Stay was comfortable due to room quality and the decor staff friendly and helpful food 7 /10 Choice given between sayaji and Surya my choice would be Surya price and comfort Sayaji over priced for the room there Premium quality is basic room very poor

Location ideal for me all ways been looked after during my stay especially thanks goes Duty manager Mr Sunil he makes my stay comfortable and pressure-able I couldn’t ask more needs trained staff at reception not well coming not bothered Restaurant staff attentive and helpful having visiting the hotel last 15yrs I find the breakfast choice has gone a mark down

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially the lady working in the restaurant in the evening. Great selection of food at breakfast and dinner, I didn’t use the facilities but did have a look and whilst a little smaller than expected they did seem quite pleasant. Room was very comfortable and very clean, the shower water was really hot but ran cooler after a little while. All in all a very nice hotel.

I guess the location is a not ideal if you want to take a walk out but it’s very central and most people use taxis or drive. The water in the shower runs very hot and takes a while to run cool enough for a shower but not really an issue.

This was the last stop on a two week road trip and the property was fabulous. The Executive Room was large and very well appointed with all the amenities. The staff was prompt and helpful in every way. We ordered room service a couple of times and the food was quite good and filling at great value. The location is very close to Vadodara station yet in a quiet area so overall very happy with the stay.

Nothing as such

Very clean and well maintained. The buffer was excellent every day with many options to choose from. I stayed a few weeks and was very comfortable there.

The rooms are very comfortable and clean. A bit stuffy at times as the windows cannot be open due to air quality. Air conditioning certainly helps.

The staff were really friendly and helpful particularly in the restaurant where the food was also great. We were able to organise excursions easily with the front desk staff who were also great.

It was really difficult to understand the wiring in the room in terms of which switch went with which lamp. It was a bit illogical in that way.

It was a very pleasant stay with very good service .Hotel staff at the front desk was very courteous and helpful.I would like to mention the name of the one of the staff members Mrs.Elizabeth.She is so awesome,very kind and compassionate.She did selfless service to my mom.My mom wasn’t feeling good .She took us to the doctor and took care of her.Best hotel to stay in Vadodara.

Room, location, breakfast, pool

Check in process is crazy. Staff are asking a tourist for a local address. How on earth is a foreign tourist supposed to provide a local address, if it's the first time I'm visiting Baroda and I don't know anyone in the city. This is the most absurd hotel check-in requirement I have ever seen. Also the process of getting a liquor permit is crazy.

The staff were exceptional. Unfortunately our room flooded at 4 am. And the night staff immediately came to help and moved our room straight away, and laundered our clothes that got wet complimentary. Would definitely recommend a stay here if ever in Vadodara.

The grand Mercure Vadodara is a beautiful property really worth the price you spend. The staff is very cooperative. Looking at the tariff rooms are simple but comfortable. Lobby is a small but beautifully decorated. Staff at reception is polite and cooperative . I like the property and I would like to stay here again
