The best think I liked about the hotel is the call from hotel I used to get everyday in the evening asking politely sir how is your stay?Any help needed sir?Sir everything is fine with room or any assistance required?Very polite staff and management and off course Sarovar is always favorite for food anywhere I stays in Sarovar Portico across Country.Very neat and clean room, everything was well placed in room,very fast assistance in case of any requirements like everything that requires in room during stay.

20Km away from Shimla that one thing was bothered but once you will go in hotel you will feel 20km is worth travelling more for such a good stay

Rooms are bit overpriced. Food is overpriced as you practically cannot go outside hotel for food most of the time. Cabs available from the hotel traveldesk are also charging exorbitantly.. Balconies need grill or netting to protect from monkey invasion.

The property should have reasonable stay and food provision for the drivers.

The staff is very helpful. From reception to restaurant. Especially Mr. Sahil in restaurant. He took care of all our needs in breakfast. There maintenance team is also available in one call if you have any issue like we had in TV.

They are charging extra for playing outdoor badminton, indoor TT, pool,etc. Even after charging they don't have quality shuttles, rackets, etc.

The price of the food was too expensive, wasn't worthy..... drinking water in the room was also chargeable.... And the most important thing Discrepancy and Bill calculation wasn't properly mentioned that what was the all extra charges about. Even after reaching the hotel they asked us to wait for 2 hours more to do the check in.

Proactive staff and very helpful. Facilities were good and easily accessible. Special thanks to housekeeping and room service for being available 24/7. My kid was not feeling well at 2 PM night and the staff was available to help.

Activity area should be part of package instead of being chargeable. Buffet food variety was limited.

The room sizes and the valley view from the room, you will get the first sunlight on your room. Far from the hustle & bustle of the city, perfect for a peaceful vacation.

Property is in mashobra, which is almost 45 mins drive from the mall road shimla.

Its a beautiful property esp the cottages. Food is awesome, though a bit more variety is needed. Staff is very helpful.

Couple of times after snowfall I was asked to bring family to restaurant for food. I was travelling with elder parents to whom it was not possible to walk in snow to the restaurant, It was very hard to explain thia to hotel staff.

property location is seasoned but nothing is accessible, very good location in case you visit this place by your own vehicle/ hired cab.
