The location was lovely overlooking a small stretch of beach from the second floor balcony. We rented a bike from reception and used the laundry service during our stay which was very convenient. You stay in a very tourist heavy area with expensive (for Indonesia) restaurants right down the street which wasn’t ideal for us backpacking on a budget but we did manage to find some cheaper local food spots. There were building works during our stay as well as the upstairs bar which played music from around 2- 9/11 but we were only really using the room for sleeping so didn’t majorly affect us however it was definitely loud through the day.

The street just outside the hotel does not reflect any Balinese culture. Just French, Spanish and other forgotten restaurants and large posh hotels to cater for the thousands of tourists pouring through here every day

Surprised by the low rating of this hotel….As far as beachfront hotels in the area, you can not beat the price of PNB. View of the waves from your balcony and can be out in the line up in 1 minute if the waves are looking good! Rooftop pool and bar are super nice. Separate ownership so most of the seating is for visiting patrons, but the lounge chairs available to guests were plenty and the food and drinks available were delicious and convenient. Rooms are not glamorous but have everything you need for a comfortable stay. I see a lot of complaints about the music from the rooftop, but they did a good job always turning off the music between 10 and 10:15. Staff was happy to help with any and all requests made throughout our 2 week stay…

The staff went above and beyond to make my stay great. They helped with luggage and any other needs I had. I cannot say enough how lovely the staff are. The location is a 10 minute beach walk to Canggu restaurants. Also there is a beach entrance fee you must pay each time you enter the area with taxi car or bike. That’s inconvenient because f you’re staying at the hotel for several days.

The balcony doors didn’t close fully so I dealt with mosquitoes getting into my room and biting me every night.

It’s your average cheap beachside hotel. I’m surprised the reviews are so bad because I thought it was charming. I think a lot of people who choose to stay at cheaper accommodation just expect too much. The staff is really friendly, the room was clean, it’s RIGHT next to the beach with beautiful sunsets. Definitely not the Ritz but was as expected! Great place to stay in my opinion and in a great area of Canggu! If you want nicer amenities, stay at a more expensive hotel!

We have stayed here many times. The location and the price are a winning combination. We can walk to go for a swim, come back for a great coffee downstairs. Use the rooftop pool. The room is fine, and bed comfortable. It’s not the flashiest hotel in the world, and yes there’s music upstairs until 10, but we are very ok with it. Thank you and we’ll be back - perfect for our weekend away in Canggu.

The room was awesome. The facilities and hospitality of the staff was great. There was a jacuzzi in the room. The hotel is right on the beach, so you can have a stroll whenever you want. The restaurant SOL rooftop vibe was pretty great.

There are some things that were bothering me. The entrance to the room is pretty narrow and is completely separate from the resort entry. Also, the view from the king's room was not really ocean view. It would have been better if the other rooms were booked.

The location was outstanding. As surfers, you couldn’t get any closer to the surfing with outstanding views of the beach. Was located away from the hustle and bustle of Canggu but close enough to the action and great restaurants within walking distance. The staff were a highlight. Always friendly, very helpful and accommodating.

The rooms we’re comfortable but could do with a little refreshing.

Good location right next to the beach and being able to go to the day pool/bar upstairs. The room was a good sized and the bathroom. Both room and bathroom clean. The staff were also very friendly and helpful! :)

the pillows were too high and firm for people who like a soft pillow but I still had a good nights sleep and didn't have a sore neck in the morning :)

The location is perfect right on the beach. It’s in the upper end of Canggu, so it’s quieter. The rooftop bar and pool is wonderful. And there’s a really cute coffee shop right at the entrance of the hotel that has yummy coffee in the morning.

I really don’t have any complaints. It’s a little bit older, but for the price it’s fantastic.

Location location location!!! What a gem we have fund here in Canguu. It is super quiet, there is not party and noisy bars near by. It is located right at the beach with a very nice restaurant with decent and delicious food. Also with many more options for restaurants, cafes and gelatos on the same street. And very chill and relaxing warungs on the same beach to enjoy the amazing sunsets every day. All the staff is super friendly and helpful. I also had a traditional Balinese massage with Cecilia at the Spa they got there, it was really nice. And of course that pool !!!

It wasn’t too bad in general and even though they provide housekeeping every day there could be a little bit more attention to the cleaning especially to the washbasin.
