Best place to stay in varanasi! I have been travelling from last 9 months but this hostel was really special. From there hospitality to there staff. Hostel is very clean and there food is amazing. Thank u nidhi didi for the delicious food u cook. Yash and vikesh is very nice at front desk. Shiva,sunil and ajeet are fantastic houskeepers. The vibe of common area will trap u forever.. At last i want to say if any one is travelling to varanasi this is the place to stay...

Absolutely Nothing

The best thing about this hostel is it's crowd which is highly safe for girls . And ofc the common area's vibe❤

Very nice hostel with clean rooms. The staff is great and helpful. You can enjoy on the rooftop. Nearby is a very good restaurant where you can eat (not the cheapest but the money). They oder loundery service in the hostel. Lockers in the room are avaible. Even my very big backpack fits inside. But I had one of the bigger lockers. To coonect with travelers it is the perfect place. And very near to the river. Down 20 meters is a playground for freeletics.small park. Bathrooms is cleaned often. Not too noisy. Good to sleep. The ledder for reaching the upper beds is a little difficult to climb.

Cave : there are some extra tax to pay each day. I didn't know that and was surprised. But was ok. You get the info via the emay when you book on booking.

The vibe at the hostel is 😍 the crowd was mostly young but we (the not so young) could gel easily with them it was as if age doesn't matter it's the wavelength and the ambience that makes the connection possible it's near the assisi ghat and that makes it all the more fun it's a different world altogether where you have people playing their favourite songs or some story telling sessions and a beautiful common area where friendships just form in a jiffy we enjoyed our stay very much and will surely go back again and again and a special mention about aashish who is full of wonderful anecdotes about the place and takes his own sweet time to explain everything in detail and there is another person yash who is equally charming and very helpful and they all go out of their way to make you comfortable and the remaining staff are also friendly and nice

Lack of enough windows in the dorms

Our stay at Moustache Hostel Varanasi was amazing. The hostel is located at a walking distance from Assi Ghat so you can walk and sit at the Ghat anytime you want. Even Kashi Vishwanath Temple is also 30-35 minutes walking distance away from the hostel so if you love to walk it can also be covered on foot. Special mention to Yash as he hosted us really well. He was very friendly and helped us with the itinerary, planning a return journey, good food recommendations and also maintaining a good social vibe in the common area. Also he was very professional and did a great job at making guests comfortable. The rest of the staff was also good. They have an in-house cafeteria where you can try their cheese chilli sandwich which I loved.

The washroom was clean and hygienic but it was very compact but it didn't affect the experience much.

Good hostel near Assi Ghat (5 minutes walk more or less). It is accessible by taxi, unlike other accomodations in Varanasi that are located in narrow streets where the cars cannot access. Friendly and very helpful staff. They arranged a transfer by taxi from the airport and to the airport for 1200 Rupees each way. The hostel has a beautiful terrace on the rooftop with a bar that also serves good food for a fair price. Each bed is equipped with sockets (Very important), a light, a fan and a locker under the bed (You have to bring your own padlock). Bed sheets are included in the price, while you have to bring your own towel.

There are just two bathrooms for each floor. It would be useful to add a shower-box in the bathroom because at the moment it's difficult to have a shower without getting the floor of the bathroom wet.

Happening Place to chill and relax.. People coming here from all around the world. No restrictions .. Good Staffs

The Locker was an issue for me... Didn't give me the sense of security for my luggage even after I put a lock because the door remained half open and can easily be broken... I was carrying 2 laptops and whenever I went outside to visit places, I always had a worry somewhere in my mind about my belongings. Working and Quality People are coming here ,they don't come here to steal things yet you never know anyone's intention. If the Locker issue is fixed I think this Place is very Perfect.

This prime spot allowed for spontaneous adventures and deep dives into the spiritual essence of Kashi. Exploring the ghats, immersing in the local culture, and returning to the comforting confines of Mustache was a rhythmic dance of adventure and tranquility. I left enriched by the experience, carrying a piece of Banaras and the warmth of Mustache with me. A heartfelt thank you to the team for crafting such a memorable stay.

The bed and the sheets were clean and felt very comfortable. Staff is very nice and will help you out with anything you need. Shower is hot in just a few seconds and pressure was more than decent. The room is quite big, it was actually the biggest one we've had in India. The rooftop terrace is nice to lay down and relax even though it was super hot at this time of the year. AC works perfectly. Hostel is bed bugs free.

WIFI didn't work for the whole duration of our stay (3 nights). We ordered pakoras on the rooftop and they were quite bad but maybe the other items on the menu are good! The hostel was a bit noisy at night, but that's common for this type of place.

Sunil thanks for making us smile all the time and cook bhaiya thank you for lovely food.. cook bhaiya said one thing if you are doing something for so long make sure you are perfect in it. Either it is cooking food or living life.. Thanks Mayank for creating a home like place.. Moustache i will visit again.
