Stunning property with a fantastic view of the fort. Location is perfect, amenities and service are fantastic to match the splendor.

There is a mosque just next to the property where the call to prayer is very loud early in the morning. The rooms require better sound proofing or the mosque needs to turn down the volume. Additionally in terms of the concierge service Ossian is one of the proposed destinations, it is sold as a desert excursion. Unfortunately it was very disappointing, it first of all was not dunes in a desert but rather a sandy portion of some private property where a jeep drives around in it and short camel rides are offered. For a hotel of this caliber and service standard it is a shame they partnered with such a low tiered gimmick of an activity.

Architecture of the hotel is very nice - combines the new & the old, garden view from our huge bedroom, excellent restaurant and breakfast, attentive staff, nice hamman, right in the old city

The hotel is just next to the mosque and it is really a deterrent!!! For one reason or the other (not the case elsewhere in Rajasthan / other mosques) here the priest does a live sermon that lasts close to 1 hr around 7pm and you can hear it loud and clear. In addition, the tone of voice from this person is very harsh - wondering if he is even showing/displaying hatred to others... and it is extremely loud - you cannot have a drink on the rooftop at this time!! way too loud. Really a problem for a 5* hotel in our opinion. Second thing to improve, NO gym in a 5* hotel is not acceptable either. This should be corrected...

The unique design & the central location next to the Fort and the Stepwell. The staff were wonderful & the food was outstanding, we enjoyed delicious breakfasts & had a fantastic meal in the RAAS restaurant overlooking the Fort. We also went to the Stepwell Cafe (accessed by a private passageway from the RAAS) and ate on the Stepwell Cafe rooftop overlooking the steps and fort. The RAAS rooftop bar was also excellent. The jewellery shop within the hotel has a stunning selection of jewellery. The hotel was calming and peaceful considering it's location!

This might be the most impressive hotel I've ever been to. We loved everything about our stay, the service, the food, our room, the view, the pool. But most of all, the architecture. This hotel is a true architectural marble. A perfect blend between antique and contemporary. You should definitely stay here when visiting Jodphur.

This was the most expensive place we stayed at during our trip through India. Yet it was worth every cent.

The RAAS Jodhpur is simply a delight. We arrived a day early (having checked out of previous hotel as it wasn’t up to scratch) and the RAAS team were welcoming and superb ‘hosts’. the setting is magical… easy access to everywhere by Tuk Tuk or by hotel car. The staff are, we found, amazing. The Stepwell Suite is, for us, perfect and having previously stayed in a lux room we would always prefer the Stepwell Suite for space, views and privacy. An amazing visit - just can’t wait to visit again. In our experience the hotel merits a 5 or 6 night stay - so you can pace yourselves, relax and still see all the beautiful sites in and around Jodhpur.

nothing… it’s simply perfect “thank you”!

So here’s the lovely thing… having stayed here before about 2 years ago we had no hesitation when our previous hotel wasn’t quite up to scratch of contacting the RAAS and asking to add an extra night to our already booked 5 day stay. We are in The Stepwell Suite… so much more space than the rooms. A stunning view of the fort and amazing view directly over the Stepwell - this couldn’t be bettered - a fantastic suite (it layout is unusual to say the least BUT suits us perfectly and if you like a bit more space and privacy then this is the suite for you). The staff are amazing… many kindly remembering us from our previous stay and all making us feel very welcome indeed. We have written this review after the (extra) 1 night stay and now we have 5 more to look forward to and enjoy. It is an amazing hotel - super location. Not too ‘pretentious’ or stuffy. A really good location for the Clock Tower and shopping or for Tuk Tuk rides around the town.

I’m deaf and ‘MY’ problem is hearing the staff well enough… that’s no reflection upon the staff who all try really hard. I forgot sometimes how hard it must be to communicate with me. So really absolutely nothing negative about the wonderful RAAS Jodhpur

The hospitality exceeded expectations. I say this sincerely and as a person who travels frequently to 5 star hotels around the world, I am strongly leaning toward saying this was the best 5 star hotel experience I have experienced from the attention to detail in noting my preferences from my food and drink orders from day 1 to anticipating every need without request or without needing to “find someone” to pay attention. I’d honestly go back to Jodhpur just to go back to stay here.

Honestly, that I couldn’t move in and live there.

The Stepwell Suite is too noisy, it is difficult to sleep at any time due to the street noises travelling through the walls very easily. Also the disconnected rooms for children to parents makes for an uncomfortable situation from a safety aspect. It meant the children were too scared to sleep in their room and shared a room with parents. Likewise, as parents were not convinced that it was safe to have children in a separate building to us.

Incredible stay and discovery of RAAS properties. Perfection is found everywhere, from the warm welcome at the reception as you arrive. The pleasing pastel colors everywhere on the property and the rooms. The designs, the food, the spa, the pool… everything is thought through and done with class, style and perfection. All your senses are are heightened during your stay. Five star treatment and level of care for their guests.

There is absolutely Nothing to dislike.

the hotel is really wonderful, worth the money. take the apartment with the view of the fort. it is stunning. swimming pool is fantastic, restaurant too. the hotel is smaller than seemed to me in the pictures, which I found great. staff was fantastic . they have very good tipping policy of leaving the tip during check out and in the restaurant and bar 10% service already added to the price. it is convenient and allows you to enjoy the stay. the calling from the mosque was not that bad, short and even in the early morning you can fall asleep again if woken up
