Nice cozy property, comfortable rooms, great location. Overall nice vibe and great value for money

We had selected the property because it offered “pay at property” option and provided our card details just to hold the reservation (we specifically didn’t want the charges on the card). But they charged my card before our arrival and despite our multiple requests (before and after arrival) and assuring them of our stay with them and payment in cash, they didn’t have the means to revert the charges. I was NOT happy with that.

I loved Wasabi so much, I stayed there three times over two months. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the housekeeping service is amazing. For a reasonably low priced hotel, you get lots of homely extras including dressing gowns, plug adapter, an umbrella etc. The shower pressure and temperature is always good. The balcony area is perfect for relaxing and each room has its own wifi meaning we had no issues streaming or uploading. The pool is lovely and the restaurant food is great. The staff are all super friendly and happy to help. And of course the location is perfect, walking distance to the beach, Wrong Gym, all of the restaurants and shops of Pererenan.

I’m nitpicking here but the loungers by the pool could be switched for ones you can adjust. It’s a bit annoying not being able to change position or flip over to tan. In the mornings, breakfast was sometimes very slow to arrive despite us being the only guests around. Lastly, having a place to wash your sandy feet after going to the beach would be ideal (but again, didn’t impact our stay).

The breakfast was fine! We loved the all you could eat Sushi menu. It was always fresh and such good value for money. The room and amenities met our expectations. It was in a nice quiet part of Canggu with so many restaurants to visit for all meals of the day. Only a 10 min walk to the beach which was a big plus! The staff were so accommodating and friendly. Wasabi will definitely be our go to accommodation when we come back next time.

Mattresses were a little hard for our liking but the rest of the experience was wonderful.

A lovely little hotel close to Perenenan beach but away from the noisy streets/areas. Kind and professional staff, we had a couple of minor issues (e.g. aircon dripped at one point) which they immediately resolved, just lovely and friendly throughout our stay. Room was comfortable and quiet, had everything we needed. Breakfasts were very good too, and we ate in the restaurant one evening which was absolutely delicious and great value. Pool was clean and peaceful - it all contributed to a perfect end to our Bali holiday! Thank you Wasabi!

Place has really nice rooms, very clean, and amazing balconies on second floor, where you can just go outside and chill during super hot hours and not being afraid that you are under the sun. Pool is very clean, always provided towels and shower, so when you back after the beach you can wash off the sand. Breakfasts are amazing, very nice. Also are has a lot of great options for food, place just across the road - Roots, really nice fresh food. Beach is just 7min walk. hotel also has a place for parking, so you can get yourself a scooter to explore Bali and have scooter parked nearby.

I liked everything about this property / stay. The staff are exceptional and will go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable and well taken care of. The pool is awesome and the rooms are beautiful…….they spared no detail to give you the feeling of a five star stay. Everyone that worked there was always wiping and cleaning and this shows in all areas of this hotel. Oh, and the location is excellent, with a 10 minute walke the the beach and many stores, restaraunt and cafes all around. I was sad to leave when I checked out after 8 fantastic nights.

Had an amazing stay at Wasabi! The room was a good size and comfortable, it had everything I needed. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a lot of options from Indonesian food to more Western choices. Also ate at the restaurant in the evening and the food was great. Lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby (highly recommend Sista Dumpling). It's not in the really touristy part of Canggu, but only a 5 min Grab ride to get there if you want.

check in was easy, rooms were clean, bathrooms as well. Staff was helpful and provided what we wanted, when we wanted. It was incredibly cheap for what you get. Comfy beds! Definitely recommended.

The size of the room seems much bigger on pictures than it does in real life. But the bed is big enough even to share with a friend which was my case. The only thing I really disliked is that the sun does not hit on the bottom apartment where the balcony is advertised. our beach clothes and towels never dried and was stinking like wet dogs. They should provide a place to dry the clothes especially as most people are there because of the beach

The room was as advertised and there were no surprises. I was happy to be on the second level and away from the stairwell; I enjoyed the cleanliness of the property and that was definitely a highlight. The breakfast as well as the all you can eat sushi was quite satisfying. Also, the service. The staff was extremely attentive to whatever I needed.

If I have to think of something; a choice of an omelette would have been a welcome addition to the breakfast menu. Or, possibly just something more protein forward than just eggs benedict.

Wasabi Hotel is a super little gem in Pererenan, probably about a 2 minute motorcycle ride down the main drag to the beach. Our room was on the first level with a lovely balcony and day bed which was a treat to be able to sit outside in comfort. The room itself was tastefully decorated in a minimalistic and functional style. The room is equipped with TV, Fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, adequate hanging space for clothes and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. The pool area provided enough day bed lounges for guests which for a smaller hotel is quite rare. The restaurant attached to the hotel is where the real prize is to be found. The food is Japanese themed and of exceptional quality, value, presentation and variety, it was absolutely amazing and if nothing else can recommend the hotels food as one of your stops in the area!! The staff were all completely delightful, professional and courteous at all times and tended to any request with complete efficiency and diligence. Can highly recommend Wasabi Hotel if you are travelling to the area and looking for a mid range, comfortable and affordable hotel. The area is surrounded with some wonderful restaurants so Wasabi would be a perfect base to explore the culinary delights the area has to offer. Thankyou for having us, we will be back!!!
