Overall living roof was an awesome experience..the food was good, rooms were clean and staff were really good..However the night before we left , there were group of people who stayed opposite to us were poorly behaved...they were probably drinking and talking loudly, and since we were just staying opposite to them, it was clearly audible..i waited till 1 a.m thinking they might stop it by then, but no, guess they were planning to stay whole night..i confronted them and asked them politely if they could lower their voice ..but it went on till 3 a.m and i couldn't , infact i didnot get to sleep the whole night..moreover they had a fight and someone broke someone's nose, they had to rush to a hospital.. If you could look into all this and maybe not allow late night partying and stuff according to situation, it will be really helpful..Thank you

Had the most pleasant experience at this tastefully done hotel. The food was amazing especially the cutlet and the pizza . The property is small with just seven rooms and that adds to the charm of the place. The owners and staff are very helpful and friendly. The cherry on top is that the property is pet friendly with a resident dog - such a loveable girl, Lassi! She made our stay EXTRA warm and fun. Would love to visit and stay again!

All the staff at the property was very hospitable and I ended up extending my stay as well. Rooms were tidy and they were always on top of everything. Special thanks to Ankit & Demchi for always being there for me whenever I needed something. If I ever come back to Shillong, definitely gonna spend a couple of nights staying at Living roof again.

Location of the hotel is very nice. It is a bit away from the market, which makes it quiet but still comfortably accessible if you have a vehicle. The staff is very cooperative. The owner herself came to help about our questions regarding the travel. They are very helpful. Food is excellent. I would stay at the same hotel if I visit Shillong again.

They are not early risers if you want to start your day early.

Really nice rooms, super clean, comfortable bed and a working clean warm shower. You get two mugs with a free water bottle and a boiler + tea to make some if you’d like. The staff is really welcoming and listening to your needs, I strongly recommend it.

If you eat there, the food price is quite high, you will be getting charged way too much compared to any other restaurant.

Had a very pleasant stay. The owners are present at the property to help with every small things. They helped with the itinerary and suggested us good places to explore. Will definitely recommend to stay at this cozy place.the staff is friendly and cooperative.

Such a great place! Very comfy bed and nice quiet location. The owners are incredibly helpful and helped us to arrange a 5-day itinerary in Meghalaya which was life saving. The cafe terrace also has a great view and the coffee is delicious! Would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Living Roof is one of the best place to stay in the hub of shillong, you can reach to Laitumkhrah which is the hot spot for all types generation of people and can hang up there as there are lots of cafes.Police Bazaar is also very near and can get an easy taxi from Living Roof road side, the staffs and people around are very good and awesome, the rooms provide you an excellent stay of 5 star hotels with excellent services. I would like to go again and again. Please go for it without second thoughts

The place is amazing for a stay with your friends or family. The host here was very welcoming and helpful. They also have a very nice cafe where you can chill. The good was also nice here.
