The service is impeccable right from check in to the final moment of checking out. Risya at the receptionist attended to us for both check in and check out and we have such a strong and positive impression of her even though it was just a few minutes worth. They upgraded our room, gave us a one-day complimentary hotel breakfast and celebrated my partner’s birthday with a whole group of staffs even without my request. Room service and in-room dining when requested came very swiftly unlike the usual slow services in other hotels.

Their services are very good and friendly staff as well. Thank you to the duty Manager, Randi for giving us a complimentary breakfast and also sending us a small cake to our room as a wedding anniversary gift when he found out that we were going to celebrate our wedding anniversary at the hotel, when we checked in at the counter. We really appreciate that. The seaaview from our hotel room is amazing. The rooftop bar, the view is simply amazing at night as well. We enjoyed the live music there. The pool, which is also facing the seaview, is also amazing. The best part is that the hotel is just a minute away from ferry terminal.

Im staying at room 701. I think the toilet plug spoilt coz cant use the hair drayer. As for others is great!! Above the great staying over, the only problem is during rooms payment on the first day. My first experience payment rejection by my cards. Till now i cant figure it out why our cards been rejected when we can withdraw, dine and do shopping using the same cards. When we pick Marriott Hotel in the future hope there will be no problem for room payment again.

Everything is as advertised. The food was delicious, absolutely recommend breakfast at the place (worth the extra money). The hotel staff are very welcoming, polite and helpful. We celebrated our daughter's birthday at the place, and they decorated the room for us (all free of charge). They gave a tent for her to play with. They even provided us cake, and helped us blow several baloons for the occasion. They went beyond expectations. Totally worth the money. The location is also incredibly convenient. If arriving from Singapore via Horizon ferry, it's right next doors.

Providing a small kitchenette would be a great idea for families with kids. My kid has a special diet. Would be great in those circumstances. Also, inflatable tubes or swimming boards for kids would be lovely. However, they don't advertise it, so not a problem. Just a few suggestions.

Everything about the hotel is awesome. The breakfast spread was so good. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The facilities that the hotel have is sufficient and maintained very well. There's nothing more you would ask for. This is my repeated stay. The hotel is linked to Harbourbay Ferry Terminal. I would like to personally mention the staffs names that have helped me alot during my stay, there are Rahmat(Guest Relation) , Deddy and the other 1 of his colleague I couldn't recall his name from (Baggage Department). This people are just lovely & gave out all their best service to the guest. The hotel should recognise them as part of an Excellent Staffs.

Nothing that can make me say till the word " Things that I didn't like" everything in Marriott Harbour Bay was just Superb. Nothing negative for this hotel from start to the end. Keep it up! If would be more great if you do have a family room & more affordable price. But what ever it is, everything is just too good.

Rooms were very clean, comfortable and well-appointed - we loved the long bay window couch. Swimming pool was a great place to relax. The area around the hotel offers easy access to convenience stores, restaurants, spas. It was easy to get a Grab when we wanted to go someplace further. But the best part of the stay had to be the staff. All of them - from the receptionists to the waiters to the staff in the lobby - were excellent, unfailingly helpful, polite and professional. Breakfast service was very prompt and thoughtful - when the staff saw our baby making a mess they were quickly on hand to help us.

The hotel is fairly new hence the building and condition of the rooms was good. We received a welcome pasty complimentary which was nice. Location is right next to the ferry terminal which is convenient. The roof top bar was nice and the service was good.

I booked a room stay that including breakfast via booking.com. However the reservation confirmation did not mention breakfast. When I contacted the hotel via booking.com messaging inbox, they did not reply to my query on whether the room rate included breakfast. So we ended up without it. I did not take a screenshot of what I saw when I was booking, but I will from now on. This may have have been a mistake of booking.com and not the hotel. There was an unfortunate smell of sewage (possibly from the sea) and crows around the pool neither of which were ideal.

We celebrated our 26th anniversary in the hotel for the first time and the services is impeccable. The hotel staff always help with a big smile no matter which area of the hotel property! We loved the spacious room sizes and the long sofa sitting area to laze around. Especially love the rooftop bar for our dinner celebration on the first night as we choose the big round seat for just 2 of us with the harbour bay & sunset view and it was such a romantic & beautiful experience. Thank you for all the special gifts - bed decoration, cakes in the room and rooftop bar as well as the handwritten wishes from the housekeeping team. The Quan spa has really good skills for the Tuina package and the rate is reasonable cos hotel guests has discount rate. We are so pleased with the 3 days 2 night stay.

A little disappointment that our room is not facing the harbourbay view since I have requested it in the first place. Otherwise it will be a perfect one!

We were disappointed on check out day as there were some technical glitch relating to the machine refund. We hope the mgt can look into this and improve the service recovery on this. The food at the lounge looks miserable and the food is not warmed. Quantity only a few pieces and the food was not replenish when it finished. Hope the mgt can train the staff to be more attentive in ensuring the food are adequate and replenished when the food qty is low.

Staff were very professional and attentive. Definitely one of the best hotels in Batam. The aircon in the room kept getting warm, but staff were very proactive and checked in personally about our comfort. A technician came in a couple of times to check the aircon. It did get colder, but somehow got warmer at night. Can't fault the staff as they really did their very best. Will definitely be booking this hotel whenever I come to Batam.

Just the aircon, would be good to look into the aircon system not just for the room but at the corridoors of the rooms too. Everything else was great!
