The location is really what sells this place. You have a nice view out of the room, and the room itself is OK. It's interesting to note how the different the standard is in Zostel in Jodhpur and Udaipur. This one in Udaipur is a bit shabby, the sheets are heavy and the bed mattress is not that comfortbale but you have AC and the quiet.

The bed, although spacious was not as comfortable as the one in Jodhpur. In general, I found the building to be more old and less meiantained and renovated compared to Zostel in Jodhpur.

A lot of the famous spots are walkable from zostel. We stayed in one of the private rooms which was beautifully designed taking inspiration from the city's heritage. Even the food we ordered at their cafe was simple and tasty. The common room was also cozy and had interactive games and the rooftop has a lovely view. Mr Kishan at the reception is extremely helpful and wonderful. Our overall stay was pleasant and enjoyable!

It was a property developed for backpackers. It is definitely alive for money. The food, esp. Poha was delicious.

Everything was perfect considering the price point. What was weird was the water heating system. Apparently they switch the geyser on at a particular point during the day and it takes 15 minutes for the water to heat up. I faced an issue every single day and had to adjust. I hope Zostel rectifies this because warm water is a basic necessity and they have a complicated system.

The room had a lot of space, nice bathroom, and a good view of the lake. The hostel’s facilities were very good with a good social area. Drinking water was provided. The restaurant was what you would expect from a hostel; good for the value. Overall, a really good stay.

There was no option for a late check-out. There were constant power cuts (from the monsoon but still frustrating). They provided tea and sugar in the room but not coffee, which isn’t a massive problem but would be nice.

It is situated in a good location, we can walk to most of the sites. Also view from the room is excellent and the room and bathroom size are quite good and the bed was also comfortable.

I went out in the morning around 7:30 am and came back by 9 am. After coming back I couldn't find my earring that I kept just above the coffee table. Also, I think they should make a better locker where people can keep their luggage after checking out rather than keeping everyone's luggage in one small room.

Everything about the Hostel was just amazing. The food was delicious, the location is right next to the lake and very convenient, and the rooms and facilities are also great. Would definitely recommend to any solo travellers planning to visit Udaipur. Pro tip: come on the weekends.

Nice location away from the bustling centre. Our room was big, nicely decorated and even had a seating area. The view from roof terrace was great and the staff were helpful with reasonably priced food.

Not much to complain about, the AC could’ve been quieter and the bathroom could have an extractor fan.

Really liked the location and the view from our room provided to us. The manager was very cooperative.

The service of other staff was quite rude. Asked several times for coffee saches but didn't respond. I went to the welcome lobby to get it from their staff.

The rooms were clean, they arranged the food for us even though we reached after their kitchen close.

There is no 4 wheeler parking facility in this hotel and it is not even mentioned in the booking specifications. Even though the hotel people contacted me like 4-5 times, they weren't informed about the parking facility.

The facility was neat and well maintained. A relaxed atmosphere and cooperative staff. A nice common area and roof space

The restaurant could be much better. It's written that it opens at 8 but I had to wait till 9 and then go out to find some breakfast. Couldn't help but feel a bit cramped in the dorms.
