Excellent service of the staff of Bleu Mathis. And extremely big and tasty breakfast. A beautiful luxurious resort. We normally don't stay at resorts like this because it is double the price of what we normally pay for any stay in Indonesia, but we got a nice discount since we booked a few days prior to arriving.

There should have been more options for Indonesian food on the menu, since we don't like to eat Italian, Mexican or anything else which is not local when staying in a country where they have such tasty food! Prices are a bit higher for drinks and food than what we are used to in Indonesia.

Stylish and stunning very thoughtfully designed hotel in a beautiful location. The staff were so helpful and kind. Clean and very comfortable cabanas. We loved our stay.

The food at the restaurant wasn’t great quality. The music is quite loud at the restaurant/pool area and the same playlist every day. We would have preferred to listen to the sound of the sea and nature.

Everything! The rooms were beautifully furnished and the pool area has lots of seating/bean bags/beds to relax on. The staff tried very hard to make sure you had a wonderful stay from greeting us on the beach when we arrived to making sure we didn’t have to carry our luggage anywhere. I would definitely stay again.

The food in the restaurant was a little bit pricey.

Hotel is in the secluded part of the island so you feel like you have the whole island for yourself. Staff is really friendly.

The hotel has no activities other than chilling, hiking around and snorkelling (paid). The Mathis chain has kind of luxurious attitude so they should stop penny-pinching ( ordered a cake for my moms birthday and requested a candle-candle is extra, please pick us from the other side of the island with the hotels boat- ofc, 50k per person and such)

Bleu Mathis is a superb and human size resort. The decoration is stunning and rooms are comfortable. It worth staying there several days outside de high season. The breakfast is good and very generous As recently open, some equipements are still missing, such parasols...

The restaurant is very good, but expensive compared to local standards. As nothing else in the area, the menu should offer a wider choice for those staying longer than 3 days.

The property is a paradise, I was lucky enough to be the first guest at the blue Mathis and wow! What a true beauty. On the island of Gili Asahan this resort is honestly a top tier resort sitting at 5 starts with extreamly professional and caring staff that would bend over backwards to provide the best service for your stay. With beautiful villas that all have a sea view Morden styling and décor, there’s nothing more this resort could do to make this stay more pleasurable. I stayed in the beach villa with plunge pool and I didn’t expect how amazing this villa would be. Perfectly high end with comfortable outdoor plunge pool this villa would beat most. Hot showers in bathroom that was designed to perfection with high quality appliances and smartly designed indoor/ outdoor living. I had the most peaceful sleep with cosy large beds and cosy pillows, air conditioned rooms and a quietness as the island itself is inhabited with near 70 people that had given me a true getaway from the Bali/Lombok hustle. The plunge pool was a gem, to have access to you own private pool although they have a beautiful and Large communal pool there’s something about taking a dip into your own pool that’s warm just before you get to sleep. Surprising deep enough to soak and to swim around in Breakfast lunch and dinner was a treat! Breakfast was extremely tasty and fufulling offering you an order form before the next day to be prepared how you like it in your villa or in the restaurant, the meals was so tasty they have a brilliant chef and very meals was delicious not forgetting affordable for what you get as the portions was filling! Option of western and Indonesian cuisine both being very well presenting and tasting, loved the small plates options was perfect for sitting by the pool.

Stunning place to relax and unwind. The team showed great effort to make you feel at home. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. The boat transfer to Gili Asahan from Kores Beach (Lombok) is included in the price.

The beach is not for snorkeling or swimming. You will need to go to the west or south of the island, which you can do by foot, as the island is quite small and thus perfect to explore.

Nice calm accommodation. Stayed for a couple of days and also did snorkeling trips in the surrounding area. Food is tasty and the pool is pretty good. The staff is very helpful and nice. They clean up the rooms up to two times a day and you can ask for e.g. refill as much as you like. The beds are really comfortable. We both booked massages and liked it a lot! You can walk to other parts of the small island and there are also small shops for drinks and snacks if you want.

The air con in the room could have been stronger for our liking. We had the feeling that it did not have enough power to cool the room. There are a lot of dead corals on the beach-wearing shoes is recommended! Also when we visited the island there was a lot of trash in and outside the water. We think it is because of the neighboring islands, like Lombok.

We visited in Dec. 2024, hotel was still almost brand new--and almost empty, given it was low season. Very fortunate to have it to ourselves: modern, comfortable villa; excellent drinks beachside for happy hour; consistently terrific restaurant; conscientious, friendly staff, always available but not oppressive. Roby at the reception desk was immensely helpful and responsive. The pool is top notch, but highlight was our secluded miniature soak pool overlooking the sea. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous place just stunning absolute paradise and the rooms just beautiful esp.if u get beachfront views... the staff just awesome what an awesome bunch of boys and young men so.polite and so chatty they make this place even better x

Only thing I can slightly fault is if u want to walk around to eco lodge and other resort places to eat it's quite tricky with the steep stairs but u can pay 3 bucks each way and they will drop u over pick u back up. The food menu is quite French Def prefer more indo food but all in all great stay xx
