What I liked most about my stay at Sunhill Portico was the cleanliness and hygiene of the room, which made the experience very comfortable. The spacious bath added a touch of luxury. The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping and the restaurant, were incredibly friendly and courteous, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The delicious food, beautifully presented, was another highlight. The attention to detail with toiletries and room amenities made me feel truly cared for. Overall, the superb value for money and exceptional service stood out the most.

Honestly, there was nothing I didn't like about my stay at Sunil Portico. Everything from the cleanliness to the service was flawless, and I couldn't find a single fault. It was an all-around perfect experience.

Sunhill Portico is a hotel with exceptional precision down to the smallest detail. The friendly staff ensures that everything works optimally at any time. The breakfast is lovely. When I left some items at the hotel after departure, the staff tried to do everything they could to contact me. I didn't see it until later but when I contacted the hotel they sent me what I had forgotten in the mail. I am very grateful and would recommend this hotel either as a base for exploring northern West Bengal and Siliguri or as preparation for a journey further up the Chicken's neck.

Excellent experience. Every person is very welcoming and helpful. They had a better room available and upgraded us with no charge. We also were able to check in earlier. We have been always treated as the most desired guests. Location is great, close to everything. They have all this tiny things available in the room, from slippers to shaving kit. Breakfast is great with Indian and European options. They also helped us to book our ride to the mountains. We definitely visit this hotel again, the service is exceptional.

It is a cyclist’s paradise, because for a world-cyclist it is absolutely necessary, to stay in a familiar atmosphere with friendly, helpful and nearable stuff, to have the bicycle stored absolutely safe, to get very good food (cyclists eat a lot…), to get the best and valide informations about everything that cyclists need (cyclists need a lot…), and - in case of a cyclist’s rest day - to recover and regenerate as good as possible: All this needs are completely fulfilled by Moloy and his great stuff - therefor this hotel is one of three hotels on my long bicycle-travel that earns the rare title “cyclist’s paradise”, congratulation to Moloy and his stuff!!!

The Sunhill Portico hotel and its staff are perfect. From the time you enter the gates to the time you leave there is nothing to fault. The staff are friendly, professional and efficient. The room comfortable with everything one needs. The complimentary breakfast, prepared by a properly trained chef , offers Indian and Continental followed by an array of pastries that melt in your mouth. The Sunhill Portico is equal to a top hotel anywhere in the world. Congratulations! we will be staying again on our way back from Darjeeling.

The was absolutely nothing we disliked.

Property was thoroughly wonderful and it’s a very good place to stay with family as it is safe and secure. they have in-house kitchen where we can have a excellent breakfast which comes with masala dosai, vadai, many variety of Italian cuisine and paratha, poori and lot of fruits and juices.

we requested to have all the 3 rooms in the same floor, due to which we end up taking 2 lesser price room which was also good to accommodate, but while check out they haven’t change the charges as they said since it’s thru booking.com they cannot change the prices. which is a drawback. clear communication is needed. and on top of the charges shown in booking.com there was central GST and state GST which costed another 1600Rupees extra which is ridiculous.

The property was clean, and centrally located. We left before breakfast time. The staff was kind enough to pack us a packet breakfast.

I was travelling with my wife. We were given separate twin beds. I felt the staff could have mentioned it during check in. At least, if they didn't have Queen or King size beds, they could have least offered us to join the beds. This is just a feedback, not exactly a complaint.

It was a bit of a taxi ride to the railway station particularly with late night arrivals and early morning departure, but neither location of railway station nor of hotel an be changed!

Very clean and comfortable rooms with great facilities. The shower was the absolute best I have ever experienced in all my business and leisure travels.

The room was clean & comfortable. The location is prime, with just a little walk you can reach Bidhan market. The hotel is located on a peaceful road, so there's no loud noise from cars etc. The food at the restaurant is also good quality.
