The location, cleanliness. Staff at gate, valley, room service lift.

Their lift which has to be improved mandatory. Their front desk staff needs to improve at least at par of other 5 star hotels front desk staff. They do not know how to smile!

Basically At the last moment i choose Surya Hotel, The cost was i paid i fill its much higher compare to my regular stay.

Location and Comfort

The hotel was the best in our trip in India BUT we spent just a night and we couldn’t sleep AT ALL! The room next to us made a party with alcohol and almost 10 people (at least we heard some different voices) We called the reception the whole night till 4am!! We went to say to this group to stop the party but was a waste of time. Also my husband knocked the door with the receptionist… they just said “ok” but 10 minute later the music continued very loud. Today we slept 12 hours in our new destination, we were very TIRED.

The room next to us

I enjoyed my stay in The Suryaa very much. It is ideally located in South Delhi close to the metro station Sukhdev Vihar and surrounded by the New Friends Colony neighborhood with its banks, shops, and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was very rich with Indian and Western dishes, and so was the dinner buffet. On the ground floor, there is a spa and a well-equipped fitness center with a jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. There is also a large outdoor pool which invites for relaxing. The hotel staff was always friendly and helpful, especially the housekeeping under Rama Dev who did a great job by keeping the room clean and tidy every day. I would definitely want to return to this hotel again.

I wish there were a larger selection of coffee in the restaurant.

Location is good. Clean and good for family stay. The hotel is situated in a safe and convenient area, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. The rooms are well-maintained and spotlessly clean, perfect for families looking for a comfortable place to stay. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making sure that all guests have a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for families looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable stay.

Room was nice but dated. The upgraded rooms were much nicer. We had upgraded rooms before our tour started. The breakfast was very good. Had a small but nice market next door that was open late.

The staff was very stiff. They helped but just bearly. The hotel is a long way from most of the things you wanted to see. Traffic is horrible so distance matters. It was very expensive relative to other hotels. We stayed closer to the airport our first night at a decent hotel before moving to the tour hotel for 6 times the cost. You can get a nice hotel more closer to what you want to see in Dehli for much less. If you want to stay in a hotel like you would in the states and pretend you never left stay here. I would not stay here again.

The breakfast is a good spread ..the staff are very welcoming and attentive ..special shout out to Dulu (from the night staff).

Rooms in 4th floor smell of smoke ..(430 to 446) side..I did complain about this . My kids were given a smoked n room and caused them nausea and vomiting. Please make sure your policies are adhered to and make the cleaning staff to make sure smoked in rooms are cleaned .

Located in South Delhi close to Nehru place, lotus temple, humayun tomb, metro station and short drive to nizamuddin railway station it is ideal for tourists or business or leisure travellers. There is a shopping centre just next door. The hotel has a well decorated lobby, the decor and lighting gives it an exclusive look. The rooms are good sized and clean. The best thing about the place is it's staff, starting from the doorman to the reception staff, catering and housekeeping. Very pleasant and smiling, willing to help before you can ask. Breakfast was great, wide range of Indian and continental dishes, excellent service.

The carpets and decor in the room is a bit tired looking and should be freshened. There is no separate pedesterian entrance or exit for the hotel. You just have to walk down the drive and negotiate the barriers. Room windows should have better sound proofing. Aircon temperature doesn't drop below 20C, felt hot at night.

The Hotel was great. The room, I have no complains at all. Everything was great. The best part was the staff. They were super polite, kind and helpful. The bar was very good and the bartenders were nice. The restaurant was very clean and great service but the buffet was redundant and repetitive (yet good). The restaurant has the potential to be much nicer. The location is OK I guess... regardless of the location you can be anywhere in no time by taxi.

I have nothing bad to say about the hotel. However the taxis working for the hotel, they take advantage of non Indians and want to charge you 800R for a 200R ride. The money is not an issue but their ways are not nice. If you have Uber use it, it's much better. Or go outside the hotel and stop a random Taxi.

I was in Delhi for my son’s medical treatment at Fortis Escort Hospital. I stayed in the hotel for 3 weeks (May 27 to June 17, 2023)! The hotel location was excellent! proximity to the Fortis Escort Hospital, eateries, pharmacy and shops was another great advantage. The hotel in general was very clean, neat, and the beddings were very comfy. The staff were very polite and helpful (always smiling even if you are making a complain) from the gate, front desk, housekeeping and restaurant. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Mrs. Heena (housekeeping) she was so nice and dedicated to her job and has been so nice to my child always making animals with towels for him, the restaurant team that made us feel at home away Pradeev, Khusboo, Jevand, Avinash, Himaushu, Krishna, Rajesh, Pretem to mention afew and of course Thei (the Pan cake queen!) for their excellence and making us feel so at home. I want to give a thumbs up for the Chef de cuisine Mr Arshi who ensured we had our food is as we requested, I say thank you! I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast and dinner. My sincere appreciation also so to Mrs. Sharda and Miss Priyanka for the wonderful decorations, gifts and cake on my son’s birthday we can’t thank you enough it really made my son’s day! Thank you Mr Sunil at the barber shop for the African hair cut! I will definitely be back whenever am in New Delhi, India. Dhanyavaad!!
