We stayed in two rooms next to each other, with plenty of space for our family of five. The buildings are beautiful with very nice furniture. The beds were comfortable. Rooms clean. Nice towels and sheets. We ate breakfast three mornings in a row which was freshly cooked. The rooftop views are excellent. Anu was a motivated host who dedicated herself to ensure we were well looked after. The location is excellent for the city palace, as it’s only a short walk. Udaipur is definitely worth visiting and is much more peaceful and cleaner than Jaipur or Jodhpur, for example.

The property was easy to locate and conveniently situated within walking distance of the City Palace. Although we had booked a room at Sun Heritage Home, we were given one in Sun Heritage Villa, just a minute away. Both locations were equally impressive, and we were offered a choice of 4-5 rooms across both properties. Food deliveries from apps like Swiggy were quick and hassle-free, and there were excellent restaurants nearby as well. While the sink had a minor leak, it was nothing major and likely fixable had we reported it. We ordered breakfast one morning, and though it was simple, we were pleased to have options like chai, coffee, poha, and eggs to kick-start the day. Upon request, we were provided with a kettle for warm water, which was a thoughtful touch. There was also a water filter on the ground floor that was accessible anytime. The building had an old-world charm, and while some of the older switches didn't work, the newer ones were fully functional, so it wasn't an issue. They lock the main door at night but were always prompt to open it when we ordered food. Overall, this was the best place we could have found, offering a homely atmosphere and great accessibility. Cleanliness is a top priority for me, and they ensured everything was impeccably clean and hygienic, which made our stay all the more enjoyable.

We had wonderful stay at Sun Heritage Home. Lovely breakfast in the morning on the roof terrace which we particularly enjoyed. A nice location about a 10 minute walk from the centre but the house is set back from the main road so felt like a lovely retreat to come back to each night.

Response of the owner to our request for early checkin was prompt and very helpful.The room size was good and the staff Mr.Karan Singh and Prem were very helpful.Location was in the close vicinity of all the attractions and within walking distance.

We chose the top floor room, which is not as pretty as the other rooms but it benefits from a lovely roof terrace. Breakfast on the rood was nice and the owners are friendly and helpful. Its in a quiet courtyard off a fairly quiet street.

The property is in Old Udaipur area with City Palace at a walking distance. It looks really beautiful and and is serene, away from all the noises of city. The owners are really helpful and courteous and accommodated us earlier than their usual check-in time. The staff was also always on their toes to assist us with anything.

It could be great to have an in-room menu but it's not necessary as the place is surrounded by many restaurants.

We stayed only for night, food served was very tasty and was presented very hygenically. We loved the treditional ambiance. But the Property in itself is excellent. Host is very welcoming and caring. Rooms are neat clean and have fresh bedding and bathroom linens. We were travelling with our pet, and room was pet friendly.

The approach roads is an issue. Apart from this we liked everything. We loved our stay hence on our way back we again stayed there for the night.

Lovely spacious room, lots of light and with everything you could possibly need. Away from the main road and a really lovely rooftop area with views for relaxing. The owner is is an adventurer, philosopher and a great chef... Breakfasts were delicious.

Beautiful heritage hotel with clean rooms in a quiet setting. It was fab to be away from the loud city. We had a comfy bed and lovely terrace which we lounged on! 100% woukd recommend. Wish we had booked more nights here.

It would have been nice to have had a kettle in the room and a bottle of water.

Our host, Mr. Boheda was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and we were able to get some laundry done over the course of our stay. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and we got good sightseeing tips from Mr. Boheda as well!
