The La Ri Sa Hotel & Resort close to Mussorie is a beautiful refugium to relax and enjoy the magic of the foothills of the Himalayas. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and very comfortable, giving this place the status of a boutique hotel. The staff is extremely friendly in a natural way and very helpful, trying everything to make your stay a truly enjoyable experience. The Chef Dinesh and his kitchen team prepare the most delicious meals and breakfasts. If you are looking for a getaway in the foothills of the Himalayas I very much recommend this very special place.

The food was very good in taste and service was also excellent. All the staff was polite and cooperative.

The Larisa Mussorie resort was very good location for nature loving peoples but no sign board was found on the road and there was big confusion when you take turn from Dehradune -Mussorie highway to resort that is approx 12 kms. Goggle map showed us short route but this route has many dangerous curve and steep height but another alternate route is available but you dont find it on Goggle map. One big board sign may be put at this place. From main road to reach Larisa Resort you need a expert driving skill or call the resort they will arrange the driver to reach the resort and park you car.

One of the best properties around Mussoorie. It was such a beautiful resort with amazing facilities in Mussoorie. The rooms were luxurious with a 5-star quality. It had a very beautiful view from the edge of the mountain and anyone would love it. Their morning breakfast and dining was really good and cozy.

I would say I liked everything. But if I need to say something, the property is around 100-200m from the road and the path is quite steep. Self drive cars could be challenging to reach but they have a facility driver and car to pick you up from the road which would make it easy.

Excellent staff and service beyond expectations. They are a bunch of finest that you will get to take care of you !!! can’t thank them enough for the way they extended themselves to make our stay comfortable. The food was awesome and the chef was one of the finest I have ever seen. Right from Shyam at the reception to Mohan and every other member of the team are worth their weight on gold !!! Thank you guys.

The approach from the main road to the property was rather tricky and needs to be addressed. It’s too tight and too steep for the mid to big sized cars.

The hospitality and service of the staff was exceptional. They were so polite and served us so well, with a constant smile on their face. Super prompt service and very helpful staff. Vinod, Bipin, Shyam and Akshay were great and helped us a lot. I can say the staff and service here is comparable or even better that 5 star properties.

Only 2 points for improvement: (1) our cottage - whistling duck's bathroom had a constant stench - though the staff helped by putting in air freshners constantly - think it was something to do with the smell of recycled water. Also, the wooden flooring just outside the bathroom was a bit wobbly but nothing major. (2) our TV was not functioning - which again the staff tried their best to fix but could not - this did not hamper our stay in any way.

Beautiful boutique property.excellent view..excellent service.Mr. Akshay Kumar,the manager of the resort made sure we had a comfortable stay and all our needs are taken care of. My daughter was unwell the second day we checked in, Mr.Akshay arranged the resort vehicle to take her to the hospital and he went out of his way and accompanied us and also handled the procedure required at the hospital...I cannot thank him enough for this...need I say more??the level of hospitality is beyond exceptional.KEEP IT UP ..Hoping to be back soon

resort is in a beautiful and serene environment. but location is not directly accessible by own car, have to depend on the property for shuttle. The property entrance is on a tiny road (scary for new comers) which is accessible on foot or their shuttles. should advertise it in the description. my phone did not work so could not see the property's instructions sent to me that day. At least send the instructions a week before so that if peoples phones dont work on the ghat roads they can still have all the details pre-downloaded and people know what to expect. Another incident which let us down is the rooms that were given to us on the first day had great views. Our entire group was together in rooms with great views. But some other party was promised those rooms i guess, they told us repair reasons and sent us to another rooms on a corner with no views. Next day we saw no repair works but another party staying in those rooms. So in between the stay we had to check out and check into another room.

Hospitality was exemplary. Staff was very courteous & helpful. Location was a bit away from mainstream Mussoorie but we knew it beforehand. Book this property if you want to find peace & calm. Not for people expecting a buzzing feel. Special mention to the the manger of the property - Akshay. He is a great host and goes out of the way to engage with the tourists.

Overall experience got amazingly enjoyable and comfortable because of the hospitality of the staff. Great stay. It certainly became a benchmark for us to measure hospitality standards from here on. Kudos to Mr. Akshay ( Manager who took care of all the arrangements) Also a note of gratitude to Mr Madan ji.( Sr. Driver there who took care of our exploring mussoorie times with humble nature and driving skills to rely on). Highly recommended!!
