catch so told them to WhatsApp Messenger the outstanding dues. This can be made a lot quicker.

Stayed here for 3 nights to attend a friend's wedding. It's a self contained resort with immediate beach access and perfectly suited to weddings and other events. Rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast and 24/7 cafe are good. Best thing is if you are travelling by road from the North side (Amboli ghat) it's very close to the border so you don't waste time commuting.

The housekeeping service could be better. They didn't clean my room till I specifically requested them to. Staff is also not super well trained for a place that charges as much as they do.

Excellent hotel with a large, beautiful, green, and well-maintained area. The rooms are comfortable, cozy, and clean, and the staff is friendly. The beach is beautiful.

One disadvantage is the absence of beach loungers. We had to use loungers from neighboring cafes. They also don't provide beach towels, so you have to find them yourself in the stores.
